Just as I figured it would happen. The band announced that they were postponing the tour yet again. Once rescheduled, it would be the 4th date. It's pretty fucked up that the tour started in Cali on October 2nd and people had bought airfare and booked lodging and had their time planned out while they were there. Now they are scrambling to try and get refunds. That goes for other cities as well since they play in limited cities. They need to cancel the tour so people can get a refund as I see people having to fight for their money since it is just postponed. Well, I called the AXS ticketing agency today and garnered myself a refund. So done.
I swear it took me longer to get the damn bra pads of my tankini top straightened out than it did to cut the grass.... LOL
Well, we contacted the credit card company and they would have disputed and refunded the charge if it was not 2 years old!!! No- go from the ticketing agent either. I did find out that after the reschedule in April for the October date there was a small window for refunds. Of course, they do not advertise that. I got involved in some conversations and a private group and it seems the group admin is in the know and says to watch this space for an update. At this point I just want the band to say YES the show is happening so I can book lodging without the worry of trying to cancel and get fees for canceling. Or, they can say rescheduling and announce new dates when it is worked out, I will be jumping on the refund. The last 2 times of rescheduling it was getting too close for comfort. I will never deal with this band again after the way they have handled this. Since their dates/cities are limited people travel to see them and I saw some waiting to book airfare for the show they have tickets for. Shameful.
I bought tickets for a show in October of 2019 in Detroit. The show was scheduled for April of 2020. Of course with covid raging it got canceled and rescheduled for April of 2021, only to get bumped to October 8th 2021. Each time they did a reschedule, they waited until the last minute. The ticketing agency has never offered any refunds for any of it due to getting rescheduled and of course, they want to keep their $$$ as tickets were not cheap. The band is coming from over the pond somewhere and travel with many musicians. I have listed my tix on the event page but a lot of people try and rip people off so it is a tough sell. I am on the fence about disputing the charges knowing they waited til the last minute each time to reschedule. You need proof of vax, which I have, but at this point, I am over it. And now I have two pups that would need to be boarded. To make it worth my while for a five-hour drive, I would have to do 2 days up there to enjoy myself.

Yikes, they never offered any type of concession for it? I am so sorry, that's just shitty customer service. Especially to their fans.
Personally, if it was more than a hassle to go (especially with boarding and the drive, the stay, etc), I would probably call the agency who sold you the tickets and ask for a refund. It's one of those things where the tickets were for two years ago, essentially, and things have changed in that time frame and they should be understanding over that. COVID threw a wrench in a lot of things, but I know out where I am, they can refund you- they just don't "offer" it as then everyone would want it and they lose revenue and such, but if a customer calls and asks, they oblige.
I am leaning on the disputing first. Our credit card company is excellent. And if they say it is hard to do at this point, I will contact the ticketing agency. I am not 100% opposed to going, but my heart is not in it anymore. Thanks for your input.
