I believe quietness is a way of life, an essential to happiness, precious and decadent.
When I think of quiet, I see what I am, what I want to be, who I am
and who I want to be. I want to live quietly, gently. I want to feel quietly.
I want to speak quietly, and most importantly, listen quietly.
Quietly listening ears hear more than loud ones. Quiet is often mistaken.
In some cases, quiet can cause disquiet in restless hearts facing
calm, hawk-sharp eyes.

I can't think of much that's more pleasant than comfortable, companionable quiet.
Quietly raining, quietly reading, painting, drawing, loving, learning.
Quietly communicating with unspoken words. Deeply thought, truly meant.
It has the power to thaw hardened hearts, sway forests, calm a tempest and settle
a storm.
