NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- A Nevada woman is going to court to keep her "XSTACY" license plates, saying they're not a drug reference as determined by state motor vehicles officials.



Stacy Moore of North Las Vegas says the personalized plates she's had for almost 20 years -- long before the illegal drug ecstacy became popular -- are a play on her name and bubbly personality, The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Wednesday.



The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles had received a single complaint about the plates, the newspaper reported, and ruled they could be considered a reference to the designer drug. She recently lost her appeal of that ruling and said Tuesday she's hired an attorney to sue the DMV in another attempt to keep her special plates
