How you did it was counter productive. If you had voices the same thoughts in a more polite way, then you would not have pissed him off.



Its all about a persons tone. If your trying to make a difference do not attack the person that has to make that change. Doing that only causes problems, mostly for yourself.



I am sure if you approached him politely and didnt attack him about things, you might see a different side. He is a reasonable person, but will not take people being impolite with their actions.
