I am going to attempt to make some homemade stuffed animals. I found some free patterns on the net and I am going to give it a try. I will post a few pics as soon as I get it done.

I am having a good day. I feel really good about myself. I have donated $20 worth of school supplies to a local charity here in my community. Apparently, we have over 600 children in need of school supplies and clothes for this school year. Then when I got to work, I had found a bunch of pencil pouches with pencils, erasers and small rulers inside of them. I asked my boss if I could have them to donate to the local charities for the children and he said yes. So I am dividing them up and going to donate them tomorrow before I come into work.



It makes me feel good to be able to help those who need it most, the children.



I have also donated a bunch of my daughters gently worn clothes, bottles and crib sheets to the local Crisis Nursery.

I have killed my laptop. Over this past weekend I deleted several items on it that I no longer used. I also moved a bunch of files and pictures to discs. I was trying to gain more memory.



Well today I went to get on it and Windows would not start due to a file missing, system 32hal.dll. I am pissed. It is possible I have lost everything on there. Because I don't have any of the Windows discs for this contraption. I bought it through Dell four years ago.



I think I need to buy a new one and cut my losses.



I hate modern technology sometimes. It is great when it works. UGH!!!!

I have always wondered why gay and lesbian people feel the need they have to shout it out, that they are gay and lesbian?



Just curious. I don't have anything against them.

Went to the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago over the weekend. I must say I was not that impressed with that zoo. Everything was kinda spaced far apart. Plus it was really hot. They only had like one animal of each.



The best of the visit, was seeing the face of my two year when we went to the Dinosaur exhibit. They had about 15 animatronic dinos. They roared and moved, and you could push buttons to do it, too. It was great. She really likes the Jurassic Park movies. All she could say was, look saurs mommy.
