Well... I have lost 22 lbs since the start of the Lap-Band process. I have a lot more to go but so far I am really excited.



I have a lot of hard work ahead of me but the end result will be worth it.

Well.... I had the Lap-Band surgery done on the 11th of May and everything so far is so good.



I was in a lot of pain on Tuesday and Wednesday with it subsiding Thursday and some of Friday. I am back to work today (Monday, May 17th) since I don't have a hard job... but man the phone can get really heavy.



I have been told by family and friends that I have already started losing weight.



I am really thankful for all of my family and friends for the support that they have given me and continue to give me.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of my brother Jeremy's death. It also happens to be my other brother Darren's birthday.



It has been a good and bad day today because of this. Good because we celebrated Darren's birth and bad because we remember Jeremy when he was with us.



It was also a good day because all of us went to church as a family not including Jeremy's wife and daughter since they live in another state. We all cried and my dad had to step out a couple of times since he was in the churches small group and could sing at the time. It is really embarrassing to sit in the front pew and have all of us crying and red eyed with noses running.



All in all things were okay. Next Saturday we are getting together again to clean the 2 mile stretch of highway that we adopted on behalf of my brother. It is 2 miles East and then back 2 miles West. That in itself will make for a long day but it was what he loved.



I miss you Jeremy and Happy Birthday Darren.
