He looked outside. Dusk. Just the way he liked it. He walked out of the tomb that was called his home and rubbed his hands together, 'feeding time' he thought to himself. As he turned the corner to walk out of the 15th century graveyard the old usual gang of teenagers sat drinking and smoking turned to look at him, frozen by the fear that overtook their bodies.
'Hello dear peasants' he said as he walked past each and every one of them.
It had been a good twenty minutes before he reached the town centre, buttoning up his full length coat, he produced a cane out from the sleeve and tapped it on the cobbled ground. he walked towards the Hangar, a club that he had been frequenting for the past five years, and the doorman let him straight in.
'Welcome back sir' said the head doorman.
As he walked up to the seated corner, the barman had brought over a bottle of the finest champagne and a two glasses. He pointed over to the two girls girating to the music around a pole. The barman walked up to the girls, pointed to him and they walked over all seductively wondering what was going to be instore for them that night.
'Good evening ladies' he said as he licked his thin, cold lips.
'Look what is it that you want?' said the tall slender brunette
'Just to sit with you two gorgeous ladies for the evening, please have a drink on me, tonight ladies, you shall have whatever you desire on me'
The cute little blonde looked at him and smiled, took a glass and sipped at it's contents. He looked at her and smiled, imagining sinking his teeth into her flesh and letting the blood trickle down her pure white skin. The brunette looked at him and sneered. He bent over and whispered in her ear 'You are going to be the hard one to crack tonight, I see my charms have already won over your little friend'. She looked at him and smiled a little smile and continued drinking her drink.
The night had finished, both girls a little worse for wear walked out of the club, he tipped his cane at the doorman as he left, the girls following him like lost little puppies, he reached the corner and grabbed the blonde and pulled her close into him, he kissed her cheek and she giggled.
'Why don't we find somewhere more quiet' she suggested to him, but he just looked at the brunette and said he wanted both. They reached a hotel and they walked inside, walked up the stairs to the penthouse suite, he unbuttoned his coat and hung it on the coat stand.
'Welcome to my humble abode' he said as both girls gasped in amazement at the banquet of food and drink waiting there for them. They looked at him and he opened his hands welcoming them to the feast.
'Please ladies, like I told you before, your wish is my command'
'What is it you want from us?' the suspicious brunette asked
'Nothing really, maybe just to know your names'
'My name is Sam' the blonde headed girl said in between sips of red wine
'And your name is?' he asked the brunette
'Christina, but I like to be called Chrissy'
She looked deep into his eyes and noticed the faint glint of dark pools behind, swirling, forcing her to look more and more deeply, hypnotising her. She looked away, blushing and mumbled something unintelligable.
The night wore on, Sam was laid on the sofa asleep while Christina was talking to him about a dark mysterious fantasy of hers
'You know I always wished I was a vampire' she said to him
'Well my dear, I just so happen to know that sometimes your wishes can be granted'
She looked at him and laughed.
'I doubt that this wish will be granted' she said sighing
'Never be shocked, please let me show you the ways of a true vampire' He said as he looked intensly into her eyes.
'OK what are you going to do?' she asked, looking a little nervous.
'Nothing you don't want to see or be' He replied. He pulled Sam's body over towards her and asked her if she wanted this, really wanted this so bad that she could taste it in her mouth.
'Yes' she replied.
He reached over behind Sam and lowered his head towards her bare neck, his fangs exposed as he smiled at Christina. He slowly let his mouth glide over Sam's slender throat and sunk his teeth into the flesh near her windpipe, she woke suddenly with a jerk, he kept her down, fear engulfed her as she tried to scream for Christina to help her. Christina watched the life drain from her face, a dull almost palid glaze over her cheeks as every inch of life was sucked out of her fragile body. He turned to look at Christina, told her to have a try as her last time as a mortal. She looked at him and questioned herself for a split second before tasting the hot salty blood of her best friend.
'Now my sweet princess, you must drink from me' he said as he lifted the sleeve of his shirt to expose pure white skin. He used his fingernail to cut a small insistion in his wrist. Christina sat up and kissed his hand before reaching over and sucking his blood, the coldness enveloping her as she could feel the strangest of feelings overcome her. She wanted to stop but she couldn't, she wanted to wake up but it was no dream, she wanted Sam to forgive her but it was too late.
Her body started convulsing, shaking rapidly as the sweat beads dripped from her forehead. She was cold, feeling the foreign body wrapping itself around her heart, making it slow down, feeling each pulse slow. Eventually it stopped, she lay flat on the floor, dead. Her eyes shot open, looking with her new eyes she viewed him standing over her body, smiling. He picked her up and placed her on the sofa next to the corpse that was slowly allowing rigor mortis to set in. She looked at the pathetic excuse of a best friend and she felt no remorse.
'I'm hungry' she said as she looked up into his eyes.
'Well my dearest, lets go eat'
As they walked out of the room, she looked behind her and noticed the body of her friend, she felt nothing but emptiness.
He held her hand as they walked through the town, the cold welcoming them to it's own personal party.
'Are you ready my sweet?' he asked her. She nodded her head feeling both anxious and excited at the same time. They spotted a drunk man staggering across the road, she looked at him and contemplated ripping the flesh off his neck. She walked up to the man, linked her arm through his and lead him down an alley way. They stopped, she pushed him up against the wall. He looked at her in his drunken stupor and realised that tonight something wrong was going to happen to him.
'It's ok dear' she said as she slid her fingers daintly around his face. She grabbed his chin and pushed his head to the side, exposing his throat.
'This won't hurt....much' She pushed her mouth towards his throat and ripped at the flesh that was there with her bare teeth. he screamed out but her hunger was to intense for him to move, he started sliding down the wall as she let him fall down, teeth still attatched to his neck sucking every sap of energy from his body. His eyes were wide with fear as he died blood still oozing out his neck like a small stream.
'That was a mess' he said as she walked out of the alleyway, blood covering her cold lips.
'I know but it felt so right' She replied, feeling the urge to continue from where she left off. He grabbed her by the wrist and looked intensly into her eyes.
'You will never do that again, we as vampires need to be discreet, we can't go around tearing flesh of peoples necks because we feel like it' He was getting rather angry at her as they walked around the town centre. She looked at him and thought that it was up to her what she wanted to do. She started plotting...............
