As of tonight I have made the start of what I'm going to hope is the beginning to a new start. I applied for a Geri-Aide position at a local nursing home here in town. With this position, I will be working and going through the training program to earn my CNA. So I will be paid to go back to school to get CNA certified. I am very excited about this. Granted I will be part time, but I know I can easily switch to full time later on. I'm looking forward to this next stage in my life. This is something I've been wanting to do for awhile now. I've been talking to my former assistant manger off and on today and he told me to go for it. He said he loved it when he was one and that I would enjoy it. He offered to be a reference for when I applied for it, which I did tonight. I told him today that last night it was made clear to me that I didn't think I would be moving up at my place of employment since Jill hired someone for a register shift and the one I was supposed to be getting. I've been at my store for 1 year and 12 days now and I have not moved out of my kitchen position and I'm supposed to be cross trained. I'm just tired of the not moving up. So here's to hoping for a fresh start and new changes.

Last night sucked ass. I dealt with the middle aged delivery guy getting into my face and screaming at me again. Another coworker took it upon herself to tell him that I was “spreading” rumors that he was stealing from the store. The delivery driver has been stealing and had been caught several times. It was brought up to the area supervisor who watched video and saw it for herself. He got in my face and confronted me. Like the last time I was very calm and I told him I wasn’t the only one who has said anything. He then proceeded to confront my cashier and kitchen manager. My cashier told him to back off and my kitchen manager was pissed off. The driver told me that I can either apologize for sullying his good name and go to each and every store employee and tell him he’s not a thief or he can call Jill the area supervisor. I told him go ahead and call Jill. I told Jeremy, “Why would I apologize for something he did?” “The day I apologize is the day I die.” He told me he would take care of things. I’m pretty sure it was his call to send the driver home early with the cover that Jill needed delivery information. We ended delivery an hour early. This crazy ass bastard clocked out and left to only go and sit in his car for almost an hour while on the phone and I’m pretty sure he was waiting on me to exit the store to have it out with me again. I texted my kitchen manager about it and he told me that he was contacting Jill about it. I get to work with the jack ass again tonight and it has my anxiety on edge.
