My favorite vampire story is CARMILLA by Joseph Sheridan LeFanu.

Among my favorite films are LET ME IN as well as SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE and BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA plus INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. Let us not forget VAMPYR and NOSFERATU, DRACULA'S DAUGHTER and VAMPIRE CIRCUS.

Utterly loath DRACULA 3000 and MAMA DRACULA.

One disappointment to me is the relative scarcity of good vampire theatre like TANZ DER VAMPIRE and the recent London production of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. Have sought to remedy this with my own play adaptation of CARMILLA (more information at www.carmilla.org).
