Tonight I go into a store with my daughter.
It's been along day of working and hospital visits oh and me running in the back
of the car in front of me before work this morning. UGH
I do NOT want to be there
Hair in ponytail
Bagging track pants
No Makeup
You know the times you don't want to see anyone you know,
or even carry a conversation with someone.
My daughter comes up to me...she says some
guy is checking you out!
I look up...no a soul is there. All she says "he's bald" and walked away.
(She knows I don't want to see anyone I know)
I shook my head and carried on.
We're standing in a corner back isle...
This beach ball comes rolling slowly past me.
I turn around, and not a living soul is around.
I get my daughters attention and a 2nd ball comes rolling past my feet again!
This time I make a little shriek as I'm feeling weird now.
She looks at me, and tells me to "sshhh"
So I move on the other side of her,
thinking either I'm losing it, or someone is fucking with me.
Then I'm standing alone, and no shit...this beachball
comes rolling up the isle AGAIN towards me, and no one is around.
You have to understand that the ball is rolling slowly up a
long isle like a bowling ball.
No movement in the place, other than a freggin' ball rolling.
Now I'm officially freaked.
Yeah..until I hear this hysterical laughter and when I looked back to find my daughter talking with this "bald man" that turned out to be a really good guy friend I've known forever and haven't seen in years!!
He was loosing his shit...said the look on my face was priceless.
Spying on me with his phone from the end isles.
Really? Who does this shit?
What I said to him was I was grateful I've not lost my mind
So needless to say,
