I'm going to be honest. I've never been an actively social member of the goth scene because I'm an anxious potato. In school I was the quiet tag along friend that said something sort of funny once in a while, and people laughed mostly out of shock that I had actually spoken. I'm the hobbity type that enjoys leisurely time at home with my partner and two cats, and I love my boring peaceful life. My IRL friends have all moved out of state, moved away from the subculture, become busy starting families, etc, so I find myself looking for more people on my wavelength to connect with on a friendly basis.
