Got a dog and a cat today. They're getting along as fine as one could hope. We got them in the room together before bringing them home to make sure they could get along till they got to know eachother. Both animals are real mellow and easy to get along with. Tommy, the cat, is a wonderful lap/lounge cat. He just wants to chill there next to you. I've been able to get him to play a couple of times, but he really just wants to chill. Sampson, the dog, is a lab and thus a "big dog." He's been happy just to be out of his cage. He wizzed on the carpet almost the instant we got him inside, but got scolded and it was easily cleaned up.



Having pets is a great experience, and one I haven't been able to have for nine years. I am so glad we went down to the pound today.
