Am I the only one here that has felt they became good friends with someone and then felt like they were deserted by that person? I know my life has been more than hectic, but I always try to comment or like a post on fb or comment on journal posts for my friends here or pm them somewhere...

Yeah, it seems this happens to a lot of people I know, even myself. Well, as long as they desert you and not share your dirty little secrets on the web I guess its not too terrible... But it does hurt and takes time to repair the void that they left impacted on you. Hope you feel better soon

I feel the same sometimes. And you are certainly NOT one of the self-absorbed ones...lol

One of the reasons why I don't care for Facebook. I actually know most of the people on my friends' list, yet they are all to busy being 'busy' (usually yammering on and on about stuff, bragging about their money and material goods, etc).

I just think - thank God you aren't calling me or dropping by for a visit...lol
