Oh, I never know what to write. Ahhh, from Ohio, been in Georgia for a few years now, finding it quite all right except for the long and hot summers lol. I have two cats, plus my room mate's cat and they're all terrible.
I suppose I fit the parameters as a Vampyre well enough, although this is something I've only really been aware of for a few years now. I like the alternate spelling in order to differentiate from fictional/folkloric vampires. This is useful as I am the sort of dweeb who enjoys table top role playing games-- D&D (3.5, usually) and yes, VtM too. Vampyres pretending to be (humans pretending to be) vampires. :V See, the different spelling helps lol.
Of course I enjoy certain vampire media too, but I'm woefully picky so it's basically that I like watching Interview with the Vampire a lot, and I like Blade, and I thought Hellsing was pretty cool back in college, and so on and so forth. Never seen True Blood or anything like that, have seen Underworld a few times and can never seem to remember what happened in it...? I consider this rather peculiar.
I'm usually pretty shy on the internet because it's tricksy to understand what's going on when it's text-only, although I do appreciate the restrictions on new members here because it's totally expected that I'm going to be quiet and lurking for some time! Hurrah! I hope I enjoy it here and make some friends or... something. Whatever it is people do on the internet.
