This was definitely not the best Christmas.
My little was sick and really didn't get to enjoy the holiday. She liked her presents and got to play with her cousins. But she just wasn't herself.
Now I have gotten what she has. Oh the joys of the holiday season. I hope she gets feeling better soon. I do not like having a sick baby.
150 Christmas Cards sent on there way
20 dozen cookies cooling on the counter
5 batches of fudge hardening
1 tired baker!
Well my poor little munchkin is sick again. I thought it was just a head cold, but I think she may have a small version of the flu. She was all stuffy and congested, thus the head cold. Then she started complaining her head hurt and running a fever.
She slept horribly last night. Tossing and turning and having a hard time breathing. I tried vicks on her chest and had the vaporizer going, but it didn't seem to help. Her fever spiked to 102 during the night.
I had to go to work this morning, so my mom is babysitting. I called to check on her and mom said she thinks the fever has broken. Said that Cheyenne has been playing and acting normal, but she is still stuffed up.
The doctors told me that when she got RSV at the beginning of the year it would take a toll on her immune system. Boy they weren't kidding. Now that she is in preschool, it seems like she gets sick more often and faster than she ever did.
The wonderful joys of sending our children to the school systems.
Going to store to stock up on kleenex, tylenol, motrin, vapor rub and pop sicles.
Missing my friends!!
