Well today was an interesting day, on my way home from hubby's doctor appointment, when my daughter calls... "Mom, the back pasture is on fire, there are fire trucks and everything here"... WTF....



Turns out the neighbor who lives behind us and just down a little hill from our back pasture was burning trash or weeds or some fucked up thing, and apparently decided to set the hill on fire as well... it raced up the hill to our back pasture, almost burned our shed where we keep the hay for the horses...



By the time we got home, the fire was out, they were just doing hot spots, nothing seriously burned except weeds and sage brush that we needed to clear away any way, and the most important thing... Nobody was hurt.

The stupid weather here got my flight canceled until tomorrow at 4:30 pm, didn't find out till I got to the airport this morning at 5 am. Was a little upset, but I can understand them wanting to be safe.
