How many more times do I have to read "I'm hot" on a member's profile but no picture's been posted?

Is it because in fact you aren't hot or can you just not come up with something creative?

Oh, and don't get me started on what I think about people that think they are hot lol

There is something I keep wondering. When the Chicago White Sox won the World Series against the Houston Astros last year the exact words of the game commentators were “The Chicago White Sox are the Champions of the World”.



Let’s see, as a World Champion you defeat several selections from several countries, right? Well, the only non-American selection they have played against were the Toronto Blue Jays from Canada. The White Sox did not play a team from Europe and more importantly they did not play against a single team from Asia. So this gives you the right to call the Chigao White Sox the Champions of the World?



Well, it is no big secret that many Americans do not even know that there are more countries on the globe and that doesn’t stop at Canada in the north and Mexico in the south. So it comes as no surprise to assume that America actually is the world.



Well, to be honest it just proves how restricted the horizon is for some, well many actually lol

And in all truth, as long as there are countries like the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Japan, Taiwan to name a few, American baseball is nowhere near the top. So to call the Chicago White Sox the Champions of the World is an insult to the countries that actually can play baseball!!!!!



The White Sox have won the MLB which makes them Champions of Northern America at best seeing that two Canadian teams were competing in this League, including the Montreal Expos before they were replaced by the Washington Nationals.



Maybe it is time for some, well many actually to see things in REAL proportions!



A year ago Liverpool FC won the Champions League (= European soccer team competition) against AC Milan and have rightfully been called European Champions. On their way to the title they have beaten teams from all over Europe. They have been given the right title and they have earned it. Guess what nationality the game commentators were not?



Makes you proud to be European, does it not? ;)
