I feel a change, within my body

My muscle's ache with pain

Pulling and tearing, with disembody

Like I'm being released from a chain



With pain, there is pleasure

It feels like I'm being set free

I will continue to be in this leisure

For maybe this is the way it's meant to be



It's like I can almost feel them

My wings being born

Before I would condemn

But now I will surely adorn



My eyes are a window into my soul

A magnificent bright blue, like the color of the sea
