In the spring of 2011, I was invited, by my publisher to attend a Pitchfest in Los Angeles, California in July. It was an exclusive event; only 150 authors were able to attend and it was the first time that a publishing house had brought its authors directly to Los Angeles and put them in front of executives from Hollywood.
In July of 2011, I attended that event and I was instructed by Robert Kosberg on the finer points of pitching my idea to Hollywood. I then pitched my story to a group of execs that he and actor Marcus Chait brought along with them. Most of them felt that Vampyre 2000 would best be adapted to an independent film. While two of them thought it would be better served as a studio feature film. One of those production companies from Hollywood requested my books and my information from the publisher.
Immediately after pitching my ideas to those execs, I was sat down in front of the lights and cameras and I was interviewed by professional videographers about several aspects and experiences I had while writing my books. It took them a year to make these videos available to me. Below are the interview questions that I was asked. I have put them all on the website, in no particular order. Please enjoy them, but more importantly, please enjoy the books. Book Three - Vampyre 2000: No Rest for the Wicked will be available in January of 2013.
