He smeared the blood on both hands and held them before him, spread a little apart. The night air stilled and seemed colder but alight with a humming energy. He was muttering so softly that she couldn't hear what he was saying. His voice was picking up speed and as it did he began to float ever so slightly off the ground, it reminded her of seeing videos of astronauts in zero G environments.



The man walking toward them yelled and flung his arm foraward, throwing a ball of almost white hot flame at them and that's when she saw it. It looked like Rob's aura grew and there was a nearly transparent dragon standing around him, black as night with dark blue eyes glowing out. He finished his spell none too soon and the fireball hit a ripple in the air and disappeared only to reappear not even a second later behind the unknown sorcerer. Their attacker had only enough time to look behind him in terror as the fire engulfed him. It was over, without his spirit to fuel it the fire vanished and him along with it.
