The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I have gotten a lot of stuff accomplished the past 2 days! Tore everything out of my basement storage closet and threw stuff out, cleaned it and put it back together, cleaned out the coat closet, vacuumed the basement and steam cleaned the carpets. Cleaned the bathroom down there. I just need to scrub the tile and wash walls. Got a good chunk of weeding done along the back edge of my yard. Got all of my deck pots prepped and ready for herb seeds. Moving right along....



And it was a gorgeous sunny day!!! I got some sun so maybe a bit red later...lol

Storm is getting closer and I have to run a couple of errands in it.



Making batch number two of hard cider today. I need to pick up some turbinado sugar for it.



Chemistry will consume,most of my day. Mead and cam later I am thinking.



At least the temps are warm.

After class today I stopped at one of the local wineries to pick up some ale yeast since they sell brewing and wine making supplies. Plus it had been awhile since I had been in there. Lo and behold, they now make a mead. I grabbed a bottle before I even got a chance to sample it...lol It was good! I may have to crack it open later after I am done studying.

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful outside. I jumped back and forth doing cleaning, homework and a couple small outside things. Come afternoon time I jumped on my bike for my first ride of the season. I thought I would wake up sore, but feel pretty good. Sucks that it is suppose to rain every day this week now. Maybe I can get a short ride in today though after class if it has not started raining.

Working on my grain bill for my brew day this weekend. On top of making my IPA, I am going to make Apfelwein, which is a German hard cider that is super cheap and easy to make and ends up being 8.5% abv which is awesome! One of my besties lived in Germany for years and said it is really good. It is dry compared to the commercial hard ciders that are out there.
