Stone And Crystal Protection



This simple spell (anyone can do it…it is completely safe) will create something that, when carried with you, will absorb negative energy (such as anger, danger, and malevolence) directed at you, or around you.



STEP 1: It works best with a black crystal, but if you don’t have a black crystal – you can find your own special stone, charm, or crystal around the house (or even in your yard).



If nothing you can use immediately comes to mind, simply go through your house and look for a special charm or necklace that means something to you.



If you can’t find anything, look for any stones or crystals in the house that “feel right” to you (it really helps if you have some emotional tie to the object you select)…



If you are still having problems finding something to use, try going outside.



Pick up various stones off of the ground.



Hold them in your hands, and close your eyes.



How does the stone feel in your hand?



If it feels good, or “right” (you’ll know), you’ve found something you can use.



If not, just move on to the next stone until you find one you feel will work…



STEP 2: Next, find a room or an area of your home where you feel comfortable.



It should be a place where you can set up a few candles, dim the lights, put on some soft – emotion based music, and relax. Above all, you need to do whatever you need to do to feel completely 100% safe and secure… and at ease.



Go ahead and dim the lights, set up a few candles, put on some soft music that creates positive feelings inside of you (if you have some, if not that’s ok – music does help though).



STEP 3: Sit in a comfortable position so that you can see the light of the candles you have set up.



This could be a couch, or special chair, or even a comfortable position on the ground or a pad.



It is important that you feel comfortable and secure in your spot.



STEP 4: Hold your charm, stone, crystal, or other object in both hands.



Hold the clutched object close to your chest – your heart.



Now, make sure you relax and try to clear you mind as much as possible.



Continue to push any negative thoughts out of your mind until you have reached a state of calm and peace.



STEP 5: Next, you want to think about your belief in what you are about to do.



Think about how you believe, without a doubt, that the Magick energy that you are going to build up will protect you from negative energy.



You must sincerely believe that your Magick will protect you.



STEP 6: Now that you have cleared your mind, and built up your belief in your spell, it is time to charge your special object with energies of protection.



Visualize, in your mind, an egg shaped sphere of white light surrounding you (your eyes are still closed as you visualize yourself surround by this light).



Continue to visualize this image until it is sharp and clear in your mind.



STEP 7: Once the image is clear, slowly open your eyes.



See this same clear image of the egg-shaped sphere of white light surrounding you – this time with your eyes open.



Now, hold your object out in front of you, with your palms open (facing up so that you are offering the object out in front of you).



STEP 8: Visualize negative energy coming towards you in the form of drifting, gray, small clouds of smoke. As this grayish smoke filled with negative energy reaches the egg-shaped sphere of white light surround you, see the gray smoke be whisked directly into the charm in the palms of your hands and devoured.



Continue this visualization until it becomes very clear.



The gray smoke drifting towards you, and being instantly whisked into your special object as soon as it hits the white light surrounding you – and then being devoured into nothing as it is absorbed into your special object.



You should continue this visualization for 3 – 5 minutes.



STEP 9: When you are done, you will have a Magickally charged “amulet” of protection!



Whenever you feel you need protection in your life, carry this object with you.



In a pocket, or around your neck.



You’ll periodically (about once every month or two) want to do this spell again to recharge the protective energies of your object.

What you'll need:



* Any skull figure. It can be plastic, or wax, etc. You can find them at any craft store this time of year.



* Pumpkin spice



* Dried pumpkin seed



* A large white plate



* A small bowl



* A small bag (I prefer using a black bag for this)



* A gold cord/thread/string.



* Your favorite incense. (I use frankincense)



* A piece of paper and a pen



STEP 1: Setup your altar. Decorate it for Halloween...and also include any symbols of money or prosperity you can dig up.



Think skulls...pirates... treasure... and any spooky figurines/decorations. Have fun with it.



STEP 2: Light your incense at 7pm Pacific Time, (Friday October 21).



STEP 3: Pass your skull, the pumpkin spice, pumpkin seeds, plate, bowl, back, and gold cord through the incense smoke. Do this one at a time.



STEP 4: Mix the seeds and spice in the bowl. First stir counterclockwise to banish negativity from your home.



Say: "As I stir, counter turn, ancestors, ancestors, I call to thee.



Ban the energy of negativity. From my home and from my heart. This moment, make it forever part.



STEP 5: Now, stir the seeds and spice clockwise. Say:



"As I stir, clock turn, ancestors, ancestors, I call to thee.



Bring a prosperous turn to me. Use your wit, your power flows. Harm to none, prosperity shows."



STEP 6: Write down as many names of your deceased ancestors as you can on the paper.



Put it on the plate.



STEP 7: Set the skull on top of the paper.



STEP 8: Sprinkle the skull with your mixture of pumpkin spice and seeds.



STEP 9: Hold your hands over the skull and ask your ancestors to bring harmony and prosperity to your life... in your own kind and loving words.



Be real. Be emotional. Just be.



STEP 10: Next, cover the skull with the bag for 7 days.



STEP 11: On the 7th day, next Friday, take the skull, the spice, and pumpkin seeds, and place it all INTO the bag.



STEP 12: Tie it securely with the cord/thread/ string.



STEP 13: Hide it in the west side of your basement, garage, or living quarters.

Just let the Magick happen.

What you'll need:



* A red candle



* Something to carve it with, like a butter

knife or needle.



* Your favorite annointing oil. I like

frankincense oil. Or myrrh.



* Your favorite "luck herb". I use

frankincense. You can also use rosemary,

thyme, spearmint, nutmeg...



* A pot of boiling water (keep it in

the kitchen, don't put it on your

altar)



* A special piece of jewelry, a charm,

or a figurine of some sort.



* A small bag to put the charm in.

Something you can easily carry in a

pocket or purse...



STEP 1: Setup a basic altar. Decorate

it with anything representing Samhain

or Halloween. Get creative... the more

fun you have with this, the better the

spell will work.



STEP 2: Carve the red candle with your

name, and deepest desire. Also carve

a symbol in the candle representing

an area of your life you wish to

improve.



Example: a dollar sign for wealth, a

heart for love... a happy face for

general happiness.



STEP 3: Annoint your candle with the

oil.



STEP 4: Walk with your candle,

charm bag, and herb to the kitchen where

the water is boiling.



STEP 5: Set the candle near the pot,

and light it.



STEP 6: Sprinkle a small handful of

the herb into the water. Let the

steam rise.



STEP 7: Pass your charm bag alternately

through the steam and the candle smoke.



Spend 5 minutes doing this.



STEP 8: As you pass the charm bag, imagine

what life would be like if the specific

area of your life was exactly how you

wish it to be. How would you feel?



STEP 9: Sleep with the charm bag under

your pillow, and allow yourself to dream.

Keep this charm bag by your bed all through Samhain season.

What you'll need:



* 5-10 white candles. (The more you use, the better...but don't get too carried away...as always be careful.)



* 1 black candle.



* A decent-sized mirror you can setup on your altar and look into. I like to use a medium sized one that stands up, so I can look into it while sitting.



* A butter knife



* Some salt



* A plate



STEP 1: Setup your altar...



STEP 2: Setup your white candles in a circle around you and your altar.



STEP 3: Setup the black candle on your altar next to the plate.



STEP 4: Light all the candles, and turn off the lights in the room.



STEP 5: Sprinkle salt around the mirror on your altar, and in a small circle around you and your altar.



STEP 6: Drip wax from the black candle onto the plate. Make sure it's enough to cover most of the plate.



STEP 7: As the wax is drying, sit calmly and close your eyes. Visualize the person you want to speak with in your mind.



Can you "see" the last time you saw them in your mind?



What other specifics do you remember about them? Think about as many details as you can...feel the love and emotion... cry if you need to.



STEP 8: Once the wax is dry, pick up your butter knife and carve the full name of the person you are calling upon in the dried wax on the plate.



STEP 9: Say:



"As I course through time, I miss you [NAME OF PERSON/SPIRIT YOU MISS].



Please come to me. I beckon you.



Share your stories, and love, so we may see each other again."



STEP 10: Wait for 30 seconds in stillness...with your eyes closed, still visualizing the person deeply in your mind.



STEP 11: Say:



"I am ready now...show yourself to me."



STEP 12: Gaze into your mirror. As you stare, try to focus "beyond" the mirror. Do not move your eyes, just stare.



STEP 13: Begin to ask simple questions, whatever you wish.



STEP 14: The spirit you are calling on will interact with you in different ways. You may catch glimpses of them in the mirror. They may answer your questions by flickering the candle light...or you may feel their soft touch on your skin...a breath of air.



Be tuned in to your surroundings...feel them... maybe even HEAR them softly whispering.



STEP 15: Continue to speak to them until you are done, or they leave...

This is a wonderfully powerful spell if done properly...one that can leave you with a feeling of closure, satisfaction, and even elation.



But it is also VERY emotional.
