I went on siring my coffee absently glaring out the window, wishing it just would stop. Every thing just stop, then it hit me...
the cat spoke.
"Excuse me" I said to the cat," did you just speak to me?"
"Why yes" the cat said with an air of superiority"we cant can speak but really why bother your a boring species any way and hardly any thing to write home to mum about".
"how ever why is it we get this nasty tasting garbage you call food when you get to eat food you didn't have to kill?"
" I say it smells rather delightful, I would love to sing my claws into some of the chicken you made last night"
"Oh by the way the box needs cleaning ,Id tend to it ASAP IF i were you or I'll be forced to use the Bath tub again"
I sat there flabbergasted,the cat is actually talking to me!
"Well" I said "If you can talk why don't you use the toilet like i do"?
"Cant"said the cat
"Cant or wont" I demanded of him.
"Cant, childhood trauma"Said cat.
"What child hood trauma I've known you your whole life"I said
"remember when I fell in?" asked the cat
"yes" I replied.
"I was trying to do it the way you do
and well splash"
"I vowed never again"
"And One more thing before I totally ignore your existence"
"the name IS NOT SCOOTER" he growled.
"Allow me to Introduce my self...Jasper T. Collins Is my name

And with that he bound from the chair to his sun spot at the window curled up and dozed off.
