I have a conference to attend tomorrow at lunch time. I am glad for that as there is no need to get up at the call of the crow.. I do feel weary :(

Today I am estatic! Really... sometimes Lady Luck just lands in your lap, and frankly she has not darkened my door in a long while.



I was driving home after conducting a safety audit, when I received a phone-call from a Director of one of our leading Construction Companies in Ireland/UK, and wait for it..he asked me if my Company would like to engage in 3rd party accrediated safety training on behalf of his Organisation.! At a total contract price in the region of a five figured sum for so many heads, in the middle of a recession... how could I say no ;) I will met him first thing tomorrow morning! I act fast!



Thank you dear Lady Luck :) you are shining on me today.. kiss kiss kiss! and I feel you close..it has been a happy day :)

I have two courses with my Professional Body in Law Defense for Expert Witness to attend week after next in England... I am interested in the subject as it may be an extra service I can add to the Company but I am afraid incase my memory fails me as it is so difficult to keep up with Legislation, as the dates and contents of the Acts, Regulations, AcOPS, and Guidance change twice a year! Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is mandatory for my Profession but this is going to be a challenge! I'll bite! but I am not sure I'll bite it in the ass. We will see...

Computer says yes! It is amazing how much work I have got through this morning! I am nearly up to-date on long overdue paperwork. It feels so good to get the backlog finally cleared!



Quality Company Accrediation for ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and Plant Training is due again too. This week should clear that away also :) I got it in the bag now :) and hey, VR don't even log you out anymore, but then I wouldn't be here during working hours anyway so it don't matter to me.
