"If Earth Day were a 40-year-old human being today, I don't suspect he/she would have much to celebrate. Thanks to those who pump CO2 and methane into his/her air, dump petroleum and coal slur into his/her water, and drop cigarette butts and aluminum cans on his/her land. Here's to big oil and coal, McDonald's and excessive red meat consumption, and those who don't recycle and treat the ground like a waste bin!"
