"It's not you, It's me" roughly translates to "It's you"

This is an expression I have heard many times in my life with connecting to the outside world. In the past I would just chalk it up to it being the "It's me" note, never really realizing or suspecting it was me. Now after sitting down and mulling over in my mind about how nice my relationship with people start out then end bad, I have come to the conclusion that I am the bad factor. Here is my reasoning for it, I have talked to at least over a dozen people on here this past year, that being said I have given my number to 4 different people (which is something I don't normally do) In order to obtain my number 1- I trust you enough to have it; 2- Think you would be interesting to talk to on a daily basics; and 3- Feel some kind of connection. Like I have said before, everything starts out fine then it just takes a left turn for disaster. I could never understand why until now, it's me, I am the problem. One thing I have notice is that I text too much. My reasoning behind this is because we live in a time where everyone has a cell phone in their face. Texting became a thing when I was a teenager so now I do it all the time. So I become overbearing and clingy, and I get mad when someone doesn't text me back. I am just naturally social and like to stay in touch with people, I need to realize that just because I am this way doesn't mean that everyone else is. That being said I have driven these poor souls away one by one until I find myself with no one. By no one I mean someone to have a connection with on a different level, I have plenty of friends but you always want that one special friend. I guess what I'm trying to say is that one of my greatest fears in life is being lost and now I know that I am the one doing the damage to myself.
