When I saw you in the dead of night,

There was a peace in the air,

and it felt so right.

Just like the first time.

Just like the first time.



And when I looked into your eyes,

The wave hollowed me out,

and brought me back to life.

Inside the moonlight,

My scars shimmered with pride the moment

I went blind.



And when I heard your voice, I fell

Into an in-between, where time stood still,

While i was dreaming.

The past spun into stone, and buried -

But now, I'm just a face in the crowd.

The hope falls silently down,

as the world flattens out.
