The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Sometimes days seem just too perfect! Not that I consider myself to have bad days, but some are just outstanding! This weekend was one of those times! Friday, kind of spur of the moment I decided to head up to Chicago…not that it is a far drive for me. I got to the north side in 50 minutes… hitting goth central as far as shopping goes. :D My main goal was to hit a store called The Alley. They have been around for as long as I can remember. I have bought body jewelry there for some of my hidden piercings and needed something new for my naval as it seems that stainless is now an irritant after I have had that piercing for over 20 years! I am blaming hormones…lol So I hit that store then just walked all over the place in the area. Hit the Army/Navy store and was tempted to buy a pair of New Rock shoes. I may go back there and get them…lol It was perfect out for a November. Grabbed a sub for lunch and then headed over to the west side to meet up with a friend for dinner. He ended up called into work so I went there and hung out and had a couple of brews. He had brought me back a pint of beer from Cali that I cannot get here, from his recent trip there. YUM! Saturday it was damn near 70, so I got out in the yard and cut a bunch of dead plants down and it felt awesome to just be outside a second day in a row. Splurged on some pizza for dinner. Sunday went to an animal benefit for a local shelter and ran some errands. A storm moved in quick and there were tornadoes, hail and high winds. Luckily I just had the high winds. Many were without power and may still be. Today, 30 degree drop in temperature!!! Brrrrr! But an awesome weekend it was.
