It's taken me a while, but here's the first "for writers" link...
Writer's Resources
This site has some good information for aspiring writers, professional writers, journalists and editors.
It's been a while, but here's another writing prompt for everyone. Once again, if you'd like to share what you make out of this, I'd love to read it.
This is a fairly typical tale of an abusive relationship, but it has a twist. Backstory - Abused spouse flees for their life, spends time in a shelter before getting settled into a new life with a new identity. Some time goes by before they're able to live without the constant fear of being found. One day, when least expected, they come home to find their spouse has broken into their house and is awaiting them in the living room. The twist - the abused spouse is the husband, and the abuser is the wife. Your task - write what happens next. Use as much of the backstory as necessary for your story to make sense, and include any additional details you think will add to the story. (For example - are there kids involved??)
