OK, about the Ghost. As I said the building is the oldest commercial building in OC. When I worked there it was called Doc Hollidays Pub. I was a Disc Jockey there for a few years and had heard rumors about Ghost but never saw any. Some of the people there were especally reluctant to go into the basement because of the " vibes " down there. The basement was spooky. There were two tunnels that used to go to the docks at the River for supplies, and rumor had it, to shanghigh Drunken customers to Sea to work on the ships.

The Bar was on the main floor and around back there was a stairway that went up to a large common area with two full bathrooms and about ten one room apartments that was used as a Bordello.

At one point the Owner promoted me to Manager which left me alone in the Bar often. I also got one of the apartments upstairs.

Before I moved upstairs I was sleeping over in the Bar a lot because I lived in Portland and I had no way home at 4am.

I knew rite off that I was not alone in the bar at night. I felt a warm feeling throughout my body when I was Laying down to sleep. I felt "very safe "

I would say goonight to the Ghost, and I thanked the Ghost For allowing me to share the Bar overnights.

One night I was counting my till and I got the feeling and when i looked up, there, three tables over was the silloette of a shapely Woman in a nightgown holding one of those old cigarette holders to her mouth. I blinked my eyes and she was gone...but not the warm feeling, it was still there. I only saw her one other time,under similar circumstances. Now I had a face to go with my Ghost. I also knew she was a Woman.

I moved up to my apartment but I never felt her there, only in the Bar.

I had started dating a gal who bartended at The Dunes. I had a lot of gals to my apartment in my time at the bar ( I was popular ) and nothing out of the ordinary ever happened.

The first night my gal from The Dunes came around for the night that was not the case. I cared for her and her me. That was different from the rest of the girls.

After spending some intimate time together I went down to the Bar to get us some wine coolers. It was very early and the Bar was closed..
