Chapter 24



As the week's went on...I had been throwing up a couple mornings. I didn't know what was wrong with me and I didn't want to worry Darian. For some reason, I felt like I was being weighted down, but I payed no real attention to it. But I started throwing up more frequently, and it was becoming a bother. Darian didn't know anything about it,like I said, but he did know about me going to the doctors. Of course he asked questions, wanting to know was anything wrong with me, why I wanted to go there, but I still held it from him. We sat in the waiting room for sometime. I didn't mind because I was throwing up right now, and my stomach felt fine for once. Odd, huh? Surely I would think by all times, it would act up here so I could give the doctor an example of what was wrong with me. When he finally called my name, "Wish Frill," Yes...My last name had changed. I am known as Queen Wish, or Lady Wish..But I really like it when people just call me Wish, like Rain. Such a sweet little girl. Well, Darain walked behind me, holding his hand on the lower of my back and pushing me softly into the white room. I was told to sit on the bed and Darian in the chair next to me. The doctor came into the room smiling flawlessly. Of course all vampires have that...Like me...But of course I had to be the odd one. He started checking my pulse, asking me what was really happening to me. And let me tell you, Darian was shocked I hadn't told him. Usually I come to him first when I had problems, but my mind just told me not to...So I didn't. For some odd reason, the doctor had token me to the X-ray room. I was scared something was wrong inside of me. Like something wasn't healed from a while ago. I didn't know..I was only 15. That kinda took the doctor a little by surprise, but I told him it was a completely long story. He just nodded but gave me a weird look. I didn't know why, but my heart started to pound furiously. I mean, I think even Darian heard it. Because he looked at me rather strangely. I looked at the doctor curiously, as he stared down at my stomach, "Am I okay...? Or is there something wrong with me?" I asked slowly, making sure it wasn't SO bad. "Well..It depends on how you put it," He told me softly. By now he had lost me and Darian. "Well, can I talk to Lady Wish...Alone," He said, flashing a smile smile to Darian. Darian nodded getting up from the chair next to me and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. "What's the matter? Am I dieing or something?!" I shouted terrified. The doctor only shook his head. Then the news just through me off, "Your pregnant." He said simply. I swear I passed out right then and there, but only for a Milli second. "Are...are you serious?" I asked. He could tell I was shocked, but he also noticed a little excitement in my voice. He smiled reassuringly. I blinked a couple times, looking at the white door in front of me. "Umm...can you get Darian, please. I need to tell him this on my own..." I whispered. He nodded opening the door to see Darian leaning on the wall and smiling. "So, what's up with her?" "Well, let her tell you herself," The doctor replied, letting Darian in and closing it shut. Darian took my hand softly, caressing my cheek with the back of his hand. "Darian...promise me you won't flip out..." Darian gave her a serious look but nodded. "What's wrong? Did something happen? Are you going to be okay?" He asked quickly. I laughed shortly, "Not really. Sorta...And maybe. Well Darian...," He leaned closer and I just came out with it, "I'm pregnant.." I said lowering my eyes to the floor. But, you know how in shows or movies, sometimes the guys flip out and leave the mother to care on her own, it's good life isn't a story, huh? Because the next thing I knew, I was being gripped into a tight embrace, and Darian was kissing my head like..A million times! "I'm so happy.." He whispered in my ear. I smiled looking into his eyes. "Really?" I said a bit taken back. "Of course! Who else would I want a child with, then you? I love you Wish. And I'll be the best father as I am husband." I swear I could feel my heart crying with such happiness. What my life used to be, the most horrible and depressed girl, to this happy one, about to have a baby with the greatest man on earth. Go me!

No Darian is sweet...but it was getting pretty annoying. I mean, who doesn't want to be pampered...But a girl has some dignity! I mean, he even wanted to be in the bathroom when I had to go. Afraid that I might slip and hurt myself. Come on! I JUST found out I was pregnant...It's not like I'm as fat as a watermelon yet. That, is when he should start worrying. Cause I gotta say..I've been a bit clumsy lately. But whatever...But honestly, he is the best husband. I know he's going to be a great father. But I was worried about something...He is going to spoil my baby! I don't want it to be weak. Knowing Darian, he might make sure she/he guarded 24/7. No way, she/he will learn how to protect itself like a vampire should know how. Even though it took me some time. I mean I was human at first. Give a girl a brake. My mind kept wondering to when I was actually going to be as big as a watermelon...But I also hated the fact of being in pain for 8 months..The first month, okay no probably, I get a little big, But I mean when I hit like the 2nd month, watch out! I was cranky, I could tell you that much. But Darian was determined to not let my mood swings get in the way of him caring for me. God I love him. That day, coming from the doctors, Darian had told Rain the good news, and she jumped on me like a small puppy. Darian rolled his eyes, but kept a smile in his face. He retreated into the kitchen to get some blood, but I sat down and starting watching t.v. Even though he said it wasn't good for me. Psha! My life has been good here. No complaints whats so ever...Well, except for me having to go with Darian to meetings about he clan and such. But, as long as I am there with him..I am extremely happy. Well, now I write farewell my diary. I have told you everything that's happened to me. And I have run out of room in you. Now, I shall start a whole new diary...filled with new adventures in my life. The Diary of Wish...has a nice ring to it. I shall share this with my baby! Love you Diary.

Chapter 23



Darian was shocked that the elders had announced him the new king. "So Wish if free to live?" He asked sternly. The elders nodded slowly, looking down at the beaten up vampire. "Or...she may die.." The said sorrowfully. Darian looked at Wish quickly, and she enough her breath was raspy and her eyes were twitching to close. Darian sat beside her, pulling her into his lap and rocking her. "No way, Wish. You are not dieing now. Blaze gave his life for you, and how would he feel if he did it for nothing?!" He shouted at her. She looked up at him slowly, closing her eyes for seconds, then opening them again. And every time she did that, Darian would suck in a breath hoping that she was till breathing. "I..Don't deserve to live. Blaze..died because of me..I regret it terribly." She said crying. The acid tears splashed on Darian, but he didn't mind the burning. This hurt even more. "Wish, if you don't stay alive I will die with you!" Wish's eyes shot open as much as they could. "No!" She whispered loudly. "I don't want to leave you. If I have to, I will fight for my life. I love you so much, Darian." Wish said, sighing in pain. Darian growled at the elders. "Get me some warm water, lots of towels, and medicine for the wounds," He said calmly, but when no one moved, Darian hissed even more, "Now!" He shouted and feet started to scramble in all directions. Wish smiled softly, looking at Rain stare at her in horror. Wish lifted her finger, telling Rain she could come over. Rain ran quickly, dropping to her knees and crying softly. "Lady Wish...are you going to die?" Wish shook her head slowly. "Not anytime soon, baby...Not anytime soon.." Rain was softly pushed out of the way and that's when they started to work on Wish's wounds.

Day's went by, and Wish was already fully healed. Blaze's ashes were scooped up carefully, and placed in a jar. Darian was the first to speak at the burial, and then Rain. Wish went last, telling how he had cared for her in her time of need. And how he was such a caring best friend to her. A black rose placed slowly on top his coffin, and he was lowered into the grave. Rain cried for days, and Darian had once or twice. Wish was like Rain, she couldn't seem to stop, and every time Darian would comfort her, telling her it wasn't her fault. He was trying to protect her like Darian was. But she never got over it. She would always be thankful to Blaze, and no one would forget such a loving king, like his father. Today was the day Darian was to be properly announced king. He and Wish walked hand in hand, as Rain held onto Wish's right side. Vampires all around them bowed, as Darian took his seat on the throne. Wish smiled sweetly, standing next to him, as the elder came up slowly, crown in hand, and turned towards the other vampires. "Today is a marvelous day! Today, we celebrate the crowning of another king. Prince Darian...Do you except the responsibilities and duties as the new king? Making it safe, for all vampires alike?" They asked, turning to look at Darian. He nodded slowly, a serious expression planted on his face. But Wish knew he was excited and happy inside. The elders nodded, walking up slowly and holding the crown above Darian's head, who looked straight the whole time. As soon as the crown was placed on his head, every vampire cheered with excitement, throwing flowers and coins everywhere. Darian smiled sweetly, looking at Wish and taking her hand. She leaned down kissing his lips and closing her eyes for the moment. Darian kissed her once more before she pulled away. She blushed crimson, as she saw all the vampire staring at her and Darian. Darian smirked, looking at Wish's embarrassment. "King, you wished to say something after this?" One elder asked after sometime. Wish gave him a curious look, as Darian nodded. "Yes...I would like everyone's attention. Please." The room grew quiet, as Darian took Wish's hand and got down on one knee. ((Me: I hear something...You: What?)) "Wish Sparum...Will you become out queen...And my wife?" ((Me:Wedding bells! You:Oh!))He said sweetly, opening up a small red velvet box, and pulling out the most gorgeous ring Wish had ever laid eyes on. She looked at Darian and smiled anxiously. "Yes!" She shouted hugging his neck and kissing his lips passionately. Again the room erupted into a roar of applauds and shouts of excitement for a wedding. Rain ran up to Wish and she hugged her tightly as Darian placed the ring on her finger and kissed her again. Darian looked at Rain and she met his gaze. He leaned over and kissed her lightly on the head. "You have a job too, little princess." Darian said smiling awkwardly. Wish smiled softly, ruffling Rain's hair. For a twelve year old girl, she was like such a little kid. But Wish loved her in every way. And she could see Darian easing up to her in a matter of time. Wish danced with Darian, smiling and laughing happily as he twirled her in the spotlight. She looked into his eyes, admiring the light violet, how exhilarating they looking in the dim glowing. But making his eyes seem to shine among everyone else. He kissed her forehead, bringing her chin up to kiss her lips softly and then deepen it passionately. They stopped in the middle of the dance floor, holding onto each other and not caring who was watching. Everything was so right, and going to well. Why ruin the moment? Darian pulled away slowly, looking into Wish's eyes, as she smiled brightly and giggled. He caressed her cheek making her smile more. She placed her hand over his and closed her eyes leaning on his hand.

Darian gripped Wish's hand slowly, leading her away from the crowd and noise and up to the king sized chamber room. He closed the door behind them, and Wish sat on the bed looking at Darian turn around. She smiled a goofy grin as he made his way over to her and sat down on the bed also. He crossed his hands behind her head and leaned back against the pillow. Wish turned her body looking at him as he closed his eyes to rest. "Tired already, huh? I wonder what it's going to be like in the future..." Wish trailed off looking at the ceiling. Darian opened his eyes looking at her weirdly. She met his gaze and they came closer to each other, locking lips and kissing passionately once again. Darian grabbed both sides of Wish's face and pushed the kiss even more. She smirked leaning back as Darian followed in pursuit of her lips. He was now on top of her. He was between her legs and he was laying flat on her. He looked at her with lust, and she smiled licking his cheek. "I love you, king Darian." She said below a whisper. Darian kissed her neck and nipped at her softly. "And I love you, Queen Wish." He replied. Wish smiled letting Darian take her away.

Chapter 22



Why did the day have to come so soon. It was less then 2 hours from Wish's death already, and she didn't want to come out of her room until then. She had locked Darian out and wouldn't even let him in. She just stood on her balcony, staring up at the dark blue sky, and the glowing stars in the distance. Half of the sky painted pink, orange, and purple, with a small tint of blue. But he rest, was the dark filled. The wind blew her thick hair in her face, making the smell of vanilla fill the air. She needed someone to comfort her, but she knew if she let Darian in, then she would lose it in front of him and she didn't want to do that. She wanted to stay strong like he had before, like he always was. A small acid tear slid down her cheek, landing on the floor and burning a hole. She sighed sadly, getting up and finally opening the door. Darian was on the railing of the stairs, staring down at nothing. Then he turned around and saw Wish. He smiled softly bringing her into a hug and she hugged back tightly. "Darian..I don't want to be away from you." She whispered into his shoulder. Darian ran his hands through her hair and pulled away slowly. "Don't worry...When time comes...I will make sure no one hurts you." He said quietly. Wish pulled away roughly looking at him in the eyes. "what are you planning, Darian?" She asked curiously, and worried that he was going to do something stupid. Darian looked into Wish's eyes but turned away soon after. Wish had a bad feeling in her stomach, and it was nagging her constantly. She grabbed Darian's face with both hands and turned him to her. "Darian..What are you planning?" She asked more sternly. "I'm planning on saving you." He replied. Wish shook her head. "That's not what I meant! I mean what are you going to do?!" She screamed frightened. Darian sighed softly, gazing behind her because he didn't want to look at her. "I'm not going to let them hurt you Wish. So, if they try to kill you. I will stop them." He said calmly." Wish shook her head furiously. "You will not! I don't want you doing that. Promise me that you won't do that, Darian!" Darian finally ripped his gaze away to stare at Wish in the eyes. He could feel the tears that wanted to escape from her, but he lowered his head. "I can't promise that...I have to do it for you. I love you too much for you to get killed by me. I won't allow it. I'm sorry, Wish" He said kissing her cheek then walking into his room and closing the door behind him. Wish just stood there, staring, not blinking. She was too shocked. Her hands at her sides as she stood straight. Until she fell to her knees and slid against her door. She buried her head in her hands and started crying again. Then she made a promise to herself. No matter how bad he would try, Wish would make sure Darian didn't get hurt. He was not going to die for her. Wish got up from the floor and walked down the stairs and out the door. She went to the lake that was a couple yards from the house and sat on the bench. This is where her and Darian had there second fight. She skimmed her hand over the bench, letting the leaves sprinkle off of the top and onto the floor. She sat down, looking up at the now pitch black sky, and the stars shining over head. She felt someone behind her, and sure enough it was Blaze. She smiled at him softly, scooting over to let him sit down. "Why are you out here?" She asked not looking at him, but the lake. She loved when the moon shined on the water. It made it look so majestic. "I came to get you..," He said looking at the lake also, "It's time to go."

What the hell!? I didn't think they would actually go!

Wish had gotten dressed quickly and was now in the car with Darian, Blaze, and Rainasha. She was crying contently in Wish's lap, as Wish stroked her head, trying to calm her down. "Please, Rain, no more crying. It will all be over soon. I promise you I will always be here and I will. I'll be watching over you forever, okay?" Rain muffled a small yes but remained crying until they reached the battle field where Wish was to be killed. As she got out of the car, the elders came up to her and she bowed just like everyone else. The elders came around, putting Wish in specific hand cuffs made just for her. There were many, many vampires there. How was she to stay alive long enough for Blaze and Darian to finish her off? She had no clue. Darian watched her with intent eyes, as the elders stood with her in the middle, her hands behind her back. Her eyes were closed and Darian knew she was trying to be brave and strong. But inside, she wanted to brake down right now. "You all know why you are here. Now each vampire MUST participate. It is the rules! Whoever wants to start off, do so now!" The elders said, placing Wish on her knees in front of everyone. Out of nowhere, one vampire came and slashed her across the chest. She winced in pain, as her wound healed quickly. She inhaled the cold air, opening her eyes to meet Darian's. His fists were clenched and she could see Blaze holding him back, eyes closed and not looking at the vicious murder happening. Rain was crying even more, as vampires came from everywhere slashing, clawing, kicking and swinging at Wish. Her face was slapped, her body kicked in the stomach numerous times. But she took it like she was supposed to. She was on the floor bleeding from all places. Her body tried healing all of them, but it was taking some time. Ribs were broken, and bones were misplaced. She coughed up some blood, making the eyes of a few vampires turn into blood lust. She hissed softly from the pain, then the circle opening reviling Rain, Blaze and Darian. Even children had did something. And Rain was next. "I don't want to! I don't want to hurt Lady Wish!" She screamed crying and holding onto Blaze. The elders held a firm look, as one came over and dragged Rain to Wish. "Do it! Or you will be killed next!" He shouted at her. Rain looked down at Wish, as she caught her gaze. "It's okay..Rain. I deserve it. Just get it over with. Im not worth dieing over." She stated simply. Rain shook her head furiously, her eyes swelled. The elder smacked Wish''s face making her head turn harshly. "That was for Rain." He said pushing the little girl out of the way. "Now, the king and his brother, will kill her off." Darian hissed lunging for the elder, but Blaze held him back. Darian walked up to Wish and knelled down in front of her. She stared up at him sadly, and he could feel she was almost gone already. "I will not do it! I will not hurt the one I LOVE!" He shouted to them. The elders were taken back, but were even more furious. "You dare go against the clan!?" "I am not going against anything! You are! You are killing one of your own. She was tricked by the Hunters! It was not her fault! Don't you get it?" He yelled back. The elders took out a small silver dagger. "Will you do it, king Blaze?" They asked calmly, looking at him. Blaze looked at Darian, to Wish, then back at the elders. "No. I cannot either." They frowned but nodded to themselves. "Then we..will kill her." Darian's eyes widened as the elder swung forward for Wish's heart, and then there were screams. It was like watching something in slow motion, yet it was normal speed. Blaze..had jumped in front of the knife, and was stabbed in the heart. Blaze was shocked himself, he didn't even feel himself moving towards it. He looked down, blood seeping from the side of his mouth, and he stared at Darian, who looked hurt more then ever. Darian called out his name but he didn't hear anything. Darian rushed forward catching his brother, before he fell to the ground. Darian held his brother, tears falling lightly down his face. "Blaze..Blaze come on man! Don't go. Blaze, don't close your eyes!" Darian screamed. But he was gone. Blaze took his last breath, before he shattered into ashes. Darian let Blaze's ashes fall softly onto the ground. He glared at the elders furiously. "Do you see what you done! You murdered the king! My brother! You owe a life. You either leave Wish's, or you die!" Darian shouted, eyes going coal black, as he lunged for the elders. They stepped back, putting up there hands. "We let Wish go...only because..we respect you..King Darian.." Darian's eyes widened...King?!

Chapter 21



Darian had been comforting Wish throughout the whole day. She was crying so many tears, and she was going through so much. Blaze had come into the room earlier with a flash light. He wanted to see what was wrong with Wish as much as Darian did. But it wasn't good news. He told Wish that from the strain in her eyes, when she would turn on her curse, was irritating her pupil at first. But then all the stress she had been going through, finally caught up with her and when her body shut down her pupil took a rest, you could say, and didn't expand like it should be doing right now. Nor did it contrast. It just stayed big and empty. The coloring in her eye didn't want to come back neither. Darian rocked her back and forth against his chest, kissing the top of her head as she sobbed. Wish sniffled a little coming down, and hiccuped softly into Darian's chest. "Darian...when do you think...I'll get..my sight back?" She muttered from Darian's chest. She could feel him shrugging and kissing her head again. "I don't know Wish...I just hope soon. I missed those red jewels. It makes you so unique and I love the way you are." Wish smiled softly leaning up and meeting Darian's lips. She closed her eyes, moving her lips with his. He bit at her lip softly, drawing blood like Wish had before and he licked it up slowly. Wish licked his lips and Darian parted them a bit, as Wish slipped her tongue and started a tongue war. Wish smiled into the kiss as Darian leaned against her, giving Wish more passion then she ever had. He flipped Wish over so that he was on top of her, and they were still kissing. Wish opened her eyes as there lips parted little ways. She looked up at him, but couldn't see anything and it was hurting her so much. She could feel him stroking her hair and just gazing at her. He kissed her neck softly, leaving little trails of kissing across her chest. She smiled sweetly, playing with Darian's hair. She ran her hand across his chest and again she could feel his gaze on her. Wish lifted up kissing his neck and nipping at him. She could feel his hiss softly from pleasure. Darian pulled her shirt up a little, kissing her stomach and going up from there, but stopped right below her breast. Wish tilted her head up to the ceiling like she was thinking, and she was. She looked back over at Darian, seeing nothing but darkness. He leaned up kissing her lips, whispering in her ear softly, "We can stop if you want. I don't want to force you or make you feel uncomfortable." He said sweetly. Wish thought for a moment, then kissed Darian's lips. She was only 15...but she was madly in love with him. Wish caressed his cheek, and shifted her body so it was completely under Darian's. "I love you..." She whispered softly. Darian's eyes widened in shock. He had never heard anyone say those words...Never to him like this before. He blinked after a couple seconds, and caressed her cheek also. "I love you too, Wish..." He said softly. Wish inhaled Darian's scent, making her nostrils flare a little as she felt Darian's cold hands on her stomach, and her shirt moving up and over her head. Darian's eyes boar into her, as he looked over her perfect body. He kissed the center of her breast and kissed up to her neck again. Darian pulled away slowly, lifting off his shirt and he could feel Wish breathing heavily. "You sure about this..?" Wish looked at him for a good minute, then nodded smiling slightly. "Just nervous is all." She said quietly. Darian nodded and threw his shirt on the ground. Picking up Wish and placing her on his lap, where she was facing him and her legs were wrapped around his waist. He unclipped her bra strap, making it fall between them as he pressed her against him. "I love you so much Wish...I'll make sure your safe and will always love you. Your my queen.." Darian leaned Wish down again, pressing against her, and soon after they were completely naked. Wish was happy and content..she was in love.

It was night already, and Wish had just woken up, feeling a little bit numb. ((Since it was morning when they did it, so yea...it's night.)) She blinked a couple times, seeing small lights, but she could see. The candles dances in her eyes and she smiled softly, she sat up on the bed, and for some reason she felt cold. She looked down at her exposing breast, and she squealed, covering up quickly. Her hand touched something warm next to her, and when she looked over she saw Darian...naked! Her eyes widened as she remembered what happened just a couple hours before. She laid back down on the pillow staring at Darian's sleep form. She moved her hand forward and touched his cheek softly, and causing him to mumble under his breath. She smiled sweetly, as she closed her eyes falling asleep again. Wish woke up a few hours later, feeling a body against hers. She didn't open her eyes but she could feel them staring at her and kissing her forehead. "You up yet?" He whispered softly. Wish snuggled back into the pillow and muttered inaudible words. Darian caught it though, chuckling at her stubbornness. She told him to leave her alone and let her sleep. Darian nibbled her ear causing her to twitched a big smile. She opened her eyes, looking at Darian's violet one's widen in excitement. She smiled even more and kissed his lips. "Yea, I can see again. Fascinating huh?" Darian nodded kissing on her neck and rubbing her stomach. Wish blushed softly, making Darian smirk on her neck. Wish then felt something tingle on her, so she pulled away softly and touched the side of her neck. She could feel two marks, and something around it. She looked at Darian strangely and he laughed to himself softly. "I should have told you before we started...When a male vampire loves another, and they have sex...They claim the female as there's...Sorry for not telling you." He said softly. But that just made Wish's day. She hugged him tightly while laughing. "It doesn't bother me a bit. I'm happy it was you, Darian." Darian smiled, sitting up on the bed and making Wish sit on his lap. She leaned the back of her head on his chest, as he wrapped his hands around her stomach. They were covered, but they were still naked. Darian was so happy. He had never felt like this before with anyone, and now he had claimed her as his. No one could take it away, or they would pay. He still didn't know what to do about the sentencing. In less then 24 hours..she would have to go to the death field and everyone would have to kill her. But he will not allow it. Even if she hated him forever, for trying to protect her with his life, he was going to do it for the one he loved. He looked down at Wish who was napping silently on his chest. He smiled at her and got from under her so he wouldn't wake her up. *She must still be tired from what happened...It was her first time...* He thought still looking at her. He went over and put on some boxers and jeans, then left the room to go to the kitchen. Darian met Blaze in the kitchen drinking some warm blood and he gave Darian an amused look. "Why don't ya keep the whole mansion awake later too." Darian flushed pink and he hissed at Blaze embarrassed. "We didn't do anything." Darian lied. Blaze chuckled to himself, looking at Darian's face. "Oh yea..Then why do you have smudges of lipstick on your neck?" Blaze said laughing more. Darian reached for his neck wiping furiously. "Just kidding, Darian. I knew ya were doing something." Darian just turned even more red, then he heard someone enter in through the kitchen. They turned to see Wish with shorts and a black tank top on. He hair was fixed and the mark was showing. Darian blushed like crazy as he saw Blaze looked at him with a smirk. Wish twitched a smiled knowing what they were talking about. "So," Blaze started, "How was it?" He finished smiling. Darian shot him a look and Wish started blushing now. "Interesting." She said after some time. She smiled softly, sitting in Darian's lap as he held into her waist and she ate some noodles Blaze had made. Blaze smiled on the outside, but was sad on the in. Yea he was happy, thrilled for Darian...But now, how is he going to go through with the sentencing. What's going to happen..Tomorrow night?

What is going to happen? God this is killing me!

Chapter 20



Shocked stares, gazing faces, and teary eyes, were all over the court room. Some vampires were muttering about how she had it coming. Others, the more soft ones, as you can say, muttered about how this was beyond the council. Now there were mutters, about how she should have something big coming, but this was so far extreme. No one would have thought, not even Blaze, that the council would have Wish die, by the hands of everyone in the vampire clan. That's right. Every single vampire, would come tomarrow and would HAVE to kill Wish. That includes Blaze...Rainasha..and Darian. Now can you imagine, the chaos, that will come on the next day...? But then the council cleared there throats, making everyone in the room, silent. "Also...adding to this verdict...The one's who will deliver the final blow," Wish's eyes got bigger then before. They were actually forcing more then one person to end her final breath. "The king and his brother will give her what she deserves. Pain for pain. No lives were taken...but there will be for what she has done to the king." Wish fell back, she couldn't take it anymore. Darian..and Blaze, had to end her life. No one else...but them. Yea, other vampires were to beat her and cause her pain. But what more pain to have, then your lover and the one she was to marry, kill her in front of everyone. Darian held onto her tightly, holding back anger as he hugged her from behind whispering he would never. He was telling her that they were to escape tonight and never come back. Just them two forever where she was to be safe in his arms and they could be free. Wish was too shocked to argue. Nothing processed through her mind anymore, and for the first time, her eyes went black. Blacker then any vampires eyes had went before. Her face held no emotion, like her body was a computer and the off switch was touched. Darian set her down looking at her strangly and worried. "Wish...? Wish what's wrong with you? Wish wake up!" Darian screamed shaking her softly. Blaze came up kneeling infront of her and looking at her curiously. "She blancked out Darian. Shock took over her body and everything shut down. She's going to be fine, but we should take her to rest." Blaze stood up looking at the council. "It seems that she has excepted the punishment." Blaze nodded with a serious face and court was dismissed. Darian carried her bridal style into the car while kissing her head the whole way there. He stared into her shiny coal eyes. Never had he seen the red disappeared like that. The red was totally gone. Not a tint in there. Unlike his, where you could see the shade of it, like all vampires, she was so oddly strange. More then ever now. The ride back home fell silent. No one in the car, not even Rain dared to speak. The eerie feeling in the car hadn't ceased and it was driving Darian crazy. He looked back at Wish staring at the foggy window. They didn't need coats anymore since the sun was hidden behind the thick gray clouds consuming the sky. Wish hadn't blinked, hadn't sighed, hadn't even gazed at Darian once the whole way to the mansion. When everyone got out of the car, Wish stayed behind, still looking at the sky. Darian's face saddened even more as he walked to her side of the car and picked her out of the vehicle. She carried her all the way into the mansion, then took her up stairs and placed her in bed.

Darian and Blaze sat in the kitchen, still not saying a word to each other. Things weren't going well, not one bit. But Darian had to strike one conversation with his brother that was just nagging at him since they left the council. "Are you going to do it?" He asked suddenly, startling Blaze who was in deep thought. He gave Darian a questioning look. But when Darian turned his eyes to him, Blaze reverted his gaze and sighed sorrowfully. Darian hissed loudly his eyes growing dark. "I can't believe you!" Darian said furiously. Blaze growled in his throat, glaring daggers at Darian. "You think I want to go through with this!? Do you honestly think I'm a cold bastard like that, Darian!?" "Well you must be if your going through with this!" He said slamming his fists down on the counter between them. "Darian," Blaze said sternly, "are you going against the elders?" Darian hissed more angrily. "I don't give a damn about the elders when it comes to the woman I love." He said through clenched teeth. Blaze closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. "Now, what are you planning on doing. Running away with her? Do you honestly think that's going to work Darian? I want to help her too, but going against the council is going to start a war between our own families!" Darian got up furious, throwing the chair against the wall, making it smash into pieces. "I will make sure she is alive. I will protect her, if it's the last thing I do!" He shouted. Blaze just looked at him frowning. "Your going to hurt her." Blaze said softly. Darian glared at him more. "I'm protecting her!" "How would she feel if you died because of her?!" Blaze shouted, getting up quickly too making the chair slam back, but this time remaining intact. Darian blinked, letting what Blaze said process through his mind. Wish would hate him for doing something so stupid. He knew she would be hurt and depressed if he ever did something like that. Then how was he supposed to save the one he loved so dearly? He didn't know the answer, not even part of it. Darian scooted another chair over, sitting down and just looking at the blank white wall. "Let her decide what she wants to do, don't try forcing her to do something...because it'll only make things harder." Darian didn't respond. He just kept thinking and thinking. How could he protect her...If he was to hurt her? Could a question this hard, be answered by anymore?! He looked a Blaze, sorrow all over his face as he got up and walked out of the kitchen slowly. Darian walked up the stairs to his room, putting on some music to ease the time and to distract him from the previous situations that had just occurred. The love of his life, would be killed by his own hands. He wouldn't do it. He told himself, if he did face punishment, then he would. He would never want to hurt Wish again. He promised himself that, and a promise he would never brake ever in his whole lifetime. He sat up on his bed, sitting and facing the door. He was arguing to himself, whether or not to visit Wish in her room to see how she was doing, or just leave her alone and go for a walk. He wanted to see Wish, and comfort her. So he chose option one. Darian put on a clean shirt and stride out of the room, slowly making his way to Wish's bedroom and placing his hand on the cold handle. He pushed it opened softly, closing it behind him so it could make too much noise and disturb her. Darian sat next to her on her bed, her eyes were finally closed meaning she had fallen asleep some time ago. He moved a strand of black hair from her eye, and then suddenly black cold ones stared up at him. He was shocked that they still hadn't went back to red. Wish blinked a couple a times. "Darian...?" She asked, her voice sounding a little frightened. "Yea..Wish what's wrong?" She started to shake terribly. "W-what time is it...?" She asked, her voice still holding fear. "It's like 3:30...still morning...Why?" She closed her eyes and then asked Darian, "Are there lights on in this room?" Darian looked at her strangly but answered, "Yes, Wish." Her body tensed and her eyes opened sharply. "Oh my god Darian! I can't see anything! I think im blind!"

Chapter 19



Night time had come and Wish was still choosing whether she wanted to run away with Darian, or face her punishment like she know she should. She had done something bad and it was time to pay the price. But being away from Darian, and this time forever, was going to kill her inside more then anyone knows. It was killing her just thinking about it. She laid her head on her pillow, looking at nothing in particular, just thinking is all. She couldn't sleep at all, no matter how hard she tried. After trial is when Darian said he needed her answer. He said he wasn't going to force her, but he loved her so much, and he didn't want to lose her like that. Before Wish knew it, it was morning already. She got up from the bed usually, and headed for her closet. After taking a shower, getting dressed, brushing her teeth and hair, she was ready for her trial punishment. She walked down the spiral stairs, and headed straight for the kitchen one last time before death. She had made up her mind when she was getting dressed. And she would tell Darian..as soon as they get into the court room. She sat down serving herself some cereal and a glass of blood. She could feel someone looking at her and she knew it was Darian. But she didn't want to look at him, she just wanted to get this day over with. Darian headed for the chair across from Wish and sat down to just look at her. Finally Wish looked up giving him a small smile then continued on with her cereal. He gave her a disgusted look, and she could feel it, so she looked up again curiously. "Ummm..did I do something to deserve that look? Do I stink?" She said checking herself while smiling. Darian chuckled and shook his head no. "That inferiors food. How can you eat it?" Wish looked at her cereal and laughed at Darian. "I can eat it because I used to, remember. And have you ever tried it?" She asked cocking up an eyebrow. Darian opened his mouth to say something, but closed it and frowned. "I don't want to. Just by looking at it makes me want to gag." Wish gave a disgusted look now. This just made her laugh more. "Try it. You never know. It's really good. Coco puffs are the best chocolate cereal ever. How can you not love it." ((I'm sorry, I just love coco puffs. But I'm still in love with Rice Krispies!!))Darian crossed his arms as Wish made her way around the table and sat on Darian's lap. "Eat it." She said while giggling. Darian stuck out his tongue like a child and Wish smiled. "You baby. It's not gonna poison you. Eat it." She said again. Darian looked at the spoon in front of him, and then at Wish. Doing this multiple Wish rolled her eyes. "If you eat it I'll kiss you." Wish said seductively. Darian's eyes widened and he opened his mouth wide. Wish almost fell out of Darian's lap laughing so much, but he caught her in time. But while smirking. She fed him the spoonful, and his eyes looked up while thinking. He swallowed and looked back at Wish smiling nervously. "I told you! You like it." She said while throwing up victory signs. She didn't know why Darian wanted to kiss her so bad. She thought about it for sometime then it hit her. She had never kissed Darian before. Only Blaze. This would be her first one with him. She smiled and looked at Darian take another bite of cereal. He smiled with his mouth full then chewed and swallowed again. "What?" He said smiling slightly. "Your so cute when you eat." Darian blushed softly and Wish leaned down kissing his lips. Darian was shocked at first but kissed back with so much more passion. She bit his lip softly, drawing some blood then licked it up. Wish pulled away a little bit, but her lip was still touching Darian's.

YES! Finally they kiss! I was waiting for that moment like, forever!!!!! ((^.^" Sorry...))

Blaze had witnessed the whole thing and smiled to himself. He was happy that Darian and Wish had finally been back together. He walked into the kitchen and sat across from and raised an eyebrow. Wish and Darian looked at him blushing madly. "So, are ya two love birds ready or what?" Darian and Wish looked at each other sadly but nodded in unison. "Look, I know non of you want to be apart from each other, but whatever the council has decided, it has to be done. I'm not saying this to make things bad, but it's the rules. And if we disobey them, things only get worse." Wish nodded getting off of of Darian slowly. She took another bite of cereal and started walking towards the door but stopped. "How are we going to get there?" Blaze chuckled to himself, pulling out some trench coats. "Wear these until we get to the council. We don't want you burning into ashes." Wish rolled her eyes playfully but put on the jacket and fixed her hair again. Darian hugged her from behind, kissing her neck and she enjoyed every one of them. She sighed opening the door and feeling the heat on her body. She hissed softly getting into the car and they were off. Darian was in the front with Blaze, and Rainasha was next to Wish asleep. She smiled softly, stroking Rain's hair and kissing her head. Whispering soft words into her ear. Darian and Blaze stared at her through the mirror. They smiled at how cute those two were together. Wish was like a mother, even for her young age. A couple minutes later they were at the courthouse for vampires, and Wish was more nervous then ever. She knew what the sentencing was...but how bad was it going to be when they announce it to her? Will they be harsh and just tell her off? Or will they give her a chance to explain and then tell her that it could not be forgiven, letting her think it over? So much ran through her mind, she didn't even notice that she was already at the defense table. She noticed when Darian nudged her softly in the stomach and she twisted towards him with sad eyes. She averted them quickly and stood strong ground. She would not cry in this room, she would not show weakness. Wish could see the council entering the room. They were old, and she could tell everyone respected then dearly because all the vampires, including Wish, bowed lightly. She sat down in her seat taking breaths and just wanting for all of this to be over. "Wish Sparum, you are here, because of the danger you have put this clan in. For over thousands and thousands of years, we have treasured, and kept this clan at peace. How is it, that one young girl could almost ruin it?" Wish bit her lip, keeping in the tears ready to explode. "You almost gave away secrets to the Hunters, betrayed us to get revenge, and almost killed the king! And his own brother! What do you have to say for yourself!?" They yelled at her viciously. Wish closed her eyes, taking in the moment then reviling them to the council. "There is nothing I can say. I was wrong, I know what I did could never be forgiven. I went on my own selfish ways...And I regret it dearly." She said, keeping her eyes in direct contact with one elder specifically. The one on the far right sighed heavily. "We had thought that the prophecy was a gift to us. That you could help us finally settle out things, with those Hunters. To end war and begin a whole new life. You were to be queen. But it seems everything was too real. We have already made a verdict. Punishment will be..." Wish placed her head down, knowing it would be death by them, "Death! By everyone in the clan!" Her eyes shot up quickly. She started breathing hard, and those tears were finally let out.

Chapter 18



Wish was in her room eating when she heard the door click, and in came Rainasha. She ran up to Wish so quickly, knocking her off the bed and crying. Wish rocked her back and forth trying to calm her down, saying to quiet down in a sweet voice. "Now, what's the matter Rainasha?" "I missed you so much Lady Wish! I thought I was never going to see you again." She muffled into Wish's night shirt. Wish smiled softy stroking her hair and pulling her off slightly. "I'm sorry I had you worried Rain...but I just..had to think for awhile." Rainasha smiled softly, brightening up a little. "Blaze said that you wouldn't come back..." I gave her a face looking at the door. "When did he say this Rain? And how did he say it?" Wish asked above curiosity. "He said that a few months ago. He was really sad about it...But are you going to be queen Lady Wish?" Wish gave her a sad look. *So they haven't told her yet.* She thought to herself. "Lady Wish..are you okay?" Wish quickly smiled down at her nodding. "Just fine. And stop calling me Lady Wish Rain. You know, I only look older then you because my body matured faster. And I will stay like this age until I die. But you...you'll look older then me in no time." Rain squinted one eye giving the thought a disgusting look. "I don't wanna look old and wrinkly. I want to stay pretty and young like you." Wish giggled at the small child. She gave her a hug, helping her off the floor. Just then , Wish felt someone coming up to the door, "Rainasha Frill! Weren't you supposed to clean your room...." He trailed off looking from Rain to Wish. Blaze stood there shocked. Wish twitched a smile while Rain pouted. "I don't want to. I wanna play with Lady Wish." Wish leaned down giving her a tight hug. "The faster you clean, the faster we get to play all day." Wish replied for Blaze. Rain's eyes lit up immediately and she rushed out of the room quickly screaming, "I will be done in 5minutes flat!" Wish couldn't help but laugh at the sight, turning her gaze back up to Blaze. She waved awkwardly at him, but he just stood there looking at her. She sat on the bed crossing her feet and just stared up at him. But the silence was getting too much and she started up a conversation. "So...How have you been Blaze..?" He blinked a few times, studding at first, "G..Good. Um...you?" She sighed slowly looking around the room. "Ehh...I've been okay. Quiet and lonely, but okay. I haven't talked for months, and now I feel like I'm starting over...sorta." Blaze nodded, looking at the ground below him and thinking. "Don't worry Blaze. If I die then I die. I already know how it is..It doesn't scare me anymore. I just only Wish none of this had happened." Blaze looked up slowly meeting her eyes. "Darian is crushed. That's another main thing I'm worried about. Everyone in the clan must me there when they make the decision. And if they choose death...then Darian has to watch it also. He might go crazy and kill someone. Then he will be sentenced death also." Wish gulped loudly, playing with her fingers. "I don't want him dead. I...I didn't mean to hurt you or him. I was just so mad..like my powers blocked my whole heart and I felt nothing but cold and the need for revenge. Kale pushed everything so hard. When..when he took me outside in the sun..I grew angry there, I want to kill him. But then he told me about my mother. Which turned the anger to you and Darian. Then I was especially mad at Darian because my anger built from thinking about how he left me..and how he had hurt me." Blaze nodded coming over to her bed and putting an arm around her shoulder. "I know...It had happend to me once. When I had first became king, I had met another vampire female who lived in the village. She would walk around everyday at the same store. Looking at the jewelry. I couldn't help but follow her and see the brightness in her eyes every time she would look at them with such wanting. I wanted her to look at me like that. It was love at first sight you could say. Well, one day I decided to buy it..and give it to her as a present. The first time I was too shy, and it took me awhile to get to know her. When I finally did, I felt so happy with myself. I believed whenever she told me she loved me. When we would kiss and I would always want to hold her. But sadly..everything shattered when I found out that she was telling the Hunters all about me. Giving them tips on how to bring me down. So...we had to sentence her death...I loved her for so long..It seemed like we could never be apart. But I don't want you and Darian to be like that," He said slowly, making Wish blush and stare at him quickly, "I know you love Darian so much, and I can't describe how much he loved you. But I want you to be happy, just like I want him happy." Wish nodded her head. "But..I can't be with him now...it's too late. I will be sentenced in lest then 24 hours. And then whatever they choose, I know it will be death Blaze. You you know it..tell me the truth."

The truth!?!? What else is he keeping!?!?!

Blaze sighed sadly, already telling Wish the bad news. Her head dropped low, and she let a tear slip from her eye. "What did they say...?" She asked slowly, bringing her head back up to look into Blaze's green eyes. "They told me already...That it will be death. They say that you had hurt the king, and put the clan in top danger. They say your punishment should not be forgiven...and you shall pay with life..." He finished muttering. Wish nodded laying back onto the bed while looking at the ceiling. "The afterlife is weird..ya know? It's pretty amazing, but you don't know where to go. Like when your placed there, you have to find your way around things. I have seen many things...but this was just weird. This place...was like no other. I can't even describe it," She said slowly, "Maybe I will go back there. And meet that man again.." Blaze raised his eyebrows, "Man? Are you seeing someone else?" Blaze said jokingly. They didn't know but Darian had been at the door for quite sometime, but after he heard that Wish was to be killed, he stormed off to his room angrily, thinking of a way to get Wish to escape. Wish giggled but shook her head no. "Mm-mm...But he reminded me of you Blaze. And Darian. He..he looked really powerful. And I can tell he was a vampire because he had a marking, Of the Vamp's...He was fairly tall and handsome..And he looked really young, but I could tell he was old." Blaze blinked a couple times, registering the information he had gotten, "Wish..Did he have baby blue eyes and black hair in a ponytail?" Wish raised herself on her elbows, looking at Blaze strangely. "How did you know? But yea..He did." Blaze nodded then turned around staring at the door. "That..was my father you just saw." Wish quickly sat up on the bed again looking at Blaze. "I..I didn't know. I'm sorry I brought it up." She said in a whisper. Blaze turned around smiling a sharp grin at her. "It's fine. Just shocking is all." Blaze stood up from the bed and headed for the door. He looked back at Wish once more, "Looks like Rain had a lot more to clean up after all. Get some rest, I'll call when dinners ready." Wish nodded thankfully and slipped back under the covers. She sighed again, closing her eyes and easily drifting into a nice sleep. But woke up when she felt her bed sink. She looked up meeting Darian's worried eyes. She sat up looking at him strangely, but then he pulled her into a hug. "I don't want you to die..." He whispered into her neck. *So he knows* Wish thought to herself. He pulled away looking at her. "I'm going to help you escape tonight. And i'm going with you."

Chapter 17



Dazed as can be, Wish woke up, her hands feeling really sore, and she was freezing. She shook her head, trying to get her eyes focused on where she was. But she sighed as she saw she was in a cellar. And she was chained up on the wall. Her feet were also bound together so she couldn't move at all. I mean she couldn't even pull her foot 1 centimeter without her foot getting caught in the chain. She hissed in annoyance, but took her mind off of that when she saw someone at the cellar door. And her temper boiled up again. "You ass! Let me down from here," she screamed at Darian. He didn't seem fazed at her reaction, just very sad. He opened the door, walking up to her slowly, but she hissed, warning him to back off. He stopped a few feet from her, just staring into her eyes. "Why do you hate us so much?" He asked. Wish turned her head to the side and muttered, "You ruined my life." Darian sighed sadly, watching as she tried to rip out of then chains. "Why don't you just let me down and die?" She said calmly. Looking very bored, she turned her attention back to him. He glared at her slightly, but not with hatred, he could never again give her that look. He loved her way to much. Darian walked closer to her, no matter how many hisses she sent out, he was face to face with her. She started breathing heavily through her nose, wanting to shred him apart. "Why do you say that? That is the past. And for the 2nd time..I didn't know she was your mother...I didn't know I would get so close to you, and neither did my brother. It was something that happened." He looked at her so sadly, "Why do you threaten the clan this way? You betray us like your not one of us. Like you have always hated us." Wish growled in her throat. "Because," She said slowly, "It was your fault Darian! You caused me so much pain! I loved you and I didn't have the slightest idea why. I had no clue, I was empty. You left me, gave me the cold shoulder, and back stabbed 'me' when I needed you. You chose Emerald over me and you lost me. It's all your fault I'm like this! I can't even control my emotions right anymore!" She yelled, taking deep breaths still keeping her gaze on Darian. He wouldn't take his eyes off of her. "It's not my fault I had fallen in love with you, Wish. I got mad that day at the party, and I couldn't forgive you because of the way you made me feel. I was mad that you were giving so much attention you Blaze." "You dropped me as soon as Emerald showed up! Your brother actually payed attention to me!" She argued back. "You know...the clan has found out about what happened. Some say you should be sentenced death, others say exile, and some say to leave you be. Unfortunately, it's up to the elders to decide it." Wish lowered her head, glaring at the chains on her feet, "If it shall be the punishment...death, then so be it. If it is exile...then so be it. And if it's so leave me alone, then fine. But I will take whatever I get," She then looked at him coldly. "You can block me away as long as you want, But I know I tried my hardest to get my mothers revenge." She growled lowly. Darian gave her a glare. "Why do you do this? Why can't you just fight for 'yourself' instead of the right thing or others?!" He yelled frustrated all over again. Wish didn't look at him immediately, but suddenly her face expression had changed. "I fear that the one I love will die while I am alive. And for even if I'm dead...one's suffer for me. It is my life mission to help many who have helped me. Keep me safe. I want to repay them. I will say I am sorry for hurting you, But I ill never forgive how you took my mother from me." And that was the last thing she said. Darian just overlooked her face, just encase if she was lying, but he saw all was the truth. He hesitated at first, but placed his hand on her cheek, making her jump and stare at him. "What are you doing?" She asked. For once she wasn't asking coldly, or like her emotionless self, she was asking like she had used to before. "I missed the feeling of your skin...I have always wanted to kiss you, and hold you. But I have lost my chances many times...I only wish I would have done it sooner." He said sadly. She looked intensly into his eyes, but lowered her gaze. "I have felt the same, but sadly things change. There is nothing between you and me Darian...face it. We can never be together. I am one who destroys lives with my own." "And I don't?!" Darian screamed at her. She shook her head. "You can choose whether you want to or not. But I...My destiny has been chosen Darian."

Are they making up...???

Wish felt relieved and felt some weights lift off of her shoulders. She had finally come out with it, and she was fine with Darian again...But she still felt a little bit of hate towards him. "Darian...when will the trial begin?" She asked hesitantly. Darian's hand dropped to his side and he glared at the wall. How could he tell her...that the trial was tomorrow. And as soon as her sentence was said...it would begin the next day. He looked up at her slowly, overlooking her face features again. He took a breath, not wanting to tell her lies, "Tomorrow afternoon. Around 4:30 or so." He stated sadly. Wish's face dropped, but then she began to think. "How are they to kill me...If when they do I will destroy everything around me?" She asked. That just made Darian's face drop even more. He sighed rubbing his temples. "W..What's wrong?" She asked a little scared. Not much..just a little. "They found a loophole. If They kill you..IF, I'm hoping it's something small...As soon as they kill you, a barrier is to be put around you. Once that happens, chants will be said and your powers will be sealed, causing them to be trapped in your body and never let out again." He explained slowly. Wish nodded, closing her eyes very tired. Darian unlocked her chain and she fell onto his shoulder. "Why are you so tired?" Wish sighed, a yawn following soon after. "To tell you the truth..ever since I have been having these dreams about you..I didn't know it was you..I would stay awake for weeks, then thinking it was over fall asleep one day and it would happened again. And it so happens that when I fainted, it was the first time I slept in 8 days. She said tiredly. Darian shook his head unbelievably . "I cant even imagine why you did that." He picked her up bridal style, carrying her off to her old room. "You need your rest..tomorrow..you see the council.." He said, as Wish fell asleep in his arms.

Chapter 16



Darian stood there replaying the options Hirade had given him. Which was a)Give her Wish's memories and she wont remember anything. Or b)Sacrifice someone he loves or himself, for her life back. They were both so hard for him. I mean wouldn't it be for you. Choosing whether your lover doesn't remember you, or giving up your life and never seeing her, while she still hates you. But she's alive. Or giving up someone dear...so she could live even though she hates you. Option A seemed better..because then he could watch over her..even though he couldn't be anywhere near her. Which he hated. Her vampire senses would surely detect him, but he would make sure to get away before she could spot him. He wanted her to live a carefree life. Even if that meant losing what he loved. Darian took in a breath and opened his eyes from when he was thinking. He stared at Hirade, and like she could read his mind, took Wish and placed her on the ground. "Now..Don't worry if you see her starting to fidget. It might hurt he a little, but all is good." Darian nodded slowly, looking back down at Wish. He stepped away from Hirade as she was chanting her spells. She walked around Wish in circles, raising her hands up high while closing her eyes. First it started off slow, but then her chants grew faster and faster. Darian felt the wind around him quicken, lightning bolts shooting down onto the ground. Trees busted into flames more and more. Until..everything stopped suddenly. Time actually froze. Darian looked around the area, then looked back at Hirade. She leaned against the tree with exhaustion. "It was tough...But I did it. Let her rest for one day...and she will wake up again. But remember Darian. Her memory is gone, so if you ever try to see her again. Make sure to take things slow." Darian nodded his head slowly, watching as Wish's chest moved up and down. Hirade straightened herself up and pulled out a red glowing orb. "I will keep her memory safe. But, I will experiment on it to see what this vampire is about. Now heed my warning Darian. Do not try to provoke her in remembering. It may cause her to lose control. If she remembers, it should be on her own. And also remember, she only knows she's a vampire." Darian growled softly in his throat, nodding for the 5th time that time. Then he felt everything move around him again. Telling him that Hirade unfroze time. "Good..Good bye cousin." She said walking off and vanishing before his eyes. Darian picked Wish up slowly, moving the hair from hr pale face. Her lips were partly open, and her face looked like she was in pain again. Darian sighed walking out of the woods, to see that everything has stopped burning and vanishing. He walked down the path slowly, making sure to spend the last moments with her alone. But it seemed that he was walking to fast because before he knew it, he saw Blaze outside the house the mansion. Looking awfully pissed. Darian stopped in front of Blaze stiffly. Blaze's cold black eyes never looked away from Darian. "What are you doing? Trying to kill the whole clan!? If she destroys every-" "She's alive.." Darian interrupted calmly. Blaze looked at him furious. "Darian, she isn't coming alive! Why can't you see that she is gone!?" "Look dammit!" Darian yelled back holding Wish up. Blaze looked down angry, but when he saw her breathing again, his eyes went back to there light green, and his face softened a bit. "H..how?" Darian had explained about running into Hirade and about her doing the chant. Blaze went from being shocked about running into her, to being upset that she lost her memory, to shocked again from Darian saying that they should stay away from her. "I understand. So, we should take her back to her house now." Darian nodded getting up and picking Wish up bridal style. Rainasha came into the living room just as they were about to leave from the room. "Blaze..What's wrong with lady Wish?" Blaze looked over and Rainasha and knelled down to her level. "Lady Wish won't be with us anymore Rain. She has to go now." Rainasha blinked, tears swelling up in her eyes. "But..who will be here when your busy. I usually play with Lady Wish..." Blaze sighed and closed his eyes. "I'm sorry Rainasha. But she has to go home now. Okay?" She nodded hugging Blaze and running up to her room. He looked at Darian and walked over to the door. "Lets go."

There really doing it?! But what's gonna happen!?!?

It had been months since Darian and Blaze had left Wish alone. Seeing that she had hardly remembered anything, she felt alone again. And once again, she was mute. Wished hadn't talked for months now, thinking that she never did. But everyday she had this empty feeling in her heart. She didn't know why, but it felt like huge chunks of her were gone. And she couldn't remember what they were from. And every night, she would have dreams about someone. Like she knew them or something. He was so tall..and she knew they must have been important..because why else would they show up in her dreams every night. He seemed so...special to her. She would even daydream about him for ours. But could she have met him before. No..or else she would have definitely remembered. She would always drop it after sometime, until it happened again. It was dusk and Wish had finally left the house. She walked along the dirt path kicking at the stones, when she suddenly bumped into someone. She heard them hiss, but suddenly stop and move away. Wish looked up slowly, overlooking the person that stood before her. *Did he just...hiss?* she thought to herself. The guy blinked down at her and backed away slowly. She reached her hand out but he just looked at her. She could see the odd color of his eyes. No human had violet eyes, and she could see his sharp teeth sticking out of his mouth. She glared at him for some reason, she didn't know why. But she felt herself go around him and walk in a different direction. *Why do I feel like I should hate him? This is weird..* Just then a flash went through Wish's mind, like lightning speed. *Darian..Darian...why is that so familiar?* She asked herself. She shrugged it off and went looking for her fill of blood. Darian had just watched her walk by without saying anything. She was so different now. Once again, she seemed distant to everyone. He sighed to himself walking the other direction of Wish. He hadn't seen her in some time. No, he didn't even bother watching over her. If he saw her, he would want to go after her and try helping her remember him. But he knew he couldn't, so he avoided her. Wish had always crossed his mind, but now he had a new picture of her. Her eyes were much more intense then before, and her face was even more beautiful. Her body just made him want to grab her, and pull her close to me so badly. But sadly, none of this could happen. Darian thought it would never happen again. Would it? Could it? He didn't know. But he wished he did. He stopped in the middle of the path looking back to wear they had met again. He sighed once more, before continuing on with his own hunt. Wish had turned around to where she had met that guy. Just then more flashes flew into her mind blurring her vision. She clung her head in pain and crashed onto her knees. Wish started to breath a little heavy like, but she finally caught her breath. *Darian..that guy..was..no. It couldn't be! But..No what happened?* Her eyes grew bright again as she turned her head in his direction quickly. *I still haven't had my revenge..* She thought evilly in her mind. She got up and raced towards where she last saw Darian. And faintly she saw him in the distance, until he drew closer, and closer. Her hands glowing brightly, and she struck. Right in the back, he fell forward yelling in pain. He turned his head angirly only to see Wish. His eye's flashed from black to violet a couple times. He didn't know whether to be sad that she went to killing him again, mad that she was trying to kill him, or happy that she finally she finally remembered him. Darian moved out of the way before Wish could hit him again. She hissed hatefully, glaring at him non-stop. "Wish, control yourself!" He screamed, ducking from another punch from Wish. Wish just kept on glaring, not caring who she hurt. "I..I will never forgive you! You don't deserve to be here. My mother didn't deserve for her life to be taken away! But you didn't care. All you cared about was taking me so you could have strength. I hate you!" She yelled, her fist glowing to the max, she swung at Darian, hitting him right in the face. Darian flew back, crashing onto the ground moments later. Wish's power subsided. Her power was so much, it burned part of her hand, but she acted like she didn't feel a thing. Darian laid there breathing really shallow. She panted roughly, dropping to her knees and crying. "I hope you die alone." She hissed, dropping to the floor unconcious.

Chapter 15





Darian had been at Wish's side, watching her face glow and darken from the trees busting up in flames and then being blown away into ashes. She looked so peaceful now that she didn't have an angry glare on her porcelain face. He had no expression playing in her eyes, but his movements of the body said everything. The way he moved her hair out of her face every time the wind blew it there. The way he shifted her head onto his lap, wanting her to feel safe...even though she was gone already. And how he looked at her. Never taking his eyes away from hers. Just wanting to see them open again, and have her blood red eyes staring up at him. Blaze was upset like Darian, but he could never feel the same sadness as Darian did. Yea, he loved Wish dearly, and he wished that he could have her as a bride. But looking down at his brother, to see the way they were together, even if she was alive, he could never take her away from Darian. But he also had to be leader, and now Darian had to leave her there and get away before he was killed also. It was his job to protect his people. But most importantly, to protect his family. "Darian, lets go. It's too late, sitting there isn't going to bring her back, and giving your life wont either. You have to see that this is real life, she's not going to come back." He said touching his brothers shoulder, only to have them shrugged off coldly. Blaze sighed in frustration, raising his hands to his eyes and shaking his head. He saw that the forest near by was disintegration slowly, and everything looked like it was burning in acid, melting away. Blaze growled in his throat and grabbed Darian's shoulder pulling him up roughly, making the cold dead body of Wish crashed unto the ground. Darian only looked down at it, but turned his hateful glare to Blaze. Blaze's eyes flashed black telling Darian he wasn't playing. "She's not coming back! Don't you get it. We will find Kale and make him pay, even though revenge gets us no where, he should pay for what he did. But there's nothing we can do right now. Leave her. Let her go in peace." Darian had had it. "You may let her go easily but I never can! She was more then just a clan to me! She was everything. Giving her up isn't easy like your doing. Obviously you never cared for her and was lying about it to her face!" Darian was slammed into the building wall, but he remained unfazed. "Don't you ever say I didn't love her! I love her with all my heart, but I know that I can never love her as much as you do. And even though she despised us in the end its hard to believe she ever did. I didn't want her to end up dieing with hatred for us and in a cold death by a vampire hunter. I didn't ever think it would be like this. But things happen! Grow up and get used ot it!" Blaze yelled at his younger brother. Darian glared and looked away angrily, but not wanting to end up hating his brother. Darian moved away from Blaze, catching the body of Wish lying limp on the ground. He walked over to her and picked her up bridal style. Blaze placed a hand on his shoulder from behind and sighed with sadness. "Let's make sure she gets a peaceful funeral." Darian didn't respond in anyway, but started to walk off with her in his arms. Blaze followed a little after looking at the surrounding's and watching them burn up. If he didn't get Darian away from her soon, he would die also. He didn't have very long. Maybe in a few hours, the prophecy would become reality also and then thats when things will get worse. When time passes, her powers will know that she is no longer with us and start to destroy everything around her without hesitation.

What's gonna happen next???

Blaze had been watching out for Darian for sometime now. Every time he would take his mind off of them, something around him would explode into nothing, or just vanish into thin air. And every time that happened, the alarm in his head would try thinking of a way for him to tell Darian to let her go and get out of there. No he didn't want to leave Wish. No he didn't want to Darian to make him feel like he was abandoning her. But he needed to protect his clan still, and he can't do that if they were dead. they neared a small stream and he saw Darian stop and stare at it like it started to memorize him. "Darian...let's go. We don't have time to stop." Darian turned his head slowly to his brother, only for Blaze to witness he Darian was crying. "I'm going to bury her here...Can you please just meet me at the house...?" Blaze gave him an unsure look..but nodded anyway and walked off. Darian walked up to the stream slowly, still looking down at Wish with the most saddest eyes he had ever had. No emotion radiated over him like this one right now. How could he have fallen for another? He never wanted to feel this pain. That's why he never fell in love. To keep away from this burdened emotion that caused so much grief in people's lives. "Why did you have to go?" He asked solemnly..."Why did you make me experience such pain?!" He yelled, more tears slipping from his eyes. They landed on Wish's delicate cheeks, then rolling down her face. He caressed her lip with his finger, how soft they still were. How he wished to just feel them again. With her kissing back at him. Just then he heard a rustle in the bushes. Darian picked up Wish and hissed. "Who ever is there, show your god damned face!" He yelled angrily, his eyes turning black. He didn't like people finding out his weak sides. It angered him to the max. ((That was a sudden change in mood lol)) He then saw an young woman, wearing a black skirt with two slits on each side. The skirt went down to her ankles. She had bracelets everywhere. She had a black shirt that only covered her chest, reviling everything else. Her hair was a glowing silver, with a gold halo on her head. ((No she's not an angel))She had the pale face of a vampire, and the beauty of one too. But Darian could feel and smell the difference. "A witch...? What the hell do you want Hirade? ((It's Her-a-de with an eee sound not eh k? k.))He asked with a slight bitterness to his voice. She laughed softly to herself, "I couldn't help but overhear your loudness Darian. But, what really caught my attention, is that you actually had fallen in love." Darian hissed again, telling her to back off. "Oh dear Darian, don't be like that to your cousin. I'm only trying to help you Darian." Darian scoffed at her excuse. "Help by making everything worse..." "Don't you want her back. I can bring her back Darian...But at a cost." Darian stopped ans thought for a moment. How bad could it be...and he did want Wish back with all his heart. "What do you want?" Harade smiled and walked closer, rubbing Wish's cheek, "Not much dear Darian...just her memory, is all." Darian's eyes widened. *Her memory...then..how am I going to tell her I'm sorry for what I did...How is she supposed to love me again or know I love her?* "But then...won't she freak out about being a vampire if her memory is gone?" Hirade had been stroking Wish's hair when she looked up at Darian. "That is the thing..She will only remember her being a vampire. She will think that once you bit her...You vanished and she never saw you again. Your face will vanish from her mind. Your's and Blaze's. Rainasha, and even Kale. But her powers will still be awoken." Darian stared down at Wish again. "It's either that...or there another option Darian..."

Chapter 14





Wish paced around the room in the same spot over and over. She was becoming irritated that Kale was taking so long to bring Darian and Blaze to her. She was going to bite his head off the next chance she gets. She sat on the couch and picked up a jelly pastry on the table. She bit into it letting the gooey filling seep into her mouth and savoring the delicious taste. She then heard faint footsteps down the hall and she placed the pastry on the table in front of her, just in time for Kale to come running into the door panting and holding up his hand telling her he would explain in a second. She was irritated enough, but she waited. Kale took one more breath then straightened himself and smiled. Wish raised her eyebrow then glared telling him to hurry up. "There here. It seems that Emerald has pulled through and brought them as planned." Wish's glare deepened. *Emerald? I'll kill that wench too.* She got up from the couch and Kale told her to follow. Wish smirked widely loving the fact that revenge would soon be coming. You would think that she would have a tiny bit of regret. But no. Wish was regret free. She was even thinking of ways to kill Darian first then going after Blaze. She felt no pain, for what she was about to go through. Kale led her to another door and finally they stopped at a cellar. Inside she saw Darian chained up, his head down and his clothes ripped. She could also see that his wounds were not healing. *They must have used silver on him and holy water.* She thought, judging from the burns on his shoulder and right arm. She made a crooked smirk and Kale opened the cellar. She walked in moving close to Darian, as soon as she got close enough, he opened his eyes and started to attack. That is until he noticed Wish there looking at him with her evil smile forming on her lips. Darian's eyes widened as he noticed what was going on. Darian was mad and upset at the same time. "What are you doing with 'them'?!" He yelled looking hatefully at Kale through the bars. *How could she betray her clan? How could she at a time like this, when war is about to brake out?!* Darian thought to himself, not noticing that Wish was reading every thought that came to his mind. Wish glared at Darian hatefully and it took him only a second to see that she was mad at him. "'They' made me realize that you caused me all my pain in my life. You made me suffer and you didn't even recognize it." "What are you talking about? If it's the Emerald thing I-" "YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!" Darian's eyes couldn't get any bigger as she screamed at him with bright red eyes. "I didn't even know your mother. How could I have killed her?!" "Let me explain, will you Wish?" Kale said bitterly walking up next to Wish. She shot him a look but nodded anyway crossing her arms and staring at the empty wall. "On June 5th, you and your brother went to a human supermarket, looking for a special type of blood, namely, Wish's blood. But it turned out that a vampire hunter was near by and happened to attack you to stay away from the human. You and your brother ended up killing that vampire hunter and the other human. That vampire hunter, Wish's mom."

Wish hissed softly to herself, deepening her hatred for both brothers. She quickly turned back to Darian and her powers were starting to awaken again. Her face glowed in the blue light and Kale backed up from the cellar. "Wish..I didn't know she was your mother." "So you admit you killed her? I don't care if you knew or not! You ruined my life either way! And your going to regret every meeting me, Darian." For a 15 year old girl, she was full of so much stress, anger, and sadness. With all of that combined she flustered evil in her blood, and no room for any good whats-so-ever. She held her hands up to her face, but never took her eyes from Darian. Not. Once. The chains were unlocked and Darian landed on his feet to the floor. Wish hissed and striked at him, making a blow right to his chest. He flew against the brick wall, blowing a huge hole to the outside. Good thing it was dark, so Wish could finish him off. She stepped out walking over to the paralyzed Darian. Yeah he could move, but he was paralyzed because Wish is actually trying to kill him. She made a fist punching his stomach, making a gash not easy to heal. The worst thing was that Darian still recovering from his earlier wounds. She was going to strike his head but her wrists were being held by someone. She turned her head quickly meeting Blaze's cold eyes. She hissed loudly, but Blaze never backs down. He is king. Wish struck her wrist back, aiming for his hand but he pulled away in time. He glared at Wish and she glared back. Blaze looked into her eyes trying to find the slightest hint that she knew this was wrong. But of course he found nothing but hate in her bright red beauties. He sighed sadly, changing his neon green eyes, to cold black ones. They had a hint of red in them, showing that he was not going to hold back. Wish looked from Darian to Blaze. Darian was wincing in pain, trying to close the wounds but it was no use. She looked back over to Blaze, charging up her powers and throwing fists at Blaze. Blaze was dodging everything barely but had managed to move in time. Wish was growing mad that he was toying with her, even though he was supposed to be serious. "Why are you doing this, Wish? Your making a mistake!" Blazed yelled, ducking his head from streaks of bolts came flying at his head. He was trying to calm her down enough to just talk without at least fighting. Wish lowered her arms still heated with hate, but calm enough to control herself. "I'm getting revenge!" Blaze frowned at her, asking with his face, what had he done? Wish growled in her throat. "You killed my mother..." She repeated what she had said to Darian. Blaze looked shocked. *How did she find out...? Kale must have told her. No wonder she's so mad.* Blaze looked at her sadly, just enough time to power up and strike his head. And that's exactly what she did. Charging forcefully, she pushed the blow towards Blaze and it was direct hit. He flew back, hitting multiple trees and into a cement wall close by. Her powers subsided and her face went dark. She looked at Darian, who she saw his eyes went cold black also. But he was still badly hurt. Kale walked up to her and gave her black gloves. She took them from him and looked at the dagger her grandparents had given to her some time ago.

After putting on the gloves she took the dagger slowly and walked up to Darian. She stared down at him with no expression, and bent down to his level. He still glowered at her with so much hatred, he knew how she felt now. But he didn't forgive her. Suddenly he got up, towering on top of her and hissing loudly. Flashing his fangs at her. The dagger dropped to her side, and with the corner of her eye saw Kale reaching for the dagger. She wanted to kill Darian, not Kale. So once he went stabbing for Darian, she rolled over, getting the dagger in her back. Her eyes widened in pain, and Darian's widened in shock. She coughed to the side some blood. Everyone could hear the dagger burning in her, and smoke coming from her back. Wish's eyes went back to the normal red color, and her power subsided completely. "Oh no..." Kale whispered. Cursing every word he knew. Darian got up looking at Wish closing her eyes slowly. She started to breath heavily, and smoke was coming from her mouth. Her insides were burning quickly, and in less then 5minutes, she would be dead. "This isn't good. I have to leave, everything is going to go into chaos!" Kale yelled running into the building and sounding some kind of alarm. Darian reached over and touched Wish's cheek. Her skin started to burn off as soon as he touched her. He saw Blaze limp over and look down at her. "We have to go...the prophecy will come true. Everything in this area will vanish and die if she is here. All living things will die." Darian still didn't take his eyes off of her. Wish looked up, staring at Darian dully. She closed them soon after and her body stopped moving.((No, this is not where it ends, okay?)) The next thing they knew, trees went up into flames and they saw squirrels and raccoons dropping dead for nothing. "No. She's gone Darian let's go! Everything is going to die. You can't do anything now!" Darian snapped his head at Blaze and glared. Blaze was taken back and softened his features. "Darian, I know you love her. I can't ever love her as much as you did. But sitting here isn't going to bring her back." "Then I'll die hear next to her." He said solemnly, moving Wish's hair from her face. It only caused her to burn into ash quicker, so he stopped. He looked at the dagger coming from her back and took off Wish's gloves. Darian pulled on the gloves and reached for the dagger. He yanked roughly, and it popped right out. Darian was surprised that she stopped burning, but she was still gone. More and more trees busted into flames, but Darian just kept his gaze on Wish. He picked her head into his lap and stroked her cheek. "I didn't know we killed her mother. I never thought I would hurt her this badly before." Blaze looked a bit hurt, he didn't want to tell Darian he knew it was her mother, but he had to. "Darian...That night I knew it was Wish's mother. I knew that Wish was the one we needed," Darian shot him a shocked look, "But she was going to kill you so I killed her. I didn't know we were going to be so attached to her. Or end up like this." Darian was silent. It didn't matter now, she was gone and everything else will dissapear with her.

Chapter 13



It's been hours...but to Wish..It felt like days..or weeks. The pain from the burning never subsided, and it was driving her nuts. She wanted so badly to scratch at it, to take away her skin and make the burning stop. But what good would it do...? How will that help anyone, if she died. It wouldn't help no one..not a single person...because if she died...all of life, died. Now what pressure is that? Doesn't that give it more reason for the person to kill themselves. It's called insanity. The insanity of pressure, and guilt for someone else. She couldn't take it, and she knew it was true. The reason her mom was dead. It was her fault. Her birthday, her very existence...killed her mother. No matter how many ways Wish could find out of that thought...she would always come back to it. Wish laid there, still on the cold floor in the hallway next to that door. The door that caused so much fuss. Sunshine, how she wished to just crawl in it, and get rid of herself. She couldn't do anything, she had to suffer, for everyone. She took the pain, while everyone enjoyed there life. Thinking like this, Wish filled herself with hatred. Hatred for everything and everyone. Even Blaze..Darian..poor innocent Rainasha, she didn't even do anything. But Wish hated her too. Wish even hated herself. The rage running in her body was making her sick. Sick with so much evil, you would die just standing near her. Those red eyes turned so dark, so much pure..evil..more then the devil himself. But no more..No more will she forgive anyone. Didn't you hear it somewhere...? That people can change. Your right...people can change from bad to good. Or from good to bad. But will they be able to change back if the person if filled with so much coldness? Is it possible? She didn't think so. As she felt her leg go numb, she twisted in pain, her head pounding. Then she started to smoke...her skin let out some acid type smell. *W-what's happening to me?!* She wanted to cry in pain..she wanted to sob and let everything out. She wanted to SCREAM. Her mouth flew open reveling her index finger long canines. "Ah..eh...S-stop," She choked out, "THE PAIN! STOP THE PAIN!" She screamed and screamed while the acid like smoke ran over to skin and just burned her more. "I CAN'T TAKE IT!" A single acid tear falling from her face. And everything was over. Wish panted heavily as she moved her hand in front of her face. *The burn marks..there..gone.* She turned her hand over and over to make sure she wasn't dreaming. She got up slowly, eyes widened and shocked. But the shock didn't last, when she noticed she healed herself. The acid in her body, brewing itself in her, helped her. That's it..she could only depend on herself. No one will interfere with her, or 'care' for her as they say. It was her alone..forever. The evil smile plastered itself on her plump lips. Her eyes never changing from there bright red phases. Why? It..it felt so good..The power running through her body, the power of bad, evil, hatred. She loved it..she didn't want to get rid of it. Why? Because now she knew how it felt to be so invincible, and why bad people and vampires kept it. It would be foolish to give it up. There was faint footsteps coming from the other side of the hallway. Four...no five people all coming at once, rushing to see what was all the commotion. If only they knew..what they were about to get into. As soon as they turned the corner, Wish was there. Her head tilted up meeting the eyes of Kale. You would think he would see the coldness in her eyes, and the hatred escaping from her and feeding into the other hunters behind him. But he was so blind as he said, "So Wish, I see you finally woken up your true powers, huh?" She formed an evil thin smiled raising her fingers, and out came her true powers. As balls and balls of blue lightning came, some hunters backed up. But not Kale he only smiled at power. He was proud she had finally awoken her true nature.

~::~WITH DARIAN & BLAZE~::~

Blaze paced around the room in frustration. How could he not have seen it? How could he not have felt that she was listening? He promised to protect her and now look what happened. She was gone, and he had not the slightest idea where she could have gone. Darian only sat still, staring into space. Yes, he was as worried as Blaze, maybe more. But he knew how to handle situations like this. His hands crossed under his mouth, holding up his chin. *How can I find her...? Who knows where she could have gone...* He knew she went through the woods...And what if...'they' caught her. Her footprints did stop at the very center of the woods. How could he save her if the Hunters had her. Would she even still be alive? She was strong..But not even he, would be able to stand long with them. His father..couldn't even do it. The door to the living room opened up and there stood Emerald. Blaze frowned at her appearance but Darian wasn't as calm. He stood up quickly hissing at her. She gave him a questioning look, making Darian even more mad. She was only trying to make herself seem innocent when he knew the full truth about the fight. "What are you doing here?" Blaze asked calmly making sure his brother didn't do anything stupid. Sure she was a traitor, but she was also his vampire people. If word got out Darian killed one of his own, he would be sentenced death. "I came here to help you find Wish." She said crossing her arms and closing her eyes. "Why?" Blaze asked with interest. Why would she of all people want to help the one she hates the most? "Well, I know I caused enough trouble, so I want to fix the hole I made. If I help, then maybe I can earn the king's trust back. Plus, she is our new queen, right?" Now you see Emerald wasn't really trying to help. Actually, she was helping the Hunters for her life. She had run into them, and now she is betraying her clan again. Before, some years ago, Emerald had done the same thing. Except last time it was with the king. She was once a Fallen Vamp, yes, she had once been chosen as a leader to protect her clan as well. But when she was going to die, she made a deal with the Hunters before, trading the king's life, for hers. But when Blaze had found out, he ordered her death when he became king...But she begged and begged that she will give anything. So they took away her symbol, burning it off her skin. She was no longer considered a leader, but brand as untrustworthy and weak. Darian didn't buy it for a second, but even though he knew it was probably a trap, at least he would be with Wish again. "Show us." Darian said immediately, making Emerald shine the biggest smile and walking out the door, waving her hand for them to follow.

~::~MEANWHILE...~::~ Wish stood there looking over the four dead bodies. She raised her head with her evil smile and looked at Kale in the eyes. Her stood there panting, but kept his smile on his face as well. "You call that sorry excuse for a group behind you Hunters?" She scoffed and laughed. "That's really pathetic...I mean come on. I didn't even blink and they were down." Kale chuckled to himself. "I see...You like the way you are. Doesn't it feel good, to kill then be killed?" Kale said. Wish made a half smirk. "I will give you anything. Just think, if you kill me now, you won't be able to get revenge for your mother. Those vampires killed her. Don't you want to make them suffer. I can lead them here right to you." Wish thought about this for a minute. *They do deserve to die...They..They took away her life for nothing! I want my revenge...yes...lead them here!* "Yes...I will spare you. You better get them here soon...or I will kill you!" Kale chuckled and nodded his head. "As you say, Queen Wish." Wish hissed and Kale was off. She walked down the hall, charging up her powers. "I can't wait..."

Chapter 12



It was hard, but Wish managed to open her eyes, but the negative of dust flying in her eye. She got up quickly rubbing it off and looking around the empty room. It was so cold even for her, her skin was probably more pale then it should be. Yea she could see but this was ridiculous. It was like everything was black, nothing full of color, or life, or light. She sat up from what felt like stoned floor. *Damn, the least they could do was give me a blanket or a quilt. A piece of cloth or something.* "Talk about coziness." She tried adjusting her eyes more but she just couldn't manage it. Her eye were burning now so she just gave it up. Wish got up from her spot, but had this feeling something was going to happen. "Why me?" She mumbled to herself. As soon as she got to the middle of the floor, her leg was pulled back by a chain. "I didn't even feel that there. How is that?" She asked herself sitting back on the cold, hard, WET floor, yanking on the chain. "Are you kidding me?! They chained me up, put me in a cellar/dungeon/basement looking place. With no damn blanket, and a freaking wet floor! You people are so lucky m down here and not up there!" She screamed into the darkness. She tensed up her arms and blue streaks came shooting down her arm onto the chain. *Nothing. Sheesh, what is this chain made out of?* You could tell that Wish was fiddling with that chain for awhile because it had scratches all over, burn marks from her power, and teeth marks. Yes, Wish was so desperate to get out of the chain that she bit at it. She even tried sticking her finger inside of the lock to see if her nail could get it. But no success(sp?). and no prevail. She tried her power again, but when she was in the middle of cutting it off, she heard a click and the lock fell right off. "Yes! I got that crap." "No you didn't you idiot. It's a remote lock. You can open it with either a key or the remote." Wish turned her head towards an opened door with two guards surrounding it. Some guy walked up to Wish and looked down at her. Before she knew it she was kicked in the face with his steel boot. She got up on her hands and knees wiping off the blood on the side of her lip. "You bastard. I'll kill you!" She shouted glaring at the boy. She could see he was around 18 or 19, and even though she didn't want to admit is, very cute. He had golden blond hair and sea green eyes and was pretty tan. But that didn't change the fact to Wish that he had just kicked her and he was going to pay. She got up and used her speed to get behind him. She was about to bite her when a silver blade holy water was shown at her face. Wish let go of the boy and she was slammed down on her stomach and her hands were crossed behind her back. She could feel someone's warm hands on them and they pulled her up. Her face was wet from the floor but otherwise then that she was okay. But she was NOT happy. *I will kill these idiots if it's the last thing I do.* They dragged her towards the door and she started to struggle when she saw they were taking her outside. And it was daylight. "What the hell? Are ya trying to kill me?!" "Yes, but not right now. We're just going to teach you a lesson about attacking people." "You freaking attacked me first you bastard!" "So?" He replied smirking and you hissed at him hatefully. "You will die by my hands." "Sure. Sure." He said waving off her words and opening the door. She tried pushing her feet back but it was no use. "Don't!" She screamed.

What do they want from her???

Wish was thrown outside for 7 1/2 minutes, but it felt like hours. Her skin was burning off and her hands looked like blurt coal. She was screaming and kicking and shouting as much as she could. These people had no sympathy what so ever. They were here to kill vampires and that's what they did. No way to get out, no excuses. She was brought back inside and she was thrown to the floor. She tried to talk but her mouth was hurting so badly. This would take forever to heal, even with her healing powers. It even hurt to breath, that was worst. It was a continuing thing and she wasn't supposed to stop. But she wanted to so bad, she wanted to give up and die. Everything hurt so much. If only she had stayed on the couch sleeping. If only she hadn't become a vampire! Wish's eyes roamed around the hall way of the building she was in. How could she get out of this? How could she escape and tell her people what was going on. Yes. Now the vampire clan was going to be her people. She had to protect them. She could feel eyes on her and she tried to look up, but it was a failure. "So you are still alive? Then the prophecy must be true. Right now a vampire would have given up life and died. But I guess not you. So, do you know of the prophecy." *No.* Wish thought to herself. "I guess not. Would you like me to tell you?" *No.* "I will anyway. I mean, it's not everyday a vampire gets to live to hear me talk. I guess you must feel special." *Yea right you fruit...* "By the way, names Kale." Wish sat there for a few minutes trying to catch her breath while kale went on about whatever he was talking about. "Okay, since you heard about this clan, I will tell you of the prophecy." *Oh goody..* She though sarcastically. "You see, ever since your mother died, we've been watching you. You wanna know why? Because you were supposed to be one of us Wish. But your mother was our top hunter. She was the greatest. But because of vampires, she died," Wish's eyes went huge..*No..she died in a car accident.* "Yes, your probably thinking, she died in that car accident. No my dear, she was out buying your cake. You were supposed to become one of us when you became 12, but that happened." Kale went on about how her mother died, and Wish couldn't do anything to stop him. She hated this condition so badly. "Well, like I was saying...Someone was being chased down the alleyway by a vampires and your mother went to go check it out. Never knowing that the king of the vampire clan was there with his little brother. They needed a special kind of blood for something and your mother was in the middle of it. She fought hard...but there was no way of winning with two on one. Specially with the two most powerful vampires there." *Darian and Blaze..killed my mother..?* "They created the car accident so that no one got worked over vampire 'nonsense' as they put it." Wish couldn't take it anymore. It hurt but she still cried. And this time she didn't care who saw. Her mother was killed by the people she loved...the person she is. Vampires killed her mother and now she was one too. "Now for the prophecy Wish. It says that if you shall become a hunter, we will finally eliminate all blood suckers from this planet with your power. But if you shall become a blood sucker, then the vampires will have all the power they want. If you were to die, your power will separate from your body and cause a meltdown on the earth. Destroying anything in its path because your body seems to react with emotions. And since the world is full of emotions, there's no way of stopping it. So we watched as you became vampire, so you wouldn't die so easily. But if we defeat the heirs to the clan, everything will be fine. That's why we need you." Kale got up from his seat and looked back down at Wish. If you were a hunter, I would make you my bride. You are beautiful like your mother, but now...Your a monster and must be destroyed like one. Your only purpose on this earth, is weaponry. Nothing more." Wish tried hissing but gave it up also. *That's what I am...a weapon. Nothing more. I shall except that till my dieing day. Everyone shall pay...for the pain they have caused me. I will have my revenge..*

Chapter 11



It had been a long night of scurrying around, and getting supplies for the new queen Wish. She had been attacked, but only Blaze and Darian knew why. For Blaze didn't want his people worrying over Hunters coming out of the night and killing anymore of his kin. There would be a fussy riot that Blaze hoped would not emerge from the piece of his clan. Blaze looked over at Darian, not with hate, but with sadness. And darian wouldn't make contact because he knew that the reason that Wish was hurt was because of him. If he hadn't said those things to her, she wouldn't have gotten emotionally hurt, run off, and then gotten physically hurt. He didn't know what to do with himself. Wish looked horrible in the condition. Never would he had thought she would come in counter with the Hunters who troubled the vampires for so many years. And the prophecy of her becoming a leader and fighting..was coming true all too fast. Blaze waved everyone out of the house, giving hand shakes to all the guys and escorting Emerald to the door telling her that darian wouldn't be able to come with her because either was important business to attend. She gave him an uneasy face but humped and walked out the door. Blaze placed his fingers over his eyes while shaking his head and closing the door behind her. He walked over to the relaxing area and sat down next to Wish. Darian came in next with some warm blood for Blaze. He graciously excepted it and set it down on the table in front of him. "What happened out there Darian?" Blaze said suddenly breaking the 5 minutes of silence and startling Darian. Darian looked down at his cup and set in down on the table as well taking his time to think of a good way of telling Blaze that it was all his fault. "We were talking. Things escalated farther then they should have. And she ran into the woods...That's all." He responded while picking up his drink and sipping it casually. Blaze growled softly in his throat and took a sip of blood, making a glance at Wish as she stirred in her sleep. Darian looked over as well, but averted then quickly seeing as Blaze looked over. "I have two questions that I need you to answer truthfully Darian. Will you?" Darian rolled his eyes annoyed at his elder brother. "Yes. Shoot." "1. What happened the day I found Wish more then half way dead on the road? 2. What really happened to you and Wish tonight?" Blaze questioned resting his back against the sofa, looking into Darian's pissed off eyes. "The night she ran away..was because she attacked Emerald." "Do you really believe that?! And innocent girl like her attacking Emerald? darian if you are that stupid to believe that once traitor, then I don't know what to do with you."(I'll explain the traitor thing soon.) Darian hissed to his brother, warning Blaze to back off. Darian bit on his lip, thinking to himself and cooling off at the same time. "Keep going. I wont interupt till your done. "Something happened between me and Wish. It grew and I ended up trying to..k-kill her. I couldn't control myself and I'm sorry. But when Emerald tried talking to her. She told me Wish lost it and attacked her." "What made you think she would do something like that, Darian?" "I was mad! I don't know why. Don't you think I regret every minute of it. I couldn't stand seeing that I was wrong and looking at her, so I told her to go." "You need to control your temper Darian. I have told you about that many times. And now look what happened. I have this feeling that your temper had something to do with your next story. But go on and tell. And I want details Darian. Every. Single. One." Blaze leaned forward with his hands slipped together. While Darian slouched in his seat, still guilty about what he had done. "Wish had come outside. I guess to get fresh air or something, so I went up to her and I guess startled her. I asked her about what was going on between you and her. then we got into an argument because I said something to insult humans so she got defensive. Then we were starting yelling about how if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be alive. And without me, she wouldn't be alive." Darian paused for a moment while Blaze let all of the information sink in. Darian watched as Wish coughed roughly and Blaze tender to her care. When she was back to her normal sleep Darian continued what he was telling Blaze. "I didn't mean to, but I said something about the way she looked. About her eyes. I knew it would make her mad, and that just made me feel so much better. It's a very sensitive subject for her, but I didn't care. She used her power on me, I blocked it and she ran." "That's not every detail..but it's good enough. I have another question...What does her power look like? And what does it do?" Darian was shocked. Had his brother really never seen Wish's rage. Was she that happy that she never had to use it on him, or to show him what damage this girl could cause.

No one had noticed, but Wish was actually listening to everything. The coughing fit was real, but the stirring was to give them enough evidence that she was still hurt and tired. "Well, they are blue lightning streaks. Powerful. They enter in through your body, and your whole system seems to shut off. I discovered it the hard way. *So that's what he really thinks. And if he knew that I didn't start with Emerald, why didn't he say anything. Maybe he loves her too much...* Wish thought to herself. But while Wish was in her own little world, she had missed quite of few things with Darian and Blaze. "If you did care for her why didn't you help her?! I love her! It's not my fault you screwed up." "I didn't screw up! I wanted to protect her but I didn't want to hurt her. If she would have stayed with me, imagine what Emerald would have done!" "She could have handled herself..If what you say is true about her and Emerald then she could've taken her on again." "I didn't want to take that risk!" "Well life's full of risks Darian! Deal with them." Blaze shouted back, ending the fight that seemed to grow after the powers of Wish talk. Darian got up from his seat and slammed the drink down. "Since I have explained myself. Why don't you!? Why didn't you tell me those fools were back?" Blaze sighed and closed his eyes ready to explain his self for the time this night. "Eight days ago...I have seen many of our kind dead. I didn't know what it was..but I had a guilt feeling that war was going to come again. Then when I found Cyrus dead, I knew it was only one thing that could have killed him. And that was the Hunters. But I didn't know why after all these years, they would start again. then everything came together. They were watching and waiting for years, to see if it happened. And now it has. Our dear Wish..Is being hunted." Darian s' jaw dropped. "Why?!" "It seems that she fits out perfect all too well. A mysterious gift has come to us. And if we have it, we may be unstoppable. And there afraid of that. But they waited until we turned her into a vampire. For if she dies, Darian, out world will come to and end. Our lives are in this girls hands." "How?! She's just a girl! Why her?!" "I don't know! I don't make the prophecy's!" Wish was so stunned. Why her? Why did she have to solve everything and make everything right? It wasn't fair. She felt Blaze get up from his seat. And she could hear Darian getting up as well. "Lets go before we wake her. She needs her rest." She heard footsteps becoming fainter and fainter, till there was none left. She sat up from the chair and swung her feet onto the floor. "Well if I have to fight...then I will." She looked at the window to her right, walking over and looking behind her to make sure that no one was there or following her. Listening to her self talk. She knew no one was there so she opened it slowly, climbed out, closed it behind her, and jumped. She landed gracefully on the grass and ran toward she woods never looking back at the mansion. She raced through the woods seeking out the spot where she last met these 'Hunters' and she would confront them. She told herself to be strong and that she won't let herself die. She couldn't do that to Blaze..and Darian. Wish paused as she sensed someone to her left, then her right. Actually, it was coming from all around her. Footsteps lightly hitting the floor running towards her. She froze in her place turning her head all around seeking the strongest of them all. But they were all so fast and strong. So smooth at running and silent. If she was human, she would have probably been killed before she could here a pin drop. Then it struck her...In her left arm she could feel burning and she scratched at it. "Ahh..Get it off!" She screamed. Her eyes were becoming slits turning bright and the electricity running down her arm, spreading onto the floor and lighting the area around her. "You will be coming with us." She could hear a slightly deep voice echoing off the trees. "We will teach you to work with us. Then when we're done..You will be no use to us." Her vision blurring and she started to breath hastily. "W-what...? No." "Yes..Now sleep, you horrid beast." The voice raising into a horrible laugh, and she was down. Her world crashing into dark oblivion.

Chapter 10



For awhile the party had been going on and still Darian hadn't returned. Wish ate uneasily, because of the fact that Darian was so mad, and that Blaze seemed to want to talk to him, but as the king he had to entertain his guests and make sure everything was alright with the other people. If everything was up-to-date with surveillance over some top secret building of some sort. Wish didn't know what they were talking about but she probably wouldn't have payed attention anyone, considering that she was only thinking of Darian's mood. She looked over at Natalia who she saw was staring at her unbelievably. Wish smiled at her and Natalia shot her a smirk. And Wish smirked back shaking her head. She heard Natalia say 'You lucky bitch' in her mind. Wish laughed to herself and took a drink of her blood. The nagging about the Darian situation continued until Wish finally excused herself from the table and walked away silently toward the front door. She opened it up quickly and took a breath of refreshing air. Wish walked over to the lake a few meters away, sitting on the white marble bench and stared up at the glimmering stars, the ever so pearled moon, and the distant fading clouds. "I wonder if he's out here still...It would be nice to talk to him." She said to herself, Or she thought, thinking that no one was around. "Well, I'm, right here. Talk." A clear disturbing voice said a little coldly. She turned her head quickly moving from the bench and looked up, to see the ever so famous face that played in her mind for quite some time now. "Oh..D-darian." She said stuttering. Darian exhaled his smoke from another cigarette(About the 4th one so far). He placed his hand at his side looking at Wish without the slightest feeling on his face. Or none that Wish could see through. "What are you doing here? And what was that speech about?" He asked...Or more demanded to know. Wish wasn't scared. But she didn't want to argue over something so stupid. It was her and his brother's decision on getting married. He had the right to know, but not the right to make her tell him all about it. "We're getting married. What else do you need to know? You heard what he said." She replied. Darian glared at her mindfully and took another smoke of cigarette. He looked away blowing the smoke in a different direction. Wish crossed her arms and glared at Darian for smoking. She really had nothing against it, but she hated when people did it when she was talking to them. Like they were ignoring her. And she had the feeling Darian was doing it to her. Just tuning her out and acting like she wasnt there at all. "You know, if you were mortal, you would be taking 8 minutes of your life just by smoking one of those." She said matter-of-fact-(I forget if it was 8min or 8seconds...but w/e). He turned his head to her and smirked while raising an eyebrow. "Well I'm not, nor ever, nor could be a human. And I never was one in the first place, so I don't give a minutes damn." He said snidely. Wish gaped her mouth open and hissed at him. "Don't insult humans because without them you wouldn't be living. With out 'me' you wouldn't be living. I could have taken your miserable life over any second when I was mortal. You had to have had me there to take that dagger out and take care of you. I could have left you in the sunlight. I could have stabbed that dagger in you deeper. And I could have tortured you by keeping you in a cage making sure you burn little by little each day!" She yelled at him. "Then why didn't you?!" He screamed back, throwing away his cigarette and stepping closer to her. The only thing holding him back...was the bench. Wish wanted right now to make him feel the pain she was now, but that wouldn't help anything. "I didn't because I knew you didn't deserve it! You did nothing to me. To me..To me Darian, you would've helped me. You would've saved me some time from this stupid world. You should have finished me off! Why didn't you finish me, huh?!" She screamed, looking down at the bench. Holding in mountains of tears. "I didn't because I was interested in you. You had high speeds and you were strong. I'm surprised you survived my bite anyway! I should have killed you. You were worthless and hideous! Your right...Those eyes are curses!" Wish looked up so fast, her eyes so big, her face, covered in tears. Blue tears ran down her cheeks...No not clear ones..Ice blue ones. They traveled down hitting the floor, burning a hole. Wish was so mad...she was crying acid. Her eyes turned bright for the first time in days and a huge shock came rushing at Darian. He actually dodged it like he was ready for it, and she turned her body running straight for the woods.

WHAT DID HE JUST SAY!?! THAT WAS SO MEAN!!!

Blaze sat at the table watching Darian come walking into the the dinning room again...and Wish had been gone for sometime now. He looked around the table and looked as far as he could from the table, into the next two rooms. He bit his lip a little concerned about Wish. He saw Darian look at him with a glare and Blaze ponited to him then into the living room. Darian's glare deepened but walked in anyway. Blaze excused himself from the table and followed in after Darain. "What was that about? You haven't said anything all day to me, and Wish leaves and you only come in. What happened to her?!" Darian crossed his arms firmly over his chest staring Blaze down. "1. I don't want to say anythign because I have nothing to say to you. 2. I don't know where the halfling is." He said looking away at the fireplace. "You lie! And she is not a half ling. You will respect her as the new queen of out clan! Do you understand!?" Blaze yelled furious now at Darian's childish act. Darian's eyes melted into a black coal color and he glared at Blaze so hatefully. "I will do no such thing. She hasn't eve been one of us for long and your already in love. How can you ask something like that to be our queen!" "'Something' Darian?!" Blaze was more then furious. He was outraged. Darian hissed loudly at his older brother with such disrespect. "What did you do to her?" Blaze said sternly his beautiful light green eyes going black as well. "She ran off into the woods like the idiot she is..." Darian said slowly. Blaze growled in his throat. "And you let her?! You know what kinds of things could happen to her. They are still out there somewhere!" "We haven't seen them for decades! What makes you think they'll come on this day?" Darian said curiously. Blaze sighed sitting down on a black leather couch rubbing his temples. "Blaze...What aren't you telling us?" "Darian-" "Don't Darian me! What's going on?!" "They are back. I just found out when I found Cyrus dead. He had there marking in his skin. Darian she's in trouble." Blaze said hopping out of his chair and running for the door. ~::~WITH WISH~::~ Wish ran swiftly through the trees and bushed, hopping over broken branches and roots sticking out of the ground. Or just lying there, rotting away. She started to slow down , until she was finally in a walking pace. Wish wouldn't look up from the ground, she was too ashamed. She could hear crickets chirping. Frogs rabbeting. Birds squeaking. And the wind howling. Wish kept walking, not even knowing where she was going. But she just wanted to get far away to clear her head. From the thoughts about going back and hurting Darian. Clearing the thought of running away from the wedding and the Frill family. The whole vampire clan all together. But she knew it would haunt her for the rest of her life. Wish suddenly ran into something, and it was kinda unusual because she could feel when she had to turn or go around something. She looked up, curious as what she ran into, but something told her that she wasn't going to like what she saw. A man with a black hat covering his face, a long trench coat down to his feet, with a black shirt. A silver cross hanging around his neck. She could see silver daggers all around his pouch. And a tattoo with a stake through the heart on his neck. Then she saw a bottle of holy water in his hand and her brain told her to run. But before she could do anything, she was thrown against a tree and water was thrown on her arm. It started to burn through her skin like acid, and she held onto it tightly, hissing from the pain. She got up and started to run away from the strange man. Then she felt a burning sensation strike her back. A silver dagger was now sticking out of her, and it was in there deeply. Holy water was splashed at her feet and she tripped. But Wish knew she had to get up and run quickly if she wanted to live. She limped quickly, her vision blurring from the dagger inside of her. If she didn't get it out soon. Wish was going to die from poisoning. Wish was half way through the forest when she saw Blaze, but in a blurry form. She could hear him calling, but in a distant voice. She could sense his sadness, as she crashed to the floor. And she could feel his worry, as he saw the silver dagger in her back. Wish's breathing was going down quickly. Blaze had little time, and little time wasn't going to cut it for him. He rushed towards the mansion, to care for the new queen.
