As I layed in the bed dreaming about the future all of a sudden a dark figure with no face came up to me and wrapped it's hands around my neck. It felt like the life was being sucked out of me and I couldn't even use any of my vampire powers to help me through this pain. I was being choked again. I woke up in an instance and screamed. I was back in the bedroom again. Back to my mortal self.
"Wow scream much Tintanya?"
"Oh Tentsa it's you. UNCIL!!!" I hurried up and wrapped my arms around him and put my head into his should like I used to. Tentsa sat at the bottom of the bed and held me.
"What's wrong? I heard you needed me."
"Uncil something isn't right. And I need to tell you the truth about Alexander. I don't know how to tell Munamey either. But I'm scared."
"Now Tintanya I've never seen you like this. You must tell me what is wrong."
I pulled myself into a sitting position on the bed and looked at Tentsa.
"I'm not sure. Last night and just now during my nap I dreamed that someone was trying to kill me. I couldn't breathe and it felt like my life was being sucked right out of me."
"Hmmm?? That's strange. Does your mother know about this yet?"
"No. She only knows that I wasn't in the mood to make Jake mad and to deal with his crap today."
"Maybe we should have a family meeting tonight after she gets back from her date. And maybe you should also tell your mom about Alexander being a vampire."
I looked up and leaned away from Tentsa. I couldn't believe he knew. I never told him about Alexander being an immortal and I definitely know that Alexander didn't tell Tentsa either. "How did you know?"
"Don't forget I that I do watch you from time to time. And I was there on the night Alexander told you. I just wish your mother would've catched on but you need to tell her."
"See you really need to tell me when you are watching me and stuff like that. Especially when it comes to stuff like this."
"Sorry love. But I want to protect you."
"I know. We must be getting down stairs. It's almost 10. Mom and Taylor will be getting back soon and I have to get Alexander and I ready. Wait. Does Munamey know you are here?"
"No not yet."
"Tinsetta?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Well is Tinsetta coming to visit soon and do you have nice clothes to wear tonight?"
"He says he'll be visiting tomorrow or the day after. What? this isn't nice?"
"It is. It's just. Never mind. You can wear it. Cool. Just don't kill each other when he does come. Please. Munamey and I are tired of cleaning up the messes every time you two are near each other. I know it's been awhile since you've two have fought but still. Please don't."
"Fine with me. I don't want to disappoint you or make you upset. Here I'll walk you down the steps."
"Okay."
Tentsa and I both stood up off the bed and continued down stairs. I felt myself again. Even though I have Alexander I knew something was missing and I just couldn't figure it out. Now I know that I need my whole family here. Tentsa, Nowel, Tinsetta, and now Alexander and Niles. But I knew Tentsa and Tinsetta can't always be around. They have to keep our Hermanian culture in order. Even though Nowel is the queen of the group but Tentsa and Tinsetta are more stern in the way things are set up. I looked over to Tentsa and smiled.
"What?"
"Nothing. Just glad to see you."
"That's good. We'll just see how happy your mom is to see me.''
"Mhm."
Alexander was at the bottom of the steps, I guess waiting for me to wake up and come down.
"Alexander." Alexander didn't move. Now that I was down the steps and standing in front of him I could see that he was thinking and he was not even in the same state of mind to realize I was standing in front of him. I put my hands on his face and looked straight into his eyes. "Hey, snap out of it. I'm awake."
"Oh Love. Sorry. When did you come down?"
"Just a few seconds ago. What are you thinking about?"
Alexander looked at Tentsa and I knew he was thinking about me wanting to tell them.
"He knows."
"You do?"
"Yes Alexander. Sorry. I've known for a few months now."
"Oh. Um. That's fine." Alexander looked back at me. "Does Nowel know?"
"No. Only Tentsa. But we are having a family meeting and she's going to have to find out about it."
"OKay. That's fine. We must get ready soon."
"That is why I came down. I came down to get you. I have my dress picked out already."
"Perfect. Lets go get ready."
"Okay. Tentsa can you go make sure there's a vase on the tables with roses in it and that there is a vase on a table that is still empty. Taylor got mom flowers and I want to the flowers in the empty vase. That's going to be their table."
"I can do that. Go get ready."
"Yes sir."
Alexander took my hand and led me back upstairs. These stairs going to make me do work outs on them for how much I go up and down them. Atleast I'll stay fit and in shape. Once we got back up to the room Alexander shut and locked the door.
"Why did you lock it? Tentsa won't come up"
"I know but I wanted to do this for a little bit." Alexander came over to me and layed me back down onto the bed and gently started kissing me. He put a hand in my hair and the other on my right leg and started rubbing my leg. I wrapped both of my arms around his neck and opened my mouth more and let him take total control over my body. This kiss was filled with desire. I took off Alexander's shirt and revealed his 6-pack abs as he removed my shirt.
"Selene."
"Mmm?"
"We have to get ready."
"No we don't."
Alexander took his hands off of me and rolled onto his back. "Yeah we do. We aren't married yet and your uncle is down stairs. It's kind of awkward."
"But." I sighed. "Fine."
I got up and went to the closet to pull out my knee length black dress and grabbed my black flat shoes while Alexander got into his wardrobe and grabbed out a pair of black pants, a black shirt, and his cape which had a blood red heartagram on the back of it. I loved it.
"You and Tentsa are going to be matching."
"Heh. I guess we are. But my cape is way better."
"Yeah you won that one."
"I know. Are you going to need help with that dress?"
"Hm? Yeah with the zipper." I slipped the dress on and Alexander walked over and zipped up my zipper. I turned around and he was staring at me.
"What?"
"Nothing. You look dashing."
"Thanks. Now you get dressed. I'm wearing your cape till Nowel and Taylor get back though."
"Fine with me. But I must ask. Why?"
"Because I want Tentsa to be jealous and plus I love the way you smell."
"Okay. Here." Alexander tossed me his cape and slipped it on and smelled the inside. It smelled so good. It was a smell I couldn't describe. But I couldn't resist his smell. Vampire or not. This smell always took me to a different state of mind, LaLa land.
Alexander took off his pants from before and pulled on his new pair of pants, and he pulled his shirt over his head and stared at me again. I ignored it and went back to smelling is cape. Alexander put on a pair of socks and his shoes. When he was done getting dressed he walked over to the bed and picked me up, and cradled me in his arms.
"You are really enjoying the smell, aren't you?"
"Mhm. But I love this doing this better." I lifted my head and put my lips on his neck. I started kissing his neck as we walked down the steps. I felt his arms tighten around me and I knew I was turning him on. I lifted my head and grinned at him.
"Why did you stop?"
"Cause I want to smell more of you." I bent my head back down into the cape and smelled. Next thing I knew Alexander was kissing my ear and nippling on my neck. I started to laugh and I could hear Tentsa down stairs talking to somebody. I tried to get Alexander to stop but I couldn't. I was enjoying it too much.
"Hey you two becareful. Hold on Tinsetta, Tintanya is going to want to talk to you." Tentsa laughed at us and grinned at me. He knew I was happy. "Selene, Tinsetta is on the phone."
"Oh. Let me talk." I screamed and Tentsa handed me his phone while Alexander gently stood me up on the floor.
"Tinsetta?!"
"Ella Tintanya. How are you?"
"I'm excelent now. When are you coming?"
"Tomorrow morning. I'll be there before you wake up for school."
"Okay. But I'm not going tomorrorw. Not feeling well."
"Oh. Um. Okay. I'll be there though. And Tentsa already told me about fighting. Don't worry. Just please tell me I don't have to share a room with him."
"Thank you. No you don't. There is enough rooms here for everyone to have their own room. You're getting my old room and Tentsa is getting his own. Nanokou(Nowel) already has her own."
"You already have this planned out."
"Yep. But I have to go. I have to go finish setting things up for the dinner tonight. I'll see you tomorrow."
"OKay. Talk to you tomorrow Tintanya."
I hung up with Tinsetta and gave Tentsa back his phone. After I gave Tentsa his phone I went back over to Alexander's arms and put my head on his chest and closed my eyes.
"Tintanya? Remember you have company."
"Yeah I know. But it's only you. I can cuddle all I want."
"No. Not just me. 3...2...1..." Tentsa pointed to the door and it opened.
I handed the cape to Alexander cause I promised him. Nowel and taylor walked through the door giggling and laughing, their arms wrapped around each other.
"Hey you two, how was the movie?"
"Hey, I thought I told you not to wait up?"
"Yeah but you guys have to eat dinner. Follow me."
"By the way Selene the movie was good. Didn't get to watch much of it but it was good." Taylor finally answered me.
Obviously Nowel didn't realize Tentsa standing behind the door or else she would've said something. Same with Taylor. So I turned around and waved Tentsa to tag along. And he followed behind the group. I led everyone outside onto the balcony where the tables were set up and music was lightly playing. I grabbed Nowel's roses off of her and told them to follow me to their table and placed the roses in the vase that sat upon their table. Tentsa came up behind me and then thats when Nowel saw him.
"Tentsa Tearama Tenaga! What in the world are you doing here? When did you get here?"
"Aren't you glad to see me?"
"Yeah. But answer my questions."
"Alexander called me for Selene saying she wanted me to come over and talk. And I got here about an hour ago. Tinsetta is coming tomorrow morning."
"Thats wonderful." Nowel stood up and gave Tentsa a hug and then sat back down in her chair. "Taylor this Tentsa. He's my brother. Tentsa this is Taylor."
"Pleasure to make your aquaintence Taylor." They shook each other's hand.
"Same here. Please join us for dinner."
"I will. Thank you. I'll sit with Selene and Alexander though."
We walked away from Taylor and Nowel and headed to our table where there was a small little box sitting on one of the plates marked with my name. There were roses in the middle of the table with a candle. Then in addition to the table was a single rose laying beside the little box on the plate. Alexander sat me down. Tentsa sat at the seat across from me and then Alexander took the one glass and clinged a fork against the glass.
"Attention!" Alexander looked around. Niles came out with the food and set them on the tables and Alexander continued.
"Alexander what are you doing?" Alexander grabbed the small little box, got down on one knee and looked at me. I put my hands over my mouth and tears began to gather in my eyes.
"Taylor and Nowel, now I don't mean to steal your thunder but this moment is just too perfect for me to pass it up."
"Go ahead Alexander it's fine." Nowel nodded and tears began to fall down her face.
Alexander looked back at me and started to speak. "Selene, ever since the moment I met you I knew that I wanted to be with you forever. I knew that I wanted to make you mine. I've loved you since the first time I saw you trying to break into my house. I fell inlove with you. And this me making you mine forever. Selene will you please do me an extordinary favor and marry me?"
I looked over at Tentsa and I could see in his eye that he approved of him. I didn't have to look over to Nowel to know what she was thinking. I could tell she approved him. "Yes. Yes Alexander." The tears fell down and my make-up started to run. Alexander opened the box, took out the ring, and slid the ring onto my ring finger. I leaned down and kissed him as he picked me up. Everyone started clapping and I knew I was going to get my wish soon. Now I have to go through the family meeting, and then discuss the wedding. How fun? I can't believe this is all really happening. After Alexander put me back down Nowel and Tentsa were there right next me again hugging me and congratulating me.
"Our little Tintanya is getting married Tentsa."
"I'm not little."
"You'll always be little to us. Now sit down and enjoy your guys' dinner."
Nowel went back over to her table and I sat back down in my seat. I held onto Alexander's hand not wanting to let it go.
"What's wrong love?" Alexander looked at me.
"I just don't want to let go."
"Okay." I scooted over to Alexanders lap and kissed his cheek and pulled my plate over next to his, and began to eat with everyone else. Steaks, Potatoes, corn, and red wine for dinner. Niles did a wonderful job. According to what I was hear from Nowel's table, Taylor was spending the night.
I hurried and finished my dinner and waited for the others to finish. Alexander was shocked to how fast I finished. I could see it in his eyes.
"You have to be part of the family meeting now."
"Okay." Alexander looked at Tentsa and he nodded. Nowel didn't exactly know about the family meeting yet. I was getting nervous. Nowel finding out about Alexander being a vampire and Alexander knowing more of my other life. I just hope the meeting doesn't take very long. I want time to just me and Alexander. Tonight I'll be able to stay up all night then sleep in the daylight tomorrow with Alexander. But Tinsetta is going to be here. Hmm?? So I must be up early enough for when Nowel gets ready for school and to see Tinsetta for a little bit before I go back to sleep. I couldn't even concentrate.
"Are you done yet? No rush if you aren't." I questioned Alexander.
"I can be. Why?''
"I want dessert and to talk before the meeting."
"Tintanya we can always have the meeting tomorrow after Nanokou gets back from school."
"No. It can happen tonight. And tomorrow we can fill Tinsetta in. I want the meeting done tonight so I can sleep in peace. Plus the sooner she knows about Alexander the better. And I also need to tell you guys something else to go along with the meeting. I'm just nervous to say it right now and I need to talk to Alexander about it."
"Okay calm down. Don't throw yourself into a panic attack."
"Yes sir. Niles can you bring out mine and Alexander's dessert, please?"
"Yes Miss Selene." Niles walked back into through the kitchen door and was back outside within 5 minutes. Niles brought me and Alexander each a banana split. I hurried and munched mine down. I waited for Alexander to finish.
Finally after waiting 10 minutes Alexander finished his desert. I complimented Niles on how good the dinner was and asked everyone to be excused then grabbed Alexander and walked up to our room. Once inside I hurried and pulled Alexander to m e and leaned against the door and it slammed shut. I pulled Alexander's face to mine and began kissing him.
"Mm what is that for?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I had to thank you and I couldn't do it infront of them. Plus I need to talk to you."
"I see. About what?" Alexander led me to the bed and we both sat down.
"Tonight at the family meeting. I'm going to have to tell Nowel(Nanokou) about what you really are. And I'm going to have to tell her AND Tentsa about me wanting to be part of your world. I have a feeling they'll have a problem with it at first but I know they won't disown me. I know that much. I just don't know how to tell them. But if you think about it, Tentsa is like a vampire in his own ways. I'm already partially there and Nowel well, she's like Tentsa but likes to hang out during the day and night both. I just don't know what to do." I leaned my head on his shoulder.
"Love, I'm not stopping you from becoming like me but you don't have to go through this if you change your mind. I will love you no matter what."
"Well I'm not changing my mind. I'm going to become a vampire just like you. I just don't know how to tell them in a nice calming way."
"You'll figure it out. I believe in you."
"I know you do." I cuddled up with Alexander on his lap.
Alexander kissed my neck and I let out a small moan. I could feel his fangs against the skin on my neck. "Alexander? How much pain will I be in when you turn me?"
"Mmm, it'll be for a few days but you won't realize it has been that long. Once my venom hits your blood, you'll black out and it'll feel like you are on fire. Me? I was born this way. Then once I hit the age of 18 I stayed that age. I've been like this for 209 years. So really I'm 227 years old."
"You'll be there when I wake up, right?"
"I'll be every second of it."
"I love you."
"I love you too." He went back to kissing my neck.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Come in."
