Chapter 1



Adora was young but many centries old looking for love in all the wrong places but has looked in every place and found no imortal soul to satisfy her lust for power love and money.



Adora had plenty of power and money but no one to share it with sheet would often walk the castle grounds at night looking for something that might point her in the right direction as too were her true love can be found, but often most Adora would just walk casually deep into the woods.



Tonight was a full moon, her favourite time of night where she could think, get fresh air other than the damp stale cold air of the castle.



Adora had all the luxuries but choose not to turn on the heater she prefered the coldness the dampness and often would go days without turning on the lights but she loved her spath bath and water bed and wouldnt give those up.



Walking deeper into the woods, Adora saw a light shining in the darkness and wondered what it was for she had never seen it before.



From the distance she was at she could only fainty make out what appear to be a glowing portal, but to where.



Nearing the portal she felt drawn to it but held back for fear of the unknow so instead picked up a rock and threw it into the portal, but nothing no thud sound could be heard.



Curious she stuck her hand in the glowing yellowish green potal to watch it disappear but quickly withdraw it as she felt a tingling sensation run up her arm a feeling that was unusal too her for she never felt anything except cold lonely darkness.



Then out of the corner of her eye she saw him, what appeared to be a man dressed in black and wondered straight away if this was her true love but it wasnt she noticed as the man in black removed his hood and she saw the most uglyiest person she had ever seen but he had power, power that matched her own.



But he just stood then i guess they were both awed of each others presence for both were very powerful and matched each other in power.



Suddenly feeling sleepy Adora laid down beside the portal and fell asleep only to suddenly awake and finding her self nowhere near the her castle.



Becoming frighten fearful which she never felt before she got to her feet to find her clothes had changed.



She wore black leather armor from head to foot and there was a long sword hanging from her belt on her right hip and a shortsword on her left hip also hanging from her belt and a shield attatched to her back on some sort of black leather strap.



Looking around as the wind suddenly picked up to brush her long black hair in her face and green eyes, Adora saw that she was in a meadow with a single stretch of dirt track that seemed to lead for miles.



Shrugging her shoulders Adora began walking to see where the trail would take her and not knowing where she was she took a brisk pace.



Feeling eyes watching her but seeing none Adora quicken her pace as the sky began to darken and dark clouds began to roll across the sky.



Looking up to sky Adora hoped that it would rain but it did it bucket down, quickly looking around Adora saw a single tree with huge branches and leaves



Hurring Adora quickly made it to the tree before it really stared to rain.



Watching the rain pelt the ground Adora felt safe under the tree and wondered for the first time if she ever find her way home.



Deciding to sit down Adora watched the rain and the clouds become thicker and thicker and darker and darker till it blocked out the sun.



While watching all this Adora became sleepy again so decided to take a nap under the tree and listen to the strange birds in the tree what she thought was birds anyway.





Chapter 2
