Yesterday was my birthday and I am now 21 years old. Bear is still sick but he did help me celebrate a little bit. I went to the gas station and got a six pack of Mike's hard strawberry lemonade (I like fruity stuff it tastes better to me). I only drank one because I work tonight and Bear had one in celebration of 21st even though he wasn't feeling good. Bear bought us some Indian food from a place we both enjoy. My birthday well, except I accidentally came about some bad news. I found out my Orange Baboon Tarantula, Galvantula, had passed away the day before my birthday. I went to grab a drink out of the mini fridge his tank sits on in our bedroom and I saw him in his death curl. Bear didn't want me to know until after my birthday because he wanted me to celebrate instead of crying and mourning my pet. I appreciate him for wanting to keep it from me so I wouldn't be upset on my birthday. Right now, Galvantula is pinned to a piece of cardboard in the living room drying out. Once he's dry we plan to glue him onto something and frame him. He was gorgeous old spider and I'll miss him.

Work last night was a bit much, but that's probably because I was put in a different department that had more stuff. The truck was the same size as the night before but I was put in hardware instead of electrical. And since I'm not all that familiar with hardware as I am with electrical it took me a minute to find some stuff. Also hardware has a lot more heavy lifting than electrical. In electrical you have ceiling fans, vanity lights and stuff like that but hardware has all the tools (saws, nail guns, etc.) which are a bit heavier and more awkward to carry. Also everything in hardware is locked up to prevent theft. Not only are you having to lift boxes of heavy power equipment but unlock the cages so you can put them away and all that takes time.

Bear missed out on work again last night. When he woke up and tried to talk he sounded like a 70 year old man that had been smoking for 50 years. It wasn't great. He's gonna try and go in tonight and see how much he can work but he may end up leaving early. We'll see how it goes though.

Work last night went fairly well. Our boss is back so I was able to get a ride home from her. My poor Bear is sick and didn't go in last night (he won't be going in tonight either). I'm worried about him though. The night before last he had a really bad cough he couldn't get rid of and when he woke up to call in yesterday he sounded awful. I woke him up just barely to see if he was going in (and to get bus money off of him if he wasn't) and he could barely talk. I hope he gets better soon, I would hate for him to lose more days of work. Especially since I'm not work on Friday due to requesting it off for my 21st birthday.

Didn't play Little Nightmares last night, bummer, but I did get to watch The Lion King with Bear while he played his game. I like watching Disney movies with him because we usually end up singing the songs together. I love our nights off because they're the nights we get to spend together as a couple with our pets. This week I will be getting three nights off since I requested Friday off for my birthday and I have my usual Sunday/Monday. Bear tried to request it off but he was too late. Bear told me my birthday present would be late because he won't be getting his paycheck until the day of my birthday. You see, I have direct deposit so I can get paid biweekly on Wednesdays, Bear has a pay card from our job so he gets paid biweekly but on Fridays. I told him I didn't care if my birthday present was late. I told him if he really wanted to get me a present just take me Walmart in October and let me spend some of his money on their Halloween stuff. You know if that happened, I'll be coming back with bags full of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. What can I say? It's my favorite movie.

So last night was my night off. Tonight is also my night off, so I am at home relaxing. Added some more shit to my Hot Topic Wishlist (guys I think I have a problem). Last night Bear got my favorite horror game, Little Nightmares, on his PlayStation and we were playing it. OMG I was so happy, I absolutely love Little Nightmares. Before playing we were thirsty so we went to a nearby gas station to get some sodas. I must say I got pretty far on the PS version of the game then I did on my switch but that's because Bear helped me. I actually passed the part that made me rage quit the switch version lol. We might play a little more tonight I don't know.

I recently found my wireless headset along with the little thingy that plugs into my laptop so my headset connects (they were in different places and I don't know why). I originally got them so I can play multiplayer computer games and be able to chat with like teammates and stuff, but then I started thinking about making a YouTube channel. My YouTube channel will be for relationship advice and will be titled Lil Birdie's Relationship Advice. It will also have a podcast version on Spotify and a blog version for those who don't want to see my ugly face or hear my annoying voice (jk). It's been difficult trying to find a time to record the first episode since my desk and laptop are in mine and Bear's bedroom and the living room still has unpacked boxes. Also I've been anxious about trying to start that first video because I haven't recorded anything I plan on doing long term. Such as this series. So yeah I try to do it, my brain fills up with "what ifs", and then I'm like yeah no.

Work was pretty boring Saturday. Since we don't get truck on Saturdays Bear and I were tasked with moving some of the coolers so we can get a forklift in and "fly" (put stuff in the overhead shelves) pallets of heaters. The heaters will eventually get brought down and put up for the fall/winter. Since our regular boss is out of state she wasn't able to bring in food for us like she does on Saturdays, so our manager who is subbing for our regular boss let one of my coworkers go and get some pizza from Domino's. He got three mediums, two pepperoni and one cheese, since Saturday crew typically only has about 5 members, our manager and 4 employees. He also got two two liters of Coke. But, man, when I say that cheese pizza was cheesy I mean it. I got slice of it and that cheese was even on the crust. I think it may have been cheesier than a cartoon pizza. And cartoon pizzas be dripping cheese. Anyway, once all the pallets were flown into the overhead and the coolers put back where they were, Bear and I took the empty pallets and pallet jacks back to receiving. Bear was also driving the forklift back and something bad happened. When he was going down an aisle something happened that caused one of the wingstacks with candles on it to get bumped and sent some of the candles crashing to the ground. I didn't see what happen cause I was following four feet behind with him with the pallets, but I heard the glass from the candles smash and Bear cuss. I went to get a broom and dust pan from receiving to help him sweep it up and one of my other coworkers helped. After we were done sweeping and Bear was able to get the forklift through the aisle (with the only other thing happening was him bumping into one of the shelves) I told my coworker "at least it smells nice" because the candles were pumpkin spice scented for fall. After we got the pallets, forklift and pallet jacks back the entire team did a sweep of the store. And we got finish just in time for clock off. Bear and I had to stay behind so our manager can legally stay there to get his email done since morning crew doesn't show up til like 6, so we missed the first bus back to the train station home.

While waiting for the next bus, Bear noticed a lady outside the Walgreens right by our work. Now the Walgreens was still closed and this lady was clearly on something because she was acting erratically and pacing back and forth. It also appeared like she was trying to break in because as she was pacing she would shine her phones flashlight at the windows and look inside. Bear confronted her (safely from the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant right across the street from the Walgreens) and called her a tweaker, which she obviously was on something by the way she acted, and the woman got aggressive and yelled obscenities at him but stayed in front of the Walgreens (thankfully). After a while of her still being in front of the Walgreens, looking inside, acting erratically and getting aggressive Bear called the cops. He first tried the non-emergency line but no one answered the phone so he just called 911 and told them there was woman who seemed to be on drugs, acting erratically and aggressively, pacing in front of the Walgreens as if she might break in. He gave him all the info he had of her which wasn't much since we couldn't see her (it was still pretty dark), gave his info and the location. Not even a minute after he got off the phone 4 cop cars pulled up to the Walgreens but only like 1 ended up staying. A couple of cops stayed to question the lady while one came across the street to the bus stop Bear and I were at. He asked us about what we saw so he can file a report on it. After Bear recounted all the info to the cop, the cop took down our info on the off chance he had more questions for us. When I told the cop my date of birth, he looked at his watch and gave me an early "happy birthday" (my birthday is this Friday). After all was said done the cop went back to question the lady.

We don't know what happened, if the lady got arrested or what since our bus pulled up soon after. It was an interesting end to our day though.

My job got me all kinds of fucked up right now. For those who don't know, or may have forgotten, I work the same overnight freight job as Bear. He's the one who got me the job in the first place. Since he's been there we've been allowed to listen to music through one headphone while on the clock. But as of last night at 4am that privilege has been revoked. Apparently, too many people have almost gotten hit by the forklifts and Ballymores that it became a safety hazard. Ya know what's funny about that though? Since Bear has been there and since I've been there, there hasn't been a single report of someone getting almost hit by the forklifts/Ballymores. Not one. But a couple days ago some people came in to do some stuff around the store and they had lifts with them. Those people were so careless and impatient they damn near hit Bear, TWICE IN ONE NIGHT. They only had platform lifts to help them get up into the lights and stuff so they didn't have anything obscuring their vision at any time. Yet, they almost hit my boyfriend, my Bear, TWICE! So us losing our music isn't because people aren't be careful around heavy equipment, because we are, its because people who don't normally work there aren't be careful with the equipment they bring and use in our store! When the manager who is filling in for my boss while she's in another state gave us that news, I was an instantly angry kitten. Everyone in the meeting room who heard was pissed off! Bear even told our manager that us losing our music was bullshit! And it is! All of us get so happy when the lights dim cause that means we get to tune into our music (well, on of my music tunes into a movie). And now we can't! Thanks a lot, ya careless bozos.

I've recently made the mistake of redownloading my Hot Topic app and on all my breaks at work I have been going through their Disney collection and adding stuff from there onto my Wishlist. Haha...oops... It's not my fault they have a lot of good Disney stuff. However, today I am taking a break from their Disney collection and looking at their Halloween stuff. To be clear, I'm not adding EVERYTHING I see to my Wishlist. I don't add the costumes, star wars merchandise, merchandise for the new Buzz Lightyear movie or select tights (i.e. fishnets). The only costume-y thing I added was their Ravenclaw suspender skirt but I plan to use it (if I ever do get it) as like a regular suspender skirt. I also didn't add anything that was like black and orange plaid simply because I don't like the way it looks. Onto the Star Wars stuff. I'm sorry to offend ya'll but I DO NOT LIKE STAR WARS. There I said it. I'm sorry but the movies and shows all bore me. I really don't see the hype. As for the new Buzz Lightyear movie. I do not like movie remakes. To me the previews I've seen for this movie just were not visually appealing. I loved Toy Story as a kid but I don't believe that EVERY favorite character of some show or movie needs their own show/movie. I don't care if it's an animated/3D model remake or a live action. I love the Disney princess movies, I love The Lion King, but I believe they should stay as animated movies instead of making these crappy looking live action remakes.

Now you better believe I am getting ALL the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. ALL that stuff is in my Wishlist. Along with ALL the Hocus Pocus stuff. The Nightmare Before Christmas is my all time favorite movie and Hocus Pocus is my favorite non-animated movie. I am so excited for Hocus Pocus 2 to come out in October. As for the tights I only got like the solid tights because they can be very useful. Where I live and where I was born and raised are two different places. The state I was born and raised in (the state I'm from) it does not snow. The state I currently live in (I do not consider myself to be from here) it does snow. So going from a not so cold state to a state where you're freezing your ass off, having tights or leggings underneath your pants is very useful. I've also gotten their knee highs and thigh highs for that same reason. I also got crew socks I'll wear with the tights so my feet don't get super cold. Also during the winter I like to layer up with a hoodie underneath my big ass jacket so I got a bunch of those on my Wishlist.

I also got some decorative stuff and house ware. A bunch of Disney glasses, some Disney travel cups and at least one ramen bowl w/chopsticks. I also got some "seasonal" decorations. I say "seasonal" because Bear has been saying he wants us to get our own house (not apartment like an actual house where you pay a mortgage) and if that ever does happen I'm turning one of the rooms into my own little recording studio for when I make my YouTube videos/podcast and type up my blog. The decorations I put on my Wishlist are like holiday tinsel, Christmas tree ornaments, Halloween gel clings. Stuff like that.

Yeah, like I said. Me redownloading my Hot Topic app is a mistake because they have so much stuff I want.

The trip to the amusement park was really great. There were supposed to be about 10 of us going but only 7 of us showed up (and one of us came way late). Two people couldn't come because of work and a family emergency, another opted to go a different day because he was in the city Bear and I live in and had overslept, the others didn't answer any of my boss's calls. I mean, I overslept too. I had an alarm set for 1030 and when it went off I dismissed it and went right back to sleep, What actually woke me up is Bear's phone ringing and seeing our boss's name in the caller id. My skinny ass jumped out of bed quick and got ready. I was NOT gonna miss a day out at the amusement park because I was sleepy. No, I wanted to have fun!

After we sat in the parking lot at work for a teeny bit trying to see if anyone else was gonna show up, we left. At first it was just me, Bear, our coworker, our boss, our boss's daughter, and the daughter's fiancee. When we got to the park I was surprised I didn't have to go through a metal detector and have my backpack searched. I just gave the girl my ticket to scan the barcode, had my hand stamped and went through the turnstile. We went to the picnic area to set our food on a table and eat a little something. After we had some food we went to go try out some rides. The first ride we went on was called the jumping dragon. It's made to look like a Chinese dragon. It goes around in a circle with little dips and then it stops and does the same thing, but backwards. After we tried to go on the ride next to it called Jet Star but they were doing a safety check so we went to a different ride.

I didn't want to go on the next ride because it was really high and went straight down as opposed to at an angle. It's called the cannibal and I had to go on because like most of the rides at the park there can't be any solo riders. You either have to be in pairs or groups. This was one of the rides where you can't have anything on you that wasn't attached. No bags, no glasses, no cellphones, etc. The cannibal will eat your stuff if you take it on. All throughout the ride Bear held my hand because he knew I was scared. I mean people on the ground may not have heard me but I bet Bear heard my little tiny, baby screams.

After the ride, our boss got a text from our other coworker that was coming late and everyone split up. Our boss, her daughter and the daughter's fiancee went to the picnic table to get coworker's ticket, our coworker that was already there went by herself to a different ride, and Bear and I went to the bumper cars. While on the bumper cars Bear bumped the absolute dumbest Karen. When he bumped her she said "ugh, really?" and Bear fires back "bumper cars, Karen!" I mean how are you gonna get on the bumper cars and expect people NOT to bump into you. It's in the name: BUMPER cars.

Afterwards Bear and I went back to the table because he wasn't feeling good from the cannibal (and also he didn't sleep). After I sat and drank some water I went with my coworker that was already there on the two year round haunted house themed rides: Dracula's Castle and Terroride. Throughout both rides I kept looking at everything like "huh that's nice". There was only thing out of both rides that kinda surprised me and that was on Terroride. Somewhere at the beginning of the ride a monster drops the down from the ceiling and I kinda ducked and went "whoa" cause I wasn't expecting it. After Terroride we saw that the other coworker had shown up and met up with him, our boss, our boss's daughter and the daughter's fiancee. Both of my coworkers went off on their own and I just stayed with the other three (Bear was at the picnic table). We went on some more rides before my boss's daughter and her fiancee got tired, then it was just me and my boss.

The first ride my boss and I went on was The Bat. It's meant to simulate a bat in flight and I liked although it was a little too short. After that we were FINALLY able to go on Jet Star and we got that at the perfect time because the line was super short. My boss ended up with a tiny bit of whiplash because the ride started with a bit of an unexpected jerk. My neck popped on one of the turns but it was fun. The last ride we went on was The Samurai. I gotta say, I LOVED that ride. The ride spins around and each individual arm flips you upside down. I normally don't like rides that flip you upside down but that was fun. And the wait in line was entertaining. I watched as people lost their shoes, hats and other loose stuff they very stupidly took on the ride. A couple even lost their PHONES! My boss and I opted to take off our glasses before getting on the ride and my boss took off her sandals.

All in all, my day at the amusement park was great! 10/10 would go again.

Work these past couple of nights has been difficult. We got four lumber trucks on Thursday and another one last night. Bear was in garden Thursday and helping out in flooring and lumber last night. With all the heavy lifting in those departments when we got home in the mornings I would have to give him leg and back massages because they were hurting him so much. Thursday night Bear decided to buy himself a speaker (which also came with mic for some karaoke) because he was tired of hearing the store's music. I can't believe our manager let him. Tonight should go fairly easily since we don't get trucks on Saturdays, but tomorrow is gonna be hell. I don't work Sundays or Mondays but tomorrow our boss is taking whoever wants to go to an amusement park. We have to meet back up at the store at 12, but she's picking me and Bear up at 1130. I'm excited for the chance to go to an amusement park again (haven't been to one since I was kid) but only like 2 1/2- 3 1/2 hour nap before going and then being there at most 5 hours. Oy. At least I get to have some fun with Bear. One of my coworkers convinced me to wear my black Lola Bunny crop top. It was either that or my blue Stitch shirt. I ain't gonna be working so I don't gotta worry about getting written up over a crop top. I just hope my epilepsy can handle all the rides and excitement.

Work last night went fairly well. We got a rather large truck but from what I heard it was mostly hardware and electrical. The store leaders were having a meeting at the same time as our preshift meeting, so one of the managers (not my normal manager) would tell people where to go. Yeah, he wasn't very good at planning out how many people should be in which departments. He put too many in hardware so I ended up just working bays with another coworker. He also put too many in electrical so Bear was moved to go help out in garden. My normal manager was able to stay the whole shift and give Bear and I a ride home. They were talking about the assignments and she said one of the other people in electrical could have done it by himself and Bear would have just been put in garden to begin with.

Bear got another one of our coworkers ass. The coworker decided instead of finding someone to ask them what to do he would hide behind a nine ladder and play on his phone. Bear saw him and said, "hey, stop looking at the screen. Ya see this bay? Ya see this empty box? Pull it out. Ya see that ladder? Bring that ladder over here. Ya see those boxes? Find the box with a SKU that matches this one and put it where it goes." The guy did it. I swear Bear has more power and influence in this store than he should. He could do that in front of a manager and they wouldn't even bat an eye.

Work last night went pretty well. Bear and I were late because the trains were delayed and we had to wait for another bus, so we didn't get to work until after our preshift meeting was over. The truck wasn't too big since everyone finished stocking everything into the main shelves pretty quickly and Bear and I just went around helping everyone else upstock (him on the Ballymore, me on the ground stacking the boxes on the platform for him). Our boss had to go home during our lunch break because she was in too much pain from her recent oral surgery to stay, so we ended up having to take transit back home. Everyone got done so fast, Bear and I left half an hour before our shift ended because we had nothing left to do. Hopefully it's like that again tonight.

Last night at work was so nice and easy. Just fixing up some bays to make them look all nice, organized and full. My boss brought in some broccoli and cheddar soup, grapes, salad, croutons, cranberry/pecan mix, mixed fruit, applesauce and muffins for our lunch last night. Since she recently had mouth surgery she could eat the soup. One of my coworkers went home with a whole thing of tomatoes and Bear and I came home with the left over muffins, a little bowl of grapes and salad. It was such a great and filling lunch.

For the past, like, week the right side of my jaw has been hurting and I don't know why. It hurts to yawn, sneeze and brush my teeth. If I eat something too big (like a meatball sub) it hurts. I can't go to the doctor yet because I don't have my insurance card and that isn't coming for another couple of days. I popped some ibuprofen at work last night at work and that seemed to help some but I left in my apron in my locker and I don't know if (and where) we have anymore. I need to ask Bear if we have anymore so I can take some and be able to eat the chicken he wants to make for dinner tonight without being in pain.

Work last night was so nice and easy. We didn't have a truck last night so we didn't have any freight. I just did an aisle of bay directed packdowns with a couple of my coworkers (that took forever) and then towards the end of the night, after last break, I helped another coworker in a different department put whatever they could on their shelves and put the rest back into the overhead shelves. The bays I did with my other coworkers were so good. Like all there was left in the overhead shelves after packdowns was a teensy little corner of boxes. We absolutely KILLED IT last night! Our manager was so proud of us.

Since getting the new place, Bear and I have been making and packing lunches to take to work. Last night I made some left over spaghetti and mixed it with scramble egg and Bear had a pork roast stir fry (pork roast, mushrooms and onions). Bear and another coworker thought my spaghetti with scramble egg sounded gross, but I got two coworkers on my side saying it sounded good. My grandmother would make the same thing if she had left over spaghetti she felt would go bad if she didn't use it. I've always loved it. Tonight Bear and I don't have to pack lunches since our manager is planning on bringing in some soup and salad. Every Saturday she brings in some food she either bought from a restaurant or made herself. My first Saturday there it was tuna salad and sandwiches, the next was chicken parmesan, and the third was sandwiches and chips (it was gonna be bbq chicken but she didn't have time to make it since that was day Bear and I moved). Our manager is such a mom. She feeds us, helps us out with whatever we need, gives anyone who needs it a ride home. She's just a great boss.

We don't get trucks on Saturdays so it should be another night of bay directed packdowns. A nice easy night. It rained earlier and my weather app shows it's supposed to be a bit cold tonight so I found one of Bear's old hoodies I stole from him and I'm gonna wear it. Gotta do everything I can to stay warm since they have the A/C on full blast in the store!

Work has been going well for the most part. There are nights where we get hit with HUGE trucks but then there are nights where we just get itty bitty little trucks and the rest of the night we just do bay directed packdowns (taking items off the overhead shelves and seeing if we can't stuff them into the main shelves before reorganizing them all by SKU number back into the overhead shelves). Last night we got a fairly big truck. I had to work in electrical but I got that all done, minus the upstock because I can't go on the ladders, and was moved into hardware to help with some little shopping carts that had some stuff. We got like two or three carts done before it was time to clock out.

Bear didn't go in last night. His son broke his arm and had to go to the ER, so Bear stayed home that way he'll always be available to answer his mother's calls/texts when she gives him updates. It was pretty bad. His son had to have surgery to have a metal rod put into his arm. Poor kid and I hate to say it, but that's what ya get when you decide to jump out of TREE. That kid is so much like his dad. Like there is no doubt in my mind that that is Bear's son. Not only is he just like him, getting hurt by doing something stupid, but he looks just like how Bear did at his age.

Bear would give me updates on his son, as well since I'm kinda his stepmom. And even though he's not my kid I still care for him as if he were. Our boss was also concerned for the kid and would ask for updates. Our boss is such a mom. She will cook every Saturday for us and she bought our food the day Bear and I moved even though Bear wanted to pay.

I. Am. BACK!

08:39 Aug 02 2022
Times Read: 390

It's been forever! Okay, I am over exaggerating, it's only been a few days or so. But I am back! I did try to post journals but for some reason Vampire Rave hated me and instead of publishing my journals it would delete them. I did not expect to be gone for as long as I was, but with trying to find a new place, finding a new place, packing all of our shit up and moving all of our shit. It was a lot. Bear didn't even have time to go on his pc and play some games. It has been super stressful for both of us but Bear and I have found an apartment of our own. We are so glad that, despite his felony, Bear was able to get on the lease. Wednesday we went and signed the lease, Thursday and Friday we packed, Saturday we picked up the keys and, with the help of our manager and coworkers, moved all of our stuff into the new apartment. Our manager also took Bear to get a couple pieces of furniture (a small couch and a chair with a foot rest) from a thrift store. He also found a chest he really liked. Sunday morning, after work, she took us to go get some groceries and basic house necessities (kitchen stuff, paper towels, toilet paper). Then Monday when I woke up (so like late afternoon-early evening hours) I got a message on Facebook from Bear's mom saying that a Walmart delivery she had made for us would be arriving soon. She had initially tried to text and call Bear but he was asleep. Anyway, when it came it was some more toilet paper and paper towels, some silverware, some dish towels, a gallon of orange juice, a couple things of hand soap and a thing of dish soap. Now all Bear and I really need to get are some sponges, a shower curtain, a microwave, a trash can for the kitchen and some trash bags. Bear is also thinking about getting a washer and dryer since we have hookups for those but we'll see.

We've been unpacking little by little. Sunday we put some things in the closet and unpacked most (if not all) the kitchen the stuff we already had. Tonight we put more stuff in the closet, rearranged the living room, put Blue (our ferret) in our room, rearranged our room, put up our window curtain and put my desk in the room. We still have a ways to go but we aren't in rush so it's fine.

Of course all this good stuff did come with some bad to balance it. The day we got the call that we had been accepted (Wednesday) we found out Mud, our Nile monitor, had passed away. We aren't entirely sure what happened but he is the fourth pet to have died without an obvious reason in our last place. Both our sugar gliders (Opa and Denku) passed away last year within a few months each other. We aren't sure what happened to Opa but Denku got really sick back October, and after trying for weeks to beat it he passed away. Alastor (my sweet little rat) passed away back in March. We aren't sure what happened to him. We don't know if he was sick when he got him or what but I did end up losing my baby boy while I was at work. And then there's Mud. I think he got too cold and passed away because of it. Since he is a reptile he is cold blooded and does need a heat lamp, but his broke and we didn't know how. We didn't have much time to look at it and either replace or get a new bulb. A friend of mine from my previous job thinks it may have had something to do with the house. I mean, one pet dropping dead without obvious reason not super concerning. Could have been a hidden illness or something. But for FOUR pets to just drop dead or suddenly fall ill and die in the SAME HOUSE, that's something else. I have had five pets die in the past year and only ONE of them we new exactly what happened to it. That one was Baby, my baby Honduran curly haired tarantula, it passed away while I was at work from poor molting conditions. Anyway, we hope that with the move into a new better place the pets will stay healthy and live long, happy lives.
