Still trying to figure out how to layer on photoshop. I almost got the shading to look almost transparent but the it doesn't quite look right. So frustrating. Matt does this incredible work and I can't get it to look right. Don't want to ask him because this is something I want to learn myself. Dave feels the same way. I need to do it myself. Besides when Matt explains it , it sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher, wa wa wa wa wa.

I'm waiting for you to show. Then 3 hours later you come and and you still aren't even close to 20. By the time you make it I won't even be here. There may not have internet in the senior home. HURRY UP ALREADY>

The HP game went well. Malfoy is back and plotting. Ruby's room was trashed and her dog , Jojo, had a spell put on him. No one messes with someone's dog. Revenge is coming.

Through all of this , Kelly and her mom made thank you cupcakes. She still had time to make a family collage on a poster. What a amazing family. I still have to pick up some more stuff for her. She lost everything in her bookbag so she needs her book log folder and word study folder. I think the school is collecting food for them. Next week the long sleeve uniform shirts come in so I'm getting her 2.

School was open. Six kids were out. We called Kelly's family. They need bookbags and school stuff. Sam and I are going to get stuff for her. She also needs her uniform blouses. So we spoke to the school. They will give Kelly her clothes and Sam and I will give the school the money. Tomorrow I will pick up socks, hat and scarve for her. Poor baby. No one should have to deal with it. And all the school pets died. Carlos took the fish and turtles out of the tanks with no pumps and put them in wading pools but with no heat, they died. So sad!

The school finally is ok to open. We got power and heat. Thank God. Poor parents without power probably were wondering what was going on. My father-in-law votes in the school. He had no idea where to go It's difficult when you don't speak English. No one to tell them what's happening. Meanwhile Bloomberg says the schools are open Not ours!

Still no power or heat in school. School is closed for kids until Wednesday. The staff doesn't report tomorrow. We have no idea about Tuesday, Election Day, if we have workshops. Thought we would relocate but with other schools having power problems in the area, the schools with the power can't handle hundred of extra kids.

Not looking forward to tomorrow. Not sure what we will be doing. Still no word on power in area and heat. Not looking forward to relocating to another school with kids and work for them to do while we sit in an auditorium all day.
