Why does it seem like when someone dies, you see the true colors come out from different family members? I have had more family drama than an episode of Family Feud and it all pertains to money. It just so happens that my aunt disowned me and my family just because the check we had coming in had to be cancelled. My dad told her this and all she could do is call him a liar and say it was going to paying the funeral. My dad has since refused to speak to her. Then yesterday she is constantly blowing up his phone and saying she had the number of the guy who can write out another check for him. My dad never responded to her messages. Today he called the insurance guy and asked about the check and to have it confirmed that it was sent to the wrong address and a new check will be coming in 2 weeks. Then tonight he gets a text from her basically disowning all of us and claiming that he could've shared the money with her and his 2 other sisters. You know completely disregarding that we have told her that the check went to the wrong address and would have to be redone. Though what raised a red flag for me was her changing her story from saying it was to pay for a funeral to them all getting a cut and more importantly what happened to her cut? Knowing her she probably kept the $2k for herself. Then again what do you really expect from a thieving individual who stole guns that didn't belong to her. The disownment doesn't bother me much considering I don't take kindly to someone insulting my 83 year old grandmother to my face when she did nothing wrong and not to mention was innocent when she went on ranting and raving about how we never went to help over a grandma's before she passed and didn't take in consideration that my dad works 12 hours everyday and my grandpa needed help because my grandmother couldn't take care of him on her own when he was battling lung cancer and could help when we could. Her ass sits in a chair all day for 6 hours taking phone calls at a run down automotive shop. Just proves how much she really knows my family, but in the end she and the rest of her dumbass family can kiss my ass!

As the days go by faster and faster it seems like anymore, I find it hard to believe that in two days this Wednesday, I will be 28 years of age. Normally I would be happy and excited that my birthday is coming, but this year is just the opposite. With everything that happened last month with three of my closest family members gone, I'm having a hard time trying to get excited about anything. Everything just depresses me. It also doesn't help that the holidays are just around the corner either and makes things a lot harder on me and my family. My grandpa's birthday is next week, he would've turned 85, while two days after his birthday would've been him and grandma's 67th wedding anniversary. Normally I would go out and do something for my birthday, whether it be with friends or family, but this year I've decided that not to celebrate it. I just don't feel like doing it. :/
