I'm not sure when it happened, but yesterday I noticed that my toe ring was gone! I have been wearing it for the past 25 years and am clueless as to how it would have even come off! It kind of freaks me out! Only explanation, it was the shadow I see lurking about once in awhile.

I can honestly say I do not know many women would power wash and scrub soffit, fascia, j-channel and the siding to make it look, oh so nice! Plus I weeded and did some splitting of and transplanting of plants. Plus did weeding in other areas and stuff inside the house before that! I need a little TLC about now! LOL

I grew up fishing the waters of Lake Michigan for some very large fish so a chain of lakes a couple of hours from me is most definitely not a threat! LOL Today's total between 3 people that were keepers was 38. The largest fish was caught by me, a 16 inch bass. I was bottom fishing with a baby night crawler. I may have to pick this hobby back up!

following areas... in Illinois... Boone... Cook... De Kalb...

dupage... Kane... Kendall... Lake IL... McHenry... Ogle... will and

Winnebago. In Northwest Indiana... lake in and Porter.



* From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through late tonight.



* Thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall this afternoon and

tonight. Widespread rainfall of 2 to 3 inches is likely north of

a line from Sublette Illinois to Dunns Bridge Indiana. This

includes the Rockford and Chicago Metro areas as well as the

suburbs of these cities. Locally higher amounts of 4 to 5 inches

are possible across the watch area. There is the potential for

very high rainfall rates in some of the stronger storms. The

heavy rain will fall over highly urbanized areas of Rockford and

Chicago.

I feel indifferent about my day. Parts were nice and smooth, others were like a train crashing through a nicely laid out pattern of dominoes. But, some new lessons learned that will not be repeated, and I am surprised to say that for the occasion. I guess nothing should shock me anymore. Have a great weekend all!
