It all started with a dark night. Sondra was walking home from a babysitting job. Then, she got the feeling she was being followed. She spun around, and three men were walking three paces back. But, as she started walking again, they sprinted toward her. They were faster and stronger. One slammed her to the stone road, pinning her arms and legs. But, just as quickly as the weight had been crushing her, it was gone. She opened her eyes to see a forth body there. only the forth man was sitting up, hunched over the rest.Suddenly, a loud snap filled the silence. Sondra gasped, and the new one's head spun around. "Oh" he whispered, and he was suddenly next to her. He was just as perfect as the dream. Now louder, but still a little quiet, he spoke again, "I thought they killed you! Thank the stars I was wrong!" Suddenly, he hugged her frozen body, and she hugged him back with just as much force, fighting tears. Because now, she knew exactly who this was. He was first to pull away, but still gripped her trembling shoulders. "Come" He said, staring into her eyes, "We must get you warmer. Who do you live with?" When I spoke, I hardly recognized the happiness in my voice. "Just me. My home is at the top of the hill, but i'm not sure if I can stand! OW! My ankle!!" He just smiled and said, "No problem. I can run faster, anyways!" Then, he lifted her, not jerking around the slightest bit and took off up the hill. There, in his arms, I felt safe. The best i've felt in a long time. In my house, he wrapped my ankle. "Ok"' he announced, "That should do for tonight, and tomorrow i'll take you for x- rays, but what do you want to do now?" I just smiled, and said, "Well, i'm still a little cold... and we could go in the hot tub. we have alot of catching up to do!" Then it was his turn to get excited "Ok! Meet me out there!" Then with a swift kiss that made my heart leap out of my chest, he jogged towards the door. I just held back a laugh and went to my room to change. Of course, I grabbed my turquoise bikini. There was absolutely no reason to be shy with Chris. Though I only met him face- to- face a half hour ago, we've met before. When changed, I went downstairs and out the back door. It must have been close to midnight now, but I didn't care. The moon was full, bright, and warm. I ran as fast as possible on my ankle down the stairs and around and under the deck. Chris was already in, arms propped up behind him. He laughed when he noticed my hurry and gently reminded me, "Love, we still have all of eternity" I only paused for a second, then threw my towel to the ground and climbed in. He held his arms open and I swam onto his lap, facing him with my knees on either side. We talked for a while. He told me about his family. After a while, I grew tired and slid to the side, his arms still around my neck. I quickly fell asleep there, against him. We stayed there for the rest of the night.
