While I'm on the subject of Christmas :P



I'd like to take the time to say that I feel so very lucky to live in the Southern Hemisphere :D



A White Christmas looks pretty and all, not to mention one of the first attributes that one associates with the holidays, I am quite happy with my super hot, sun filled summer Christmas :D.



There's nothing like having a BBQ outside or spending the day at the beach.

Eating way too much, taking, waking up hungry for seconds and being handed a nice cold beer.

There's one thing that really amazes me about the silly season...



As soon as December 1st hits, do you notice how people seem to be more willing to greet and talk to you?

Even if in reality you can't stand each other lol.



Maybe it's the whole "good will towards your fellow man" deal, but why is it that as soon as December 1st hits, everyone turns into some overly friendly and caring Christmas Elf, yet for the other 11 months of the year, they honestly don't want to know you?



The reason I noticed this is because I was observing my surroundings while out with friends and certain people, (who have always rubbed my core group the wrong way) seemed to have a major attitude adjustment.



I mean they were acting as if we were best buds!?!?!?!?!?!



Well anyway, they spread their Xmas cheer, said they enjoyed catching up with us all and that we should all really keep in touch....

I don't know, maybe I'm just a Christmas Grinch type of person, but I don't see how people can change for a whole month then go back to be she devils for the next 11 LOL
