I woke up to the sounds of the barren forest all around me. Looking around in a daze, I noticed the taste of blood on my tongue. "What happened? Where am I?" My voice was cold, and hoarse. I looked down only to notice that i was bare, covered in drying blood, and a dismembered body of someone I once knew at my feet. I walked shakily to the river ahead to clean myself up. "I thought the monkshood could stop the transformation." I reached into the limp body's shreaded jacket pockets. "yes just what I needed." Pulling out a large book of matches i buried the body in dry summer leaves. I lit the matchbook, placed it under the pile, and watched the flames surround the body. "That takes care of that" I said walking away, leaving the body to burn.
