How do you go on after this?

We watch them all our life

They are a big part of our lives

Then death reaches out and takes them by the hand

Taking away their pain, worries, fears and their tears

Giving then joy, rest, peace, and healing them

But we are left to hurt inside for years to come

Thinking why so soon why then I still needed them in my life

We cry ourselves to sleep wishing to have them back even after 10 years has passed

Tears roll down our cheeks as we remember the times we had with them

Then keep coming as we remember the last days we had with them seeing them as they are dying and you look in their eyes and you see on one is there.

We dream of the day we’ll get to meet up with them again to hug them and kiss them

To look them in the eyes and tell then how much you missed them

How we never stopped thinking of them

How glad you were when they came to you in your dreams and you got to hug them and talk with them face to face.

How you remember in that dream what they were wearing and how they looked

How do we tell them we shut down after they died and was never the same after?

How do we say I always wanted to take your place in death and let you have mine

How we hate GOD so much for taking you from us

How do we move on?

Why do we hurt ourselves in order to feel alive?

Tears will always fall for over we love and lost no matter how old we get

Be it in death or life we hurt when we lose the ones we love

That makes our lives whole.

WE REMEMBER THOSE WE HAVE LOVED AND LOST AND WE LIVE IN LOVE COMPASSION AND COURAGE LIKE THEY DID AND WE TURN TO THOSE WE KNOW REALLY LOVE US FOR COMFORT GUIDANCE HEALING AND PROTECTION.
