Nowadays the term vampire has taken on a whole new meaning. Historically, and in a literary sense, a vampire is a supernatural creature; a person that has come back from the dead and must survive on the blood of the living... For centuries these creatures showed up in many different cultures, and were feared. The term has even been used to describe some of the bloodiest murderers in History. Vlad the Impaler, Elizabeth Báthory , Gilles de Rais, Peter Kürten and Fritz Haarman, to mane but a few.... But, with the coming of the age of science, we have found that this legendary creature is nothing more than that, a legend which people used to explain the horrors of death and corpses. As science took root, we know more about the process of death, and are removed from the physical remains of the departed.
Nowadays, a different kind of vampire hold sway over us, and many of you - myself included - will have fallen prey to one of them, and not even known about it. What am I talking about? I'm talking about PSYCHIC VAMPIRES. Vampires that do not feed on the blood of others, they drain you of your energy.
What is a Psychic Vampire?
Well, that answer is pretty simple to answer. Even though there are many kinds of Psychic Vampire, though they all have one common trait. Due to their own energy system supplying them with inadequate amount of energy, they tap into and feed of the energy of those that are around them. Many "Psychic vampires" are not aware they are doing this to the people around them, though, there are some that are very aware of what they are doing.
What happens when a Psychic Vampire "feeds"?
The vampire will feel a surge of energy, renewing their vigor and vitality, albeit, only a temporary one. However the victim of the vampire's feeding will feel an almost immediate loss of physical and mental energy. If you sudden feel like you are emotionally, mentally and physically drained, you may be an unsuspecting victim of such a vampire. Prolonged exposure to psychic vampires and their feeding can lead to damage to the victims own energy system, and in some extreme cases, physical illness, sometimes serious.
Who are Psychic Vampires?
Much like their folklore counterparts, psychic vampires can be any age, any gender, and they come from all walks of life. They could be a middle aged doctor, or a teenager, your stay at home mum neighbour, and even someone in your own family. As I mentioned before, many of these people DO NOT know what they are doing, and as they are unaware, should not be hated or harmed. They need to be helped and taught - like anything - to control what they do. Though, there are always some bad eggs, and they will feed on whoever is near them, and they do so fully aware of the side effects and damage they cause. These people are the exception, not the rule. THINK before you go accusing people, and there is no need to get the pitchforks.
How can you protect yourself?
There are some very effective techniques for dealing with psychic vampires, some even help you end an attack once started and others help you to prevent them altogether.
**The most simple way of protecting yourself (that I have researched anyway) is a finger interlocking technique where you put the tips of your thumb and middle finger together and create 2 interlocking circles... This is apparently a scientifically tested technique for protecting yourself.
** You can create a bubble of light energy around you - the bubble protection I have posted about before - this bubble of pure white (or coloured ray) energy keeps the vampire from attacking your personal energy.
** You can program a Quartz Crystal for protection against Psychic Vamperism. The potential that is held within a Quartz crystal is unrivaled in the natural world. You can program the crystal to create an energy barrier between you and the vampire, making their attacks inert. The Quartz Crystal must be kept in close proximity to you, and must be cleansed regularly r after each and every "attack".
