I stand before the ocean, big and wide
The waves pushing in and out, watching for the tide
At first it's just me alone, feeling the ocean breeze
Then I feel something else, a chill that makes me freeze

As I turn, I see him..in the distance walking towards me
Straining to see who this man is, then my heart says, "Can it be?"
His hair is dark as night, skin as pale as the moon
Trying to hide the joy in my heart, though I know I'm not immune

He stands right in front of me, his eyes wide and true
He takes his hand to my cheek and says, "My angel, I have come back to you"
The beating in my heart jumps, as his words fill my ears
I am so happy to be here with him, my face starts to fill with tears

But something is different...this can't be the same vampire I once knew
He was cruel and cold, this has to be someone new
Maybe someone I have yet to meet, preparing me for our encounter
This "new" vampire is kind and sweet, someone I find much founder

With the joy I felt in my heart, I decided to dance
As I danced on the sand, he joined me, now we were in a trance
Swinging and swaying, nothing but smiles on our faces
He twirls me out and then back in, face to face I hold my graces

I once had a vampyre all my own
Kind, gentle, and never made me feel alone
