always fun - for me it's a memory game, on pronuncation, vocabulary and syntax :-)

I bought some language CDs from the local computer store: Spanish, French and Japanese..... I've already learnt 1st year French and Japanese at university, so I wanted to refresh my memory.... give my mind something else to do besides absorbing IT fault finding techiniques for work!

Spanish is supposed to be the easy language to learn - so it's going to be wait and see

(not that I'm condoning this sort of behaviour, but....)

needed to drive to the airport - I'm amazed at how boring driving a car is compared to the bike

the driver training scheme here requires a learner to log at least 50 hours of on the road experience before progressing to a "provisional" (intermediate) licence - so this little journey will add some serious time to the logbook

Part of me is about what I've learned in formal study, and how I've used that knowledge for various job choices - so one part of me is keen on learning...



but life is more than learning - since life will throw you curve balls, and you'll have to stretch yourself to pull through those times. so another part of me is about the life i've lived so far, and the patterns of behaviour that I've used to get me where I am now
