A glimmer of hope

Anyone who has been here for 10+ years has a friend that went "poof" and never came back. You never forgot about them and sometimes you are close enough to know their real name and where they are from. I have many I wonder about. I had a close friend here from Australia. One year we even did a gift exchange at Christmas time. The box cost more to ship than what was in it. But we trusted each other to commit and we did. Over the years I would periodically do a name search. Hell, I even did an obit search as I knew they were in tough times and mixed up in the wrong crowd. So I recently did a search again and a business page popped up. When we first met, this person did have a business and there were dates to reflect that timeline. Then there was a gap. Now it seems there is a new business under their name! I sent an email. I really am not expecting a response but I am relieved that they are well!!!! So never give up hope for people. *hugs* to all of my friends here.
