The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Hi, everybody! I'm a Romanian author from Transylvania, one of the lands which generated many legends about vampires. However, legends are not specifically what I am interested in but some true stories would be welcomed 
I am currently working on a book about vampires, the action is obviously fictional as I am creating a complex epic line, but the ideas and the principles presented in the book I really want to be as close to reality as they can be...which is why I am here. So I am interested in any story, experience, thoughts, feelings, fears, and so on and so far, about vampires, and if any of you is a real one, by all means please introduce yourself so we can have a chat. The book I am writing now is in English, therefore I will be able to share with you some aspects of it and we will see how the final result will look like...

With that being said, I must add I am a very open person and I am here to listen, not to judge and not to change.

I strongly believe we are all special, and our society can't possibly define each and every one of us. That is what I want to hear from you: what makes you different, what makes you be YOU and how did you discover yourself in such an uniform and fade world?
