What is the true aims of Meditation or Yoga?... - Venum Stings
Well, being Meditator it is most difficult to narrate the true aims of meditation if we look on minute-minute experiences of meditation in self healing and psycho-spiritual context.
It is done for exploring the self and nature at higher level, too is true. The meditation is really aimed to control the Prana (essence of life, the energy flow which initiated by movement of air through breathe). This involves later consciousness and subconscious attaining the flow of energy through nostrils.
Normally breathe in through left nostril, which take flow of energy down and to deep parts of the body to which breathe in flown felt to reach those part, and along with those feeling the energy is flown is called Ida (the pipes of taking feeling of breathe in through left nostril to the parts are called Ida). At the same time the breathe out from same source to out from right side nostril is called Pingala (those pipes are called Pingala).
These pipes Ida and Pingala are different channels of breathe as well as energy as well as Prana (coz Prana too is flown through feeling and feelings are energy flown by senses).
You may think that always one of these nostril is stuck up and difficult to do such breathe base meditation. But if any nostril is blocked and stuck up, no matter, it opens even when it is blocked, when sat to do this meditation after few minutes say it is 5 or 10 or 20 minutes the blocked nostril is opened and breateh flows using both nostril by just wishes and try of using one nostril for in and other nostril for out. These two nerve pipes always parallel fled deep inside the body through the psychic chakras and repetition of this moving breathe in and out and along with this feeling energy went through chakras takes meditator to higher level of consciousness,
And that time person feel its feeling of prana flowing through different third pipe which is parallel to these two pipes of nerve tree. This different pipe is called Sushmana. It opens when the flow in and out of breathe regulated & you will feel that stage like the breateh in and out serenly uses both ida and pingala and both nostrils are opened for one for in and other for out. and sushmana regulate energy and prana through psychic chakras. Awaking of this third pipes is the higher level of conscious attaining the meditation and in this level of meditation the chakras gain power and awakens through energy and prana.
Exactly this opens the causal effects of the prana and energy. The healing or psycho-spiritual is done at this level only. And this level is the base exercise for Kundalini exercise. But many minute-minute exercises do help in doing kundalini exercise… coz kundalini exercise is the cause of opening river of the Energy of Cosmos the pure energy which lead to beings take birth and the energy which regulates all energies in the world.
Meaning of Kundalini: Kundal means the space or the place where the light or energy is kept or the spot of shine. Kundalini means the energy which stay in that space and regulate that shine or energy from that spot. You can say that kundalini energy is the regulator of all known energies.
Second meaning is Kundali means form the live energy staying in the space (in the form of intestine or snake). The frm is kundali and the energy is kundalini and when the energy rises, it rises in the shape and form of fastest river from top of mountain to the valleys.
Where from it rise? It rise from the psychic chakra where it open the flows, what that chakra will be, it will be the lowest chakra in our body when we are in sitting form the base chakra is the lowest there only the kundalini rises.
How it is rises.. by continuous up and down of energy prana through Ida and pingala and sushmana, the all chakras get awaken and giving additional power to prana and energy to catalyst effort to awaken kundalini.
So my dear breathing is the best tool to lead successful meditation and to get self at higher level may it be through center focal point exercises or may it be through meditation.
Yoga is Super Consciousness
It has been observed that there are, mainly, four types of consciousness. All men, in this world, without any exception, belong to one category or the other out of these. The first among these, which is common to almost all, is the gross-consciousness. This means the same thing as 'body-consciousness'. The example of an actor can be cited to clarify this. He plays his allotted role on the drama stage. For instance, if an actress is called upon to act as Indira Gandhi, she may use a mask to look like Indira Gandhi to the spectators. However, in her mind, she is not oblivious of the fact that, in reality, she is not Indira Gandhi, but only her mask makes her appear like the latter. The folly of man, however, is that, playing his parts on this World Drama-stage, he has come to identify himself with the gross body, instead of realising that he is a soul and the body is just like his outer garment.
Some people wrongly identify the self, the conscient soul, with the body and brain, which is merely like a computer. Intellectuals, scientists and the like in their research work, concentrate their minds on abstract ideas. At that time, they are not conscious of their gross body, and so they forget about their bodily relatives, their homes and their bodily needs. Yet the ideas with which their mind is occupied are connected directly or indirectly with the objects of this gross world and have something to do with the body. This may be called 'the intellectual consciousness'.
Other people, when engaged in their spiritual efforts, are conscious of subtle deities or the progenitors of their religion in their subtle form. During those hours of devotion, they are a little above gross-consciousness, and they feel elevated and uplifted. This may be called 'the subtle consciousness'. These devotees may not be conscious of their own gross body or of the person they worship, yet their mind has the consciousness of the subtle body of those whom they worship.
The ultimate highest type of consciousness, which a yogi in the real sense of the term attains to, is the super-consciousness, and one's mind is turned to the Supreme Soul who is Incorporeal. This is what is known, in one word as Yoga. A Yogi is conscious of himself as a soul and of God as the Supreme Soul. Just as we chop off the insulating material from wires in order to join them, we have to withdraw from our body in order to establish a link with God.
