I said to myself, maybe I should get this double batch of Gyros together and in the oven before I run this stuff over to a neighbor that does wildlife rehab. Then I said, Nah, I will run it now, and then I can get to cooking without interruptions since I was moving into a double batch of Chikun of the Sea right after. GOOD decision!!!!

Officers report:: Earlier this afternoon Putnam County Deputies responded to a call of an accident with injuries at Heritage Lake. A preliminary investigation by Corporal Brian Helmer indicates that the two vehicles collided head when the driver of the Chevrolet Colorado lost control of his vehicle crossing the centerline at a high rate of speed. Miraculously only one of the driver's sustained minor injury. During the investigation the driver of the Colorado showed signs of alcohol impairment. Corporal Helmer administered field sobriety tests to the driver, too which he failed. A certified chemical test indicated that the driver was over 3 times the legal limit for intoxication.
As a result of his investigation, Corporal Helmer arrested 30 year old Bradley Dawson of Coatesville on charges of Felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He is being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond.
10,000!!! That's how many people die every year in this country due to intoxicated driving. It's one of the biggest killers in this country and yet one of the most preventable. There is NO excuse for driving while intoxicated. Our Deputies take great pride in removing drunk drivers from our roadways and placing them in Jail. We work hard to make the roads safer for motorists.
If you need another excuse not to drink and drive,,,,, just look at the last picture. Thank God there was no child inside the vehicle during that violent impact.

We cut the cord years ago. But every so often we pick up HBO for a few months like we did when GOT did their finale. Well, we picked it up for the new Matrix movie. Now to binge some new stuff. We started watching Barry. We like it and can compare it to a similar genre of Better Call Saul. Brutal killing, love, and a splash of comedy! Check it out.
