Tax day is upon us. Yuck! Thakfully I got mine sent in weeks ago. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my refund check. With my luck I won't receive a check, someone else will get it for some old hospital bill or something. Who knows. But anyway. My daughter Autumn is doing well. She is getting back to her old self. She has been laughing and joking alot more. She missed all last week of school, but I let her stay. She is so worried about people making fun of her. In case you didn't know a week ago yesterday, Autumn was hurt in an accident while helping her father work on a machine. She crushed the ends of two of her fingers on the left hand. The middle and ring fingers to be exact. She lost part of them due to the bones being crushed and so that had to cut them off back to the first joint just below the fingernail. No big deal huh? Yea it is. She is only 13 years old, and already has low self esteem. She has ADHD which makes her feel inferior because she can't make straight A's which is fine with me, C's are fine,but she really wants to do better. And of course she is a little over weight. Not a lot, but a little so this is not going to make things any better. Now I am totally stressed out over the whole situation and I can't help but be angry at my husband at times, even though I know I shouldn't. It was an accident I know that, but it still angers me to know that he wasn't paying close enough attention. But in his defense Autumn should have been paying attention too and heard what he said when he said I am gonna turn on the machine. I just need a vacation away from everything around here. School only has 5 weeks left and maby I will get a break then, If I can make it 5 weeks. I sure hope so.

AUTUMN IS DOING FAIRLY WELL TODAY. SHE IS HAVING SOME PAIN, HOWEVER, I STILL DO NOT BELIEVE THE TRUE REALITY OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED HAS SET IN YET. I HOPE WHEN IT DOES SHE DEALS WELL WITH IT. I LOVE HER SO MUCH I JUST WANT TO PROTECT HER AND I CANNOT PROTECT HER FROM THIS.

TODAY I PLANNED TO SPEND MOST OF THE DAY WORKING ON AND EXPLORING THIS SITE. HOWEVER, MY DAUGHTER WHO IS 13 CUT THE TIPS OF TWO OF HER FINGERS OFF AND WE HAD TO SPEND ALL DAY AT THE HOSPITAL AND SHE HAD TO HAVE SURGERY ON HER TWO FINGERS. THE BONES WERE CRUSHED AND SHE HAD TO HAVE THEM REMOVED BACK TO THE FIRST JOINT FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO HEAL. SO THAT IS WHAT WE ENDED SPENDING ALL DAY TODAY DOING.
