I am doing good so far. I have sold over $100 in candles and scrubs. I am pretty happy about that. I am getting my name out there.



Can't wait to be able to order more scents for fall and winter.



I think I am going to make up little baskets for the holiday season and sell them on Etsy and a few craft shows around the area.

I thought that by switching shifts, I would get to see my daughter more often. But I think I was wrong. Two nights of third shift sucks. I am so tired and feel like I have not gotten any sleep.



Preschool starts the first of September. I hope I can get my body to adjust.



She will only go for two days, for 2 1/2 hours. So maybe I can take a nap while she is at school and feel a little refreshed.

Changing shifts can be hard, it puts your body in a un balanced state, try and rest when you can, in time your body will get use to it..

We have two new guys at work. One f them is really cool and understanding. He grasped things here at work really quickly. The other guy, he is an ass. Granted he is an older generation guy, but still. They both got three weeks of training with the Lead Operator. Plus I wrote an Operator's guide. (Which I did not have to do, I did it out of the kindness of my heart.) We don't have much to deal with when it comes to a computer. Just move the mouse, click on a button and change the numbers, either higher or lower. It is not that hard. Our job is very critical, if we have a mishap, it could be a hazard. I work for a water treatment plant that provides for 20,000 + people.



Last Tuesday, I came in and the older new guy had messed up the computer and some how managed to delete our trends screen. Which is kind important. I came in and asked him what he did. He yells at me and tells me that he didn't do anything and that he told that he was not computer smart when he started this job. My response was, everything you need to know is in that little book I wrote up. His response was, well I didn't see it in there or I didn't understand it. Okay, I printed off screen prints of what each screen looks like when you get to it,, highlighted the areas where you change the numbers, typed it all out in black and white for him.



Here is my deal, if you can't read the literature and comprehend after being here for a month, I think it is time to find a new job.



Then he got snotty with me again on this past Monday morning. I have not told my boss yet that he yelled at me, because him and my boss are buddies, but one more out burst and I am dropping the hammer. I have been here for 5 years and I like my job. I don't want some asinine idiot coming in here and fucking things up.



He should be a man, and admit that he can not handle the job. The last couple of times I have come in after him, he has been sitting in the chair talking on his cell phone. That is low and pathetic.
